I wish Shin would just be truthful about who he is already. If only to stop all these people from pestering him. I get not wanting to tell the general public, since that would cause a ton of trouble. But at least tell this princess and the other royalty or something.
As it goes now, he'll keep running into people that want to bring him to their side. At least if they knew the truth they would be likely to give up due to how strong he is and how impossible it might be to make him an ally. Plus he could destroy an entire nation on his own, let alone having Snee with him as well. Not the kind of guy you want to make an enemy out of.
The royal family SHOULD know imo. And if they were smart they wouldn't tell others. Because 1: Having a high human, the legendary owner of the Moon Shrine, in your country is a huge trump card you wouldn't want to reveal to other countries. And 2: If they pissed him off he could destroy the country. (He won't, he's a nice guy, but from the royals' point of view he could.)
Being unknown Shin could still solve problems and stay out of all the power games. If it becomes known he is a Chosen he may have to do things he does not want to do.
You mean that he's a high human, not a chosen. ^^;;
Anyway, he's so strong that he doesn't have to listen to anyone. And the leaders of the countries should realize that if they found out who he was. Snee is already so strong that no one can force her to do anything, and she can get away with not even bowing to the pope or kings. Shin is so strong he could single-handedly destroy a nation as I said.
Well, i think i prefer if he's identity is kept hidden...Besides he's not omnipotent sure he's powerful but who knws he might still get hurt or even captured if these people finds a way that they can plus him being enigmatic only triggers minor flags that he can easily get off without having him to show off that might risk his identity knwn to the mass and unlike if he's knwn he might get pulled in some larger flags like using him for their own convenience(cuz hes a high human and so op) and whatnot and he gets involved in some political issues etc. that he has to do and to follow this and that cuz it left him no choice, he's been careful all throught his journey as to not get caught for who he really is cuz it seemed that he's smart enough to be aware that what i mentioned might possibly happen to him and made sure that he's effort until now doesn't get wasted for spilling out something unnecessary and also why does he need to hide or runaway? He's free to do what he wants as he's got no obligations to that world whatsoever and moonshrine tavern is his property not the kingdom's and its his right to take it wherever he wants to and if the enemy kingdoms finds out then its not his problem if war breaks out between the two factions we all knw that his personality is kind but even so he doesn't care as i can tell just as much as his partner(the super stoic op elf) doesn't.. Cuz all he's focused at getting HOME back in the real world.
Thing is, we already have evidence that they won't be able to force Shin to do anything, and that likely he can become a neutral party. Snee is this evidence. She has been in that world for 200 years. And while countries have tried getting her to their side none of them have tried to force her. Or if they did it backfired on them/they failed miserably. Because even after 200 years of all the countries knowing who she was and where she lived, living there as a neutral party is still the same thing she's doing right now.
So all Shin's actions amount to is avoiding imaginary problems, which in turn creates more problems for him than he would otherwise have.
Wondering if there will be any consequences for her actions. Bringing modern technology and food to such a primitive society would be devastating within a year in the real world.
I would understand it if it was just things like the hourglass, maybe really cheap shampoo put in a more appropriate container, or soy sauce for instance. Those would already be huge improvements on what the other world has. But no. She brings alarm clocks, fairly high end shampoo, projectors, her phone, photography, food that's completely impossible in any way, and other such stuff.
If there won't be any consequences I'm afraid I can't continue this manga for how completely thoughtless and unrealistic it is. Even for manga logic.
I get that everyone is (or was) exactly like the game she played, but seriously how can she be so dense? x.x This manga reminds me of the newest girl from Chihou Kishi Hans No Junan. Whom is also such an otaku that she seems incapable of understanding that real life isn't the same as a romance game. Even if the characters and world are the same in both.
In the end, all she REALLY has to do to avoid either of the game's endings is be nice to Maria. Because both endings of the game were a direct result of the "villainess" bullying/attacking Maria. Yet instead she goes through all these hoops and makes her life 10x more difficult...for no reason at all really.
Most isekai manga these days either go with the generic tried and true setting and story elements, go for something gritty/dark, or have a boring blank slate of an mc that just goes with the flow of what everyone else does.
Not this one so far. Can't say much about the story yet, but the vibe tells me this will be more of a "feel good" story than something dark or cliché isekai. And I quite like the mc too. He's got an actual personality, and so far does what he wants to do, not just going with the flow. I especially liked the little touch the mangaka put in of him not being able to speak properly due barely talking for three years. Gave him a nice "kind mysterious hermit" vibe towards the group of knights/adventurers/whatever while probably being pretty realistic as well.
Poor translator getting shit for not updating every day any more. Not his fault the raws don't come out faster. =/ And it's not like it's easy and fast for the author to make full colour pages either. There's a reason why most manga stick with black and white, and this author releases short chapters.
Sounds like a slice of life manga with an isekai setting. And from the sound of the description, they'll basically skip over all of the isekai parts in the beginning and go right to "it's a female elf working in a guild." I wish authors wouldn't shoehorn in an isekai setting when it's clearly not needed or really wanted, just because it's what 'popular' these days.
I'll give it a try for one or two chapters, but if it's exactly or very close to what I just described I'll skip this one.
The chapter starts with a bunch of introductions, yet no MC in sight yet. Then we get to see a young MC, then we go to the 'real world', then it's suddenly back in the VR game again, then back to other characters. Feels really confusing to read, imo.
I really hope the next chapters will be a bit more focused and less all over the place. Plus I hope there won't be any harem bullshit in this one...

Can't wait for that idiot son to be put in his place in the next chapter. Iris has done amazing things in the fief, making it go from a fairly poor place with many problems to a prospering place with a lot more people that are happy, yet the son can only think of the second prince and his fiancé. Cares so little about his sister he doesn't even recognize her.
He deserves to be disowned, imo, with how short-sighted, naive and single-minded he is.
Total agree with they shall disowned the son
