i dropped this pretty early on, because i started sensing the idea that this plot won't settle for equality, but rather, use the misogynstic setting to make our FL seem special/different from the other girls because the males treat her relatively decent (not even has a human, but like an endearing pet?). like. idk. it just makes me so uncomfy that the sexism is addressed, but isn't seen as a big enough problem to change?? like does it get any better? because i'm reading other comments and it sounds like there isn't any world/societal development at all

yeah!!! like??? she's being favoured but she's not being treated equally? like lol the established obstacle for her (and just for women in the story in general) since the beginning was the sexism, so seeing our own mc just adapt to it rather than have it overcome feels super :(

honestly, i really love the developing friendships, like, my favourite relationship so far is between kenneth and latte like they're so funny. i hope the boys also become friends? bc i think they originally were supposed to be, but latte notices they aren't for some reason in this storyline. like idk, the relationship between latte and the maid is great, too. like i hope everyone become like close friends. also i lOVe how latte continuously makes references to her past? idk im just into it
there's smth about MC that i really love? and i think it's that she's a strong FL without being outstanding in a certain aspect that most FLs are. Like she's not overly smart (she's still super smart tho, but she uses common knowledge to make her points and her cleverness lies in her capabilities and wit, not in her education). And her badassery doesn't come from being emotionally unrelatable (nothing wrong with those indifferent badasses or those hardcore aggressive FLs, i love them, but i feel like?? satie's really reasonable when it comes to her feelings and past trauma in a way that feels understandable to most people).
and i love that she constantly refers back to her old world and it feels like she stays true to herself, never really becoming a whole other character even after reincarnating, but she also doesn't neglect Satie and who Satie once was.
