The poor kid has severe social anxiety and could really benefit from professional help.
For Christmas his boyfriend should buy him some counseling sessions and maybe pay for his first prescription of anti-anxiety meds.
That would be an AMAZING way to show how much he cares.

This mangaka really knows how to craft a nightmare that is disturbing, terrifying, and intriguing.
The most recent chapter is going to stay with me for quite a long time...

Their inability to communicate with one another reminds me of so many couples I've known.
It's sad and it makes you want to scream, but it really does make the story feel more like "real" life.

Are Japanese people really that psychotic about customer service?
Seriously, they are freaking out over nothing. They are acting like the company will refuse to pay if every little, tiny, detail isn't perfect.
Next, I expect them to offer to wipe the conference goers butts.

    Sophiechu July 31, 2017 2:42 pm

Japan is considered to have some of the best customer service in the world, so yeah, its that important over there. It's the culture.

    kurarisu July 31, 2017 6:03 pm

^ As Sophiechu explained, customer service is highly valued there to the point that they take pride in it. Just to add, no where in Japan are you able to tip service staff because
    1. It's considered rude to tip.
    2. It's not allowed.

My mom tried to tip the hotel staff by leaving money in the room while she was visiting me in Japan, and the staff came running after her to return the money.

It's like those fancy, expensive restaurant. You expect the food to be good but the service too. You don't want the server to answer your request one hour later. They want the service to be impeccable to make you feel at ease so when you leave you want to come back and bring your friends too.

Japan is renowned for its customer service. People come from overseas just to be served by geishas.

Haha I used to do small jobs here and there when I first arrived, like waitering and washing dishes in small restaurants and cafes, and then I was in Narita for a while as a hotel receptionist. Working in the service industry there really opened my eyes to how seriously the Japanese take customer service. I'm not that good in Japanese, I'm afraid. I was taking night classes for the language but had to stop because it was pricey. Now I just rely on my roommate.

    In Seoul!

Must be something wrong with me because the "damn dog" Officer Kim pisses me off more that Sangwoo.
I mean, he's supposed to be one of the good guys, but all he seems to care about is making Officer Seungbae's life miserable.
I'm kind of hoping he becomes one of Sangwoo's victims.

No matter what happens, I'd really like to see Bum take in enough calories to gain some weight.
It would be so great to see him look healthy before the end of the series.

    Michi July 29, 2017 1:55 am

He actually seems to have gain some weight since the beginning of the story. In the scene where he's in the bathroom with the cop, he kinda has a chubby face.

Errant Belle July 19, 2017 5:03 pm

Asoda is so sweet and loyal; he really deserves to fall in love with someone who can love him back and give him his own life.

    manganiME July 20, 2017 9:33 pm

They're gangsters. They order people beaten and killed. They run drugs. Um, the sweetness is kinda moderated by that. :D

I know some people feel strongly that BDSM activities can be a positive way to express your sexuality, but technically a lot of that is grounded in diagnosable mental health issues.
So I often wonder if those people might not be happier and healthier if they opted for treatment instead of simply indulging in inflicting or receiving pain and humiliation.

    ShonaNingyo July 27, 2017 2:16 am

Yeah, some people just like getting off on being hurt. It's because when you get hurt, your body makes chemicals to soothe the pain. People get off on that. Stop kinkshaming.

    Ichigo January 15, 2019 6:56 pm

The only reason why BDSM gets such a bad rep is because it's not the norm. There are people who are into it because of some trauma but most people just like rough kinky sex. It's a sexual kink, just like how always having sex with the lights on is also a kink. That's all it is.

Errant Belle July 15, 2017 4:37 pm

Anyone else find the crate of "Sausages" in the background hilarious?
It's such a dark story, but there is this completely silly sight gag just sitting their while the two guys are going at it.

Errant Belle July 14, 2017 5:14 pm

Since he says Pyon is the sound a bunny makes when it hops, does that make it the Japanese equivalent of "Boing"?

I'm genuinely curious about how it translates.
