I freaking HATE Kyubin's friends! But hey! At least their shitty antics gave KyuTaek a chance to be lovey dovey in public. I still hate his friends tho
His freaking friends didn't help him in times of trouble and just watched-- they didn't even call the teachers for help!! They act like they're never in the wrong and in this chapter, they just wanted to put Kyubin in a "humiliating" position (not knowing they actually put Kyubin in a favorable position with his boyfriend). They didn't care if Kyubin was doing something good for himself and/or for others, they just cared about having entertainment for themselves. Like. I fcking HATE them.
I haven't actually finished reading this yet, but, @ http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/samishigariya_no_love_letter/bt/341792/Vol1_Ch1/31/

Oh my god Haruto's such an idiot!! Even I cried for Hina. Grabe, ang tanga tnagina.
What?! That's it?! How the hell is he gonna continue the lineage? I mean sure, happiness first, but the discontinuation of the lineage means kind of total extinction of the next generation that will be able to communicate with the Inari. It's actually kind of important that they solved this. Honestly I'm thinking of surrogate parenthood and/or vitro fertilization or something but I guess that's too realistic and serious to mention in a fictional, fluffy story. And the mother still looks young, maybe the parents will produce another heir? Also:
1.) This is shounen ai/yaoi and fiction: don't bother about the age gaps anymore. These kinds of worldly issues and worries are normally not taken into consideration and/or nonexistent.
2) The age gap shouldn't really be a pressing issue since the minor was the one who persued the older male, he knows exactly what he wants, and nobody manipulated him or coerced him into making a decision. The older male was reluctant and was not on board with having a relationship with a teenage boy (esp in place of his fiancee) originally.
3) And also, marriage customs are different in Japan. I'm not sure about the details, but it's probably legal for 16 yr olds to marry or something, regardless of age gaps, or that arranged marriages are internal transactions that are probably exempted from more public, common customs or something. I'm not entirely sure. Also, "first-cousin marriage is allowed in Japan" but society doesn't really approve of it because it's wayyy too incestuous. And, yeah, it's controversial enough irl but it's not addressed in the story. Well... What can we do?
In conclusion, you just can't apply ordinary realistic expectations to most mangas. It's a fiction built around a fictional world, and we, readers, have no say nor control over it. As long as it's not affected reality, what happens in fiction will be harmless.

He was trying to help him but that was what he got in return. And he was a man with a family, too... And nothing was done to make it up to him or for the main character to deserve the sensei's forgiveness. I get that he was a very very messed up kid but... That was another person and his family's life possibly ruined (because losing your job as a teacher due to sexual harassment/scandal or any other immoralities is very very shameful, not only for the man/father but for the family as well. And the fact that it was false makes the situation even more bitter to let go. It's hard to clear up your reputation)
Tsk. Ah well, he did go through a lot of shit anyway, that 'uke' (i hate saying uke but I forgot his name, so...) But with all the bad things he did, I couldn't help but think it was his karma balancing things. He didn't deserve the bad stuff for no reason, but because he did the person who tried to help him wrong, he received a lot of misfortune. The only saving grace he got from his punishment was his child. His karma was getting better after that lol
Is this actually a case of Stockholm Syndrome??? I mean, he knew him before he was kidnapped and he was quite fond of his kouhai in the first place, but even so, when you're bound and held captive and betrayed by someone you trusted, you wouldn't end up falling in love with them, would you?? And Senpai still doesn't know he loses his memories when he's drunk lol. I guess he knows that he was taken advantaged by Kouhai when he was drunk in the beginning but I don't think the info really sunk in properly; with all that has been happening during his captivity, I doubt he managed to process the passing info properly.
Oh well. They're both messed up anyway.
No, I knew... Which one was Yuuya again? I don't really want to read the story again. I remember how both of them had feelings for each other and one of them is getting impatient and frustrated but still, the methods he used to get his senpai to confess or for them to get together was very extreme. Like... Lol idk. I probably read stories with weirder, more twisted reasoning, so this one probably has more feelings involved.
Honestly, I don't really mind that it's centered on their job and I can respect how important confidentiality and work ethics play in this manga/in the story, but I couldn't help but feel like they were too dramatic with their dialogue and how they handle their job. Nakai, especially, but of course, I should take into account that he had to go through an experience like some lowkey slander from his previous branch and the idea that he almost became an accomplice in an insurance murder case had it been successful would leave anyone shaken through their core. Still, it was like Drama was being forcefully incorporated in the story rather than it happening naturally throughout the course of events.
