This is just my opinion but I don’t like it as much as the old art, they both have their own kind of charm but it’s like two separate mangas. :( I was so confused when I bought the raw. Maybe they switched artists.

The face Doha made after Bada mentioned using the tapes to erase memory can be one of two things. 1) he didn’t think of this and will now use Badas tape to manipulate his memory and the progress of the game behind the scenes 2) he’s worried about the fact that Bada brought this up since he’s been doing it to Bada from the start. In all likelihood Bada has completed the game before or is the amnesiac NPC that Doha grew obsessed with and now whether as an external player or end game boss Doha plans to chain Bada to himself. If he’s an NPC end game boss then he would obviously want to keep Bada from leaving by forcing him into an endless loop of kills but if he’s an external force and became enthralled with Bada he’s most likely unresolved to leave him behind so continues to manipulate his thoughts and plans. It’s safe to assume Doha has some ability to alter the game itself as we never see him killed, we are going off the unreliable narrator Bada who can’t recall much in this endless Groundhog Day. So many thoughts, can’t stop rereading.

I thought it was a much simpler reason like Bada saying Hyungshin can go back to NPC means he could do the same to Doha if Bada wanted.

Yes, I mentioned that WE never saw it. We are going solely based off of an unreliable narrator (Bada) who we can’t even confirm is not an NPC meaning his memories could be programmed or tampered with. So it’s just a thought that he was made to believe he saw these things but brother can’t even remember who he was “outside of the game” or certain parts of the game that the other NPCs mention. :)
That’s true! But considering the dynamic between the two of them and their base personalities, I just felt it was more likely not something Bada had ever considered until that moment as he’s never had to expand his party settings to more than just himself. We can see this in the very fact that Doha still has all memories at this point in time when he could’ve not saved from the moment he realized what happened. Whereas looking at Doha, I fully believe that the minute he has any knowledge he utilizes it to his benefit and his benefit solely, even when disguised as assistance to Bada. :)
Regardless, I just know the climax and finale are going to have us shaking haha this is such a wild ride like a murder mystery dinner

Further confirming Doha is in fact a psychopath because only a psychopath will tell you to acclimate to the pain because they don’t want to stretch you every time.
The first seme literally has a whole ass fiancee and is actively cheating on the uke and the uke is just…being a doormat? Letting him stay in the house and interact with him like that? These are just my feelings but I don’t play those games, get the fuck out of my life if you hurt me like that. I don’t care if we’ve been together for years or minutes, betrayal hits hard for me.

Did the author get bored halfway through and decide to start picking chapter plot scenarios out of a hat? When this updated I was confused on whether this was the same manga, but happy the ending was lovely and really dig the yakuza debt collector being a white knight.
I can spoil the novel ending if y’all want because I’m not satisfied and want others to be as unsatisfied as me haha but it would be a read at your own risk situation. Also, we have a while to go for the adaptation to catch up.

So turns out ukes brother who became emperor after he died was literally fucking obsessy vanessy and starting fucking and killing guys that looked like him until he found one that looked TOO much like him. Then that guy became a personal knight who is literally spit at because everyone knows he’s a kept pet. Strauss emperor is a piece of shit who abuses and rapes the poor guy who in turn HATES the uke because of what he’s had to suffer. Older brother also has chronic migraines that are debilitating but won’t get help. Ukes brother is after ukes ass hardcore trying to bring him back home and seme is like nooooo. No. Ukes brother kills his own son to frame the uke as well which upsets the semes son the crown prince because they were friends (they end going to school together but CP knows it wasnt the uke.) Long story short there’s a tug of war where uke is fucking naive believing his brother could do no wrong and this lands him in a trap his brother sets and the seme has to rescue him. He then proceeds to let the seme get mortally wounded to save his brothers life AS THE SEME IS SAVING THE UKE FROM THE BROTHER because he didn’t want the brother to die. Fast forward and the seme locks the uke up because he doesn’t want him going back to Strauss when the uke can’t even admit he has feelings for the seme even though his internal monologue is very much “I love the seme” and then the seme is like “you know what, fuck this, go. You clearly want to go and never listen to me, I won’t keep you from your happiness because I love you so go.” Uke is freaking the fuck out because he’s like “I kind of wanted you to keep me here but okay I’ll go back to Strauss.” Fast forward again, he kills off all his remaining family to become emperor and gets his old body back (grows up) and his delulu older brother is like heavy breathing on his neck the entire time until he passes away from an illness that he was aware he had that was causing the migraines. Uke gets an empress (because he needs an heir) while having secret affairs with the seme once a blue moon. Uke asks seme to be his consort and seme says “maybe when I can hand my kingdom over to my son I’ll consider it.” Lots of yearning and barely any time together as uke rebuilds his kingdom and legacy in Strauss.
Hope that was enough, it was very abridged because like I said there’s still a LOT that’s going to happen. I was not satisfied lol. Let me know if you have questions.
Wow that's so shit, thanks for spoiling it. I really didn't want to go through all that in the manhwa. I rather just drop it. Well of course it was gonna head in that direction, why should I be surprised when it started off with him being a slave and raped by the emperor. Like wasn't that a sign that it was gonna be a shit manhwa XD
The only reason I continued reading it was to see if the mc could escape and find a better life than this slave life. Maybe putting the emperor in his place and he could go off with a better nicer male lead but nope. I was so wrong.
I kind of like this ending actually. He got his kingdom back and his powers. To me it's a happy ending because he is open to actually consenting to being with the semé now with no power imbalance. I wish wish there would be more fluff of them giving each other gifts as emperors and spoiling each other. After all that darkness, a little fluff would be nice.

Everyone is trashing the translation but I’m so confused. I’ve encountered translations on other manga that are very much so fished from the sewers of garbage land and when I read this I have never noticed an issue so am I missing something? Also, you always have the option to buy it or translate it yourself if it’s so horrendous.
It was like an official translation tho, so whoever was bashing these translations go elsewhere.

The translation here is bad but we just read something worse so it doesn't feel that bad like everyone is saying .. until now I'm not sure of her title tho
the translation is honestly not bad, it’s better than most on this site, but some parts of the translation is definitely confusing, partly because it’s usually the important subplots that plays a part in the main conflict.
