Aah i personally wish they didn't end up together, in my head it would've been more realistic that way. But it's still an enjoyable read, would make a really good coming of age movie.

I agree! I guess moto liking kazu back still feels kinda out of nowhere for me eventhough it took years for him to give that answer. Idk, the plot feels like it should lead to them staying as just friends, but that might be me projecting. Anw, this is still a better friends-to-lovers school romance than others.

It's just so nice reading a manga that just...takes its time. No yaoi-esque nonsense plot (e.g. my crush is a policeman...how do i attract his attention, you ask? Why, by becoming an exhibitionist myself, of course!), no over the top sex scenes (looking at you, mangas with magical self lubricating ass and monster dongs). Just two ordinary people meeting in ordinary way, getting on and falling in love ordinarily--yet somehow it's still so FUN to read.
Proves that you don't need nonsensical plot and shock factors to keep the readers entertained. And also, proves that healthy consensual relationship is not at all a boring material under talented authors' hands.
