The author did say that they don’t like tamed tops. So the author is building up Zigrien’s character to be on par with the prince. Because so far the author likes more the chemistry and the prince as a top. But they said that Zigrien will become a more aggressive top. But by the looks of it, and how slow the story is going I would say that’s gonna take a whole lot more of chapters. Because you know Zigrien is not in a powerful position and he’s a bastard son. So we’re gonna have to keep seeing Idris get raped by the prince. One good thing I can say about all this, is that the explicit scenes with a lot of details between the prince and Idris are going down. In the beginning it was a lot of details of the two of them having sex. Now we know the prince keeps raping Idris but we don’t see the whole scenes anymore. And that’s probably a sign that the prince is losing “metaphorically speaking” (because we know he is currently “the top”) top privilege. I just want the prince to be gone.
I feel like the story will end with Zigrien as the emperor. In fairness to the author like you said, she is spending a lot less time on the r@pe and more on the actual plot and politics which I am really into.
I knew this was gonna happen but I’m so tired of Minhyuk pretending to be the knight in shining armor coming to protect the one he loved when he’s just like Tae-sung. The plot is going in circles, we know who Sooyoung loves regardless of the abuse, but somehow the addition of Minhyuk to this complicated things unnecessarily. I like the aggressive and passionate dynamic between Taesung and Sooyoung. That’s why I picked up the raws of this manwha. And judging by the extras the author makes you know the final answer. Sooyoung willl always choose Taesung. So I just want the author to let go of Minhyuk so we can go to the good part and Sooyoung stops being abused.
This author always does things that trigger me. I came back to read only because of Chowon and Kyungsoo and bro had to go and break Chowon’s boundaries. As someone with a toxic family, he had no right trying to get the grandma to meet the child. He had no right to indulge her. If they wanted to meet Bin, they had to be decent adults and apologize to Chowon and ask to see Bin. The only thing Kyungsoo is doing with this is indulging Chowon’s parents toxic behavior.
I have a child of my own and I’m glad nobody has ever step over my boundaries like that because head would have rolled if they took my child behind my back to meet my family when I know my family is not a good influence for my child. I read this story in Russian and know what happens. I wish they keep translating it anyway because it was a good story. I don’t like how the author soften up the features of the characters. The drawing was better in the beginning in my opinion. More manly. This is one of those twisted stories where you need to abandon your morals because nothing makes sense. So, if you’re still here waiting for the characters to make amends, you should leave. This story is not for you. It’s written for the people who love the struggle.
Sometimes the art becomes more relaxed since the arts has gotten used to drawing the same characters over and over again so it's more of the artists getting more comfortable with drawing
