I feel like that blackmail was part of the play. Because of how insignificant the threat was. You cannot be fired just for masturbating, it's embarrassing but not punishable u know. So I felt like Jack enjoyed it. As to father's molestations, incest is immoral but believe it or not, it's not illegal (depends on a country though). But, if his father started that when Jack was still a child (which is implied in the manga), then that's punishable by law as child abuse, rape, u name it. my two cents.

Think about it....how would you feel if your own parents start dating your classmates and friends. Would you still feel ok? Not trying to spread hate though. Stockholm Syndrome IS common knowledge, I've never been taught in school about it either but people mostly just hear and learn of it once they're a ceirtain age. If you don't know about it you're probably just too young, but the MC isn't a kid, he's in college and probably around 20 so yes it's normal and dare I say even expected of him to know about Stockholm Syndrome (I'm sorry if I sound rude, didn't want to offend anyone, just wanted to state my opinion even if nobody asked:))
