Been waiting for a while for the latest chapters. Still so good.
I loved it. T'was interesting and good. Would invest in it if it's longer.
TBFR, I loved their parents' stories a lot more than the children. It was cut short, probably because they intended to continue to the next generation, but I think it's a mistake.
The parents' stories were more realistic and relatable than the children's. They were also more fun and intriguing to read. Theirs is just so unrealistic and kinda forced.
Other than that, the art was beautiful. The character designs were stunning. Though I have a complaint on the triplet's. They all looked a lot like their dad and they also got his personality. The only thing they got from their mom were their AS genes. At least for the other guy, he got his dad's face and personality, but we can see he also his mom's hair color, AS, and also aura. His designs were my favorite here. His looks are SO my type. Even his personality was so . Can't say much about his obsession though. Might be a red flag but not for long, I think.
Still, such a shame they skimped on the parents' stories. I loved them the best.
Don't get me wrong, the art is gorge, although every character looks exactly the same, and the concept and plot are decent.
I think I enjoyed it better when it wasn't so... Dramatically cheesey. I mean, I love drama. But I want the drama that mostly makes *gasp, or angry, or in pain. Probably because I continued reading this to the part where the characters are getting lovey dovey and it just got boring for me as someone who prefers a BL love story over a straight romance.
Anyways, still gonna read till the end. I want to see they happy ending although it might be cringey. Still had fun reading this through the years.
At first, I really enjoyed it. Like, for real. I really felt the pain she went through, in BOTH LIVES no less. Both lives she was bullied and singled out. I cannot imagine how much emotional pain she went through and how stressful it was for her. I really liked how she's passionate about cooking, and even felt happy when her family started to basically grovel to her to get her attention.
It was going well until I started to take off my rose tinted glasses. I read some comments about how she forgave her family too fast and it made me realize how true that was.
She was hurt and the other Seniana was so cornered that she attempted to kill herself multiple times until she succeeded and was replaced by the FL. That says a lot about her family. They may not have abused her directly, but they ignored her calls for help, albeit indirectly, until she could no longer take it. I mean, she was failing in school, regularly threw tantrums, and wasn't open to communication. You'd think that as a family who loves her they'd actually figure out that she needs their help but instead chose to ignore her and isolate her.
They changed how they treated her after FL took over. Which means they only grew to love her when she came instead of the first Seniana. Really feel bad for her.
I also hate how the story is cooking. It's losing the essence. It's titled "The Young Lady is a Royal Chef" but the story is not even centered on that. They added a lot of elements that I could barely keep up. Like the Saint part and more magical fantasy additions that barely made any sense to the story itself. They should've just focused on the cooking and FL's independence. I bet that would've been more entertaining.
Anyways, it's been a long ride but I've had enough. Gave it a chance when it strayed from its original path but the story is just not cooking.
Anyways, I'm out. Never coming back again. It's been a good few years.
I love art. So beautiful, so enchanting! I also loved the character designs. They made their kid have his father's hair and eye color but his face is basically a clone of his mother. They made sure he still got his mom's genes despite how his father's was a more dominant one.
It's also fascinating how the FL looked exactly like her mother. And how she passed that beauty to her child as well. A pretty dominant gene in that aspect. Can't wait to see how their second baby looks. I bet it's a girl who looks exactly like her mother but with her dad's personality. A girl version of her brother but more outgoing than him. Though it's safe to say that Theo's got his dad's aura of authority, perfect for a ruler, and his mom's elegance and cleverness.
Anyway, I've been reading this since it came out. One of the few stories that I followed up on without letting it marinate till over 70 chapters. And I have to say, it's been fun. I've been obsessed with these kinds of tropes. The couple hooks up, they break up (mostly the guys do the breaking), MC gets pregnant, keeps quiet about it, goes as far away as possible, then time skips to the ex finding them and spends the rest of the chapters winning them over. Even read other genres with the same plot, it does not get boring .
I do love seeing the ex regretting and doing the chasing, but I think I love watching the MC just living, thriving even, by themselves and without the ex's help.
