Yawhi is a bottom tier seme. He isn't nice, helpful, witty, cunning, funny, charismatic, charming, and he doesn't anything to move the plot along. He's not even a tease, which is the least you can expect from a jerk character like him.
Like, other than the fact that the author clearly wants them together... Why would the readers? It's the first time I've read a series for this long and the ML basically does nothing besides have sex when the whole story isn't about sex. He and Jooin really don't even talk. I had hoped that when he realized that Jooin was outed or when he was mad, he would step up. Have this big moment where he stands up for him and shows that he cares but he never did.
Kind of sucks because Jooin is a lovable, naive character
Because that's the only genuine chemistry. Jay is the only guy who was with the OG Aine because he actually wanted to be with her. And so even though the new Aine is scared of him, he's still the only legitimate love interest to me.
