zhenya rapes mc to death (barely breathing) & abandons him by a riverbank (this will happen in the upcoming chapter). his real partner finds mc & gets him to a hospital. he says that if he was even a little later in finding him, he would've already been dead. spoiler, his real partner is the guy he initially thought was zhenya & who "kidnapped" him on the helicopter. he was obviously trying to save him from zhenya.
things happen. zhenya finds him again & abducts him to be then raped 24/7 on zhenya's private island. which is basically impossible to escape with the extreme blizzards, waves & it's out of nowhere. a lot of things happen. zhenya strangles mc to death & zhenya's sister finds him unconscious. she gets him out of there. i think he heads back to korea after that & of course he's then a fugitive & is being hunted (his corrupt company wants him dead). it's been a while since i've read it, so i probably left chunks of info out. but this is pretty much the gist of it.

LMAOOOO ngl Stockholm syndrome was a big part of it but i def think it was a mix of that, the fact that taekjoo was in a predicament n needed zhenya's help more than anything so he was willing to accept any deal w him, another part also is their compatibility w each other which can be seen in their fights w others n how they work together so well together, this is mutual too cuz zhenya has someone aka taekjoo who can keep up w him and taekjoo has someone aka zhenya who can shape himself to fit his style of work too (〜￣△￣)〜

For Taekjoo, his mother is no.1, then his work/country, the third place is Zhenya. They're compatible in their job and in bed, Taekjoo's moved because Zhenya leaves everything behind for him.
