I'm glad that Squal is trying to man up and face the music, but I find it hard to forgive him for his cowardice/inaction tbh. Like, generally being a coward is fine, he doesn't have to be Superman or anything, but the issue with his cowardice and inaction is that Mag had to pay the price for it. I do feel a similar way towards how Magaret used to be too.

I wouldn't feel this way about Squal specifically if the dad straight up forced him to trick/kill Mag with that said.
Sure, Squal was lied to, but it would've been so easy to just check out what the potion was. The plan was to kidnap her, that's criminally sus by itself and not a thing you just follow up on bc daddy told you there was no other option.

I do realize they're people, they were kids with flaws and bla (and I love this manhwa for this type of depth), it's not like I hate them or whatever it's just that I'm deeply disappointed and jaded by this (our) type of culture and power structure that allows lethally unfit people to sit up top while everyone else down that ladder has to bear the weight of their incompetence. In the end it is truly the shady dad who's at fault for all of this.

Her saying how they have to die so she can save "everyone" is hypocritical af. It's nothing but an excuse to justify her own greed for power, she couldn't care less about saving anyone.

first unrealistic new years resolution of the year: get myself a fine man like that

I can't help but feel like the narrative is trying to make ML look like he's at fault for not noticing he's being crushed on and being dense in that regard - am I tripping? Big emphasis on trying btw, because in the end it just looks like homeboy can't grow a pair and get over it.

Lowkey praying that his wife is a 6'2 bodybuilder just as delulu as him who will drag him back home by the hairs if needed, and confine and punish his ass - literally if you catch my drift.
Not saying I'd volunteer for that kinda wifey position but someone has to teach him a lesson, right?

the manhwa atleast knows what it is and commits to that, I can respect that

I like that FL got demons tbh. With this historic industrial revolution setting it's all very grim, very on theme here.

I respect this manga (and the novel) for how it's going about the whole isekai holy maiden trope. It adds politics into the mix and gives the situation more perspective than in the "old school" isekai scenario.

This CEO is restoring faith in god in the most unholy way

Rip girlie already has low self confidence bc of how she grew up but her last name is giving her even more disrespect lmao. At least she got rid of it for now.

Oh, I can already tell this is gonna be mediocre

It's because we mostly read trash bl manga (manwha, etc.) and have this very specific stereo type of feminine bottoms stuck in our head. Tiny, feminine, infantilized, naive with no will of his own who needs constant rescue - with minimal alterations between BLs. I think most readers don't even hate twinks. I find them hot, ngl I'm one of those fujo......

I'm convinced this story could've been like a 5 chapters one and done thing. Like no way it took my dude like 20+ chapters to come to the simple conclusion to just talk to his bf and/or make him his first plus sized model...

On a sidenote I love how their environment crumbles every time they kiss. That's iconic.
Their love is literally tearing the world apart. Within this linear story that is an impossibility and the flower can't do anything about it. What's it gonna do? Throw a tantrum every time they kiss?
There is no way to "compensate" for it, unlike those set up story events, so this fragile world breaks.

Deon is ok, but what in the blessed infant is a 'Lon'?

Let me guess: the fake nice saintly saint Diana planted that note somewhere when she was over at their place? Something about sensing people's malevolent/negative vibes and influencing that weak point (or it's like an entry point for her influence, whatever)?

It's crazy how the speed at which I read through one chapter has basically doubled with the new smu- season.

I hate the angels so much rn.

But can't not think how the intern angel with the glasses is perhaps gonna end up with the CEO so he can give him a spine (and a good lay)

somnia created a topic of Ungracefully Grace

I'm at chapter 11 rn and I just gotta say, it's so refreshing to see an FL grab the scheming lil fwo-faced trope of a malicious step-sister by the throat. Homegirl sees her sis start to play mindgames and just goes "OMG, no need to make up stuff baby girl. I'll just for real do those crimes to you, so your words shall always be truthful :)".
After 101 shy FLs that take a beating from their step-sister carboard cut-outs for no reason I feel alive again.