Other than that, I stayed for Theo, and also for the hot men here. Can you believe, that I fell for the 2nd ML and his dad? Like, did you see how hot the father was when he kidnapped the FL's dad and slowly killed him?! Okay, a little dark, but you get what I mean!
I was like, either I marry the young and fit Servel, or I have an affair with his hot dad Marquis Ecklen. Either way, I marry into their family
It's too... Childish? Not in a way that it's written by an amateur, I really respect the time, effort, and the beauty of the story itself.
It's just targeted to a much younger audience. Teenagers, I mean. I am a young adult who read stories like these in elementary and read rated stories by high school, trust me, I've grown tired of it now for my early exposure.
I just can't enjoy it anymore now that I've been... Woke. Also, the main characters are kids. They'll make love and give me r-rated scenes but I'd still see them as children. I'd actually prefer it if they look a lot older or THEY literally get older. Like, with the dad's age.
In any case, I'm dropping this at it's climax. I enjoyed it while I read it but I would really love it if I transmigrate in this story myself and romance the dad. I mean, come on. He's too hot to stay single
I hate them both so much. They're both big idiots! But I'mma read anyway because they're MY idiots.
It's good if I read this 5 years ago. It's just too bland for my tastes right now. I'm just looking for drama. But the art and plot is beautiful
So, I got bored again. I've read several different stories whilst reading this until I finally put it on hold.
I really loved the context. This spin-off is so good I wanted to read more. I mean, looking at the world of MHA in the perspective of a much older character with a smaller chance to make it as a hero makes it more interesting ti read.
Honestly, I loved it. The only thing that kept me from it is the fact that the story is not loyal to a single character or at least just the main characters. They included the backstories of several characters that were from the original MHA and I prefer them to be included to the original series and segregate from the spin-off. At least that's how I feel.
I just prefer this story to focus on Yoichi's. I really want to see how far he'll go but the pacing is too slow for me to consider it.
I'll be back if I feel like it again. I really love this story and hope to explore more of the original series through it too. In small and decent amounts at the very east.
The art is okay, the smex scenes were not it for me with those ahegaos. But the plot was decent too. It would've been good had they made it to 10 or 12 chapters at least.
Too bad the chapters are barely loading so I had to stop at ch. 131. Though I already skipped to the last chapter.
They should update this! I want to see their romance! Proposal! Marriage! Family!
I want to read it so bad
I was prepared to read drama and toxic people, only to be hit by a fluffy wholesome love story.
Why is this soo adorable
I mean, I never expected to be this invested upon entering this story but it was too good not to!
I love the art, it's so beautiful and the hot spicy scenes were so muah . The character designs were also good, sometimes I see Hodaka (Seme) as BJ Alex. Like, next level character designs!
I love the concept. Is it a demonverse now? I don't know what it's called but it's SO GOOD! The plot is interesting and they delivered the idea well. So well that I felt it was too short and wanted more. I hope to be able to see them in their adulthood! And possibly have kids too .
Still hoping for more. I'll be back the next time they update. I mean, we're now at the point of their relationship where they take it to the next level of depth and commitment, and I'm here for it!
Nope. This is sexual assault. Grape. And then hypnosis. Not my type so I'm out.
They made it seem like the story's so serious, with all the drama and action and mystery and stuff. But don't be fooled, in its essence, it's a light and shallow story. The Seme being in love was so sudden that it convinced me not to take this seriously anymore.
It's supposed to be a dark psychological story with a psychopath red flag Seme. But they rushed it all and could barely fit the entire plot with just this many chapters.
The art is good, smex scenes were great, and the character designs were okay. The concept was interesting too.
It just gave me a conflicting feeling when they rushed the marriage and the romance. Heck, the Uke is not even in love with him and was literally baby trapped into this marriage.
I do not think the pacing for the Seme falling in love with the Uke was right too. It's too sudden and quick that it makes me suspicious of the sincerity of his feelings.
They didn't invest much in their romance either. Had they done so instead of focusing on the curses, zombies, and ghouls, then I might have a different opinion.
I think they invested too much on the first half of the story that the second half just sucks ass.
