I find Junko as a terrible friend. I'm not denying Nana wasn't healthy minded, but if you're gonna be rude to your friend anyway to toughen her up, maybe not be an accomplice with the people who hurt her?
Also despite how healthy Nana's family looks, Nana's behaviour is reflection of their ignorance
She wasn’t a terrible friend or really rude she just didn’t baby Hachi. She would give her a reality check unlike everyone around her. Also, this is the early 2000s people were very straight up and did not care to hurt anyone’s feelings it was just like that back then
Like I said, if you care about your friend that much why're you accomplice with the people who hurt her?
Because she wasn’t just close with her she was close friends with Shoji and he was really the only one who hurt her. Her victim blaming was the only thing she ever did wrong but the rest she was 100% right.
Other than victim blaming Hachi when shoji cheated on her everything else she did was totally reasonable and also was for the betterment of Hachi. Just one mistake doesn't make someone a horrible friend and a person.
From what i remember coming back to this after a long time I really thought she didnt like hachi. When her shitty bf said she was too clingy she shouldnt have come and to get her own life junko took his side. Than when she DID get a life he claimed neglect and cheated on her and oh wait, junko still took his side. She could never ddo anything right. Her needs were always wrong.
The sequence of events are pretty wrong. He went to retrieve princess but kissed the demon without any fear of disease, curse, disgust. His friend was killed by him and he went to have sex.
Would be way more fun if it had a bit more serious and darker
Horus's memory of Seth begins with Isis's description of him as a cruel god. But when he himself met him, he was a broken man. Hours didn't have a father figure and very jealous of Anubis who got that affection. So how did it turn as Horus having romantic feeling???
I really like the story but it could be much better if we had Horus thinking Seth like a respectful platonic figure and Seth could chill for a moment
I do know the 'how' but whether it's right or wrong is still another matter. I think his view of Seth changed when he had that revelation (while seeing Ra for the first time, as a child) that all the gods would eventually disappear (letting humans evolve without them) and that, of all the gods, Seth would be the first to vanish into nothingness, due to being "an evil god". That's when he realized he need to get over Seth's accidental curse on him that had made him want to stay as a child for ever, in order to replace Anubis: perhaps he realized he would need to give up on that and become sth different for Seth, sth different from being his "son", in order to be strong enough to help him and even save him
Seth is a wargod and anytime when he is alone in a frame, we can see it. But he's mostly drawn like a twig infront of other big men. I get as they're relatively bigger but it doesn't completely vanish the physic one built
Apart from the plot and story, I also like how author presents those se scene. It's like half a chapter of smut but holds much more than some manhuas doing straight 5 chapters of just sex
I think it all started with painter of night. Trashy ml with those similar facial, mental, sexual features. However compared to mingwa's BJ Alex, Seungho had far longer and better redemption arc and backstory.
Why do stories turn that one ray of hope of a character into a criminal? Yeah, they might need to get their hands dirty to pull out from that swamp, but why become identical to the villain?
