From what i read in the korean version, the scene where hiromichi recalled sleeping with a woman in the dark was intended to serve as a revelation. Just in case my translation didn't convey the meaning, here's the context.
Hiromichi remembered that once, he had sex with a woman in a room that was pitch black. He couldn't see a thing, so he felt like he could be sleeping with either a man or a woman. At that time, he thought that sex with a man couldn't be that different from sex with a woman, and if that was the case, he could pretend to be straight. But of course after he really slept with a man for the first time, hayato, he realized how different and liberating it was to finally embrace his sexuality. That's why he cried, because he just realized that "oh fuck, i just had sex with a guy. I thought i would never get to feel this and now that i have, i can never pretend to love a woman like my family want me to".
Does that make sense? I hope i didn't make it more confusing, i'm not the best at explaining stuffs :')
I really love that scene, because it was heartbreaking but also liberating to see hiromichi coming to terms with himself.
Keep in mind that that's what i get from reading the korean fan-translation version. Idk if the original japanese version meant it this way, but i still think it's beautiful nonetheless.

this special chapter is my favorite out of the manga, and no one has posted a translation here, so i thought i'd give it a try. it took forever to get it done lmao, and i'm still not happy with the quality of the image, sorry! i found the korean version on MRM and couldn't do much about the quality.
anyway, i love this manga so much. as a gay guy i can relate a lot to hiromichi and what he'd gone through. i wish no one had to feel like that, but well. we'll just have to wait for a better day, i guess. this chapter depicted homophobia and outing someone without consent, and though it's meant to show you how harmful those acts are towards LGBT+ person, it could be triggering. so take care of yourselves and always be kind!

Heey this is the translator. I decided to try picking this up because it's been almost a year since it's last updated. Keep in mind that i used the korean non-official translation (i understand 0 japanese) so there might be stuffs that are lost in translation. Moreover, since neither english nor korean is my native language, there are a lot of awkward phrasing and feelings that aren't conveyed well. So i'm really sorry!

Um, so it does have a bit of a sexual assault kinda vibe in the beginning, but I just checked and you can start chapter 7 and you would free from all of that. A little recap of the chps before the 1st MC is in jail for “killing his grandfather”. The second MC and him end up having sex and he ejaculates inside of him (this part is a bit sexual assaulty and a bit consensual but I would skip if that is too uncomfortable). Chapter 7 starts right when the 1st MC is let out of the prison and met with his father that didn’t care for him and never visited him in prison. Later onto this story someone is ACCUSED of sexual assault, but it was consensual. I really recommend this because other than the first 6 chps a everything is really good!!!!
