Ngl the comments complaining are the most annoying thing. I wish there would be comments about what goes on in the recent chapters rather than the constant copy paste complaints. It’s always: “nothing happening!!” Or “I wanna see mincheol!!”
Sure it’s a slow story, but if it went at the pace ppl keep begging for then there would just be complaints that everything was too rushed or easily resolved. Ppl yapping that “nothing is happening” when that’s not true at all. Yall just don’t care to read anything except for the scenes YOU want. There’s chapters focusing on developing the relationship between the FL and ML, but ppl complain that they don’t care to see it too, but would likely complain that their relationship is only about sex if all of their interactions were cut out.
Ppl whine so much but come back every week for the new update. If it bothers yall so much, then just put the damn story on hold and read it when it’s complete since yall are so impatient lmfao. I swear certain audiences attention spans are so low.
Lmao I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a united audience opinion on a single character until Scott came along. There’s not a single person I’ve seen that likes Scott LOL.
Anyways personally, I think it would’ve been way more entertaining if Scott’s two flings hooked up and got together. Now THAT would be a way more entertaining relationship than whatever Scott has going on. Scott’s just so immature and it feels bad that he’s choosing to have the baby when he can’t even handle his own messes. Having a child when your life and mind is unstable, is just disaster waiting to happen. It’s true that Scott is basically dependent on his flings for everything.
NOOOO I knew there was only a shounen ai tag but I hoped it wasn’t true. This isn’t just me complaining that a story doesn’t have sex, I finished the novel a while ago, the NOVEL literally had multiple detailed smut scenes in it. So they completely cut it out for the manhwa. It’s sad cause it shows how much heechan is into doing it with minjae lmao. He literally looks forward to it all the time.

Omg this is so peak. The art is supreme and the FL is amazing. An actual villainess type. Not like Roxana, but leaning more towards Aria.
The way that the artist/author blended typical historical manhwas with a horror element is so cool. It reminds me of the grimm’s fairytales. It gives the same feeling I got when reading Aisha (rip). The way the artist drew the FL looking terrifying and made so many scenes of tension coming from the FL alone is so rare to see.

Ain’t no way. Sure there’s the excuse of character development but dang, she really thought “I only intended to bully him a bit” after seeing these grown men beat the shit out of the mc. There’s also no excuse of her being just a kid and not being able to do anything since it’s obvious they listen to her, and she has magic. FL dad and brother were exactly the people he thought they were. The dad cheated on FL’s mom and has been sleeping with that merva maid the entire time. Saying “they fell for each other at first sight.” Even the servants knew that they slept with each other often.
Funny thing is they don’t actually care about each other. In FL’s first life he abandoned her once it was convenient. Mirva is easily seduced and sleeps with multiple other men saying the FL’s dad isn’t actually good in bed lol. She gets caught in the act by him. But guess what? FL’s brother comes to her defense and blames it on FL. Sad thing is he didn’t seem all bad at first but he instantly got mad when FL took ML as hers instead of how he should’ve received the slave.
Oh and btw, this is supposed to be a 18+ story. So there’s a version with censored smut.

I canttt, their backstory is so sad. It’s so disgusting what those guys did to them. First the abusive father. Then dealing with the pedophile uncle.
I saw ppl already mentioned the uncle also being abusive but I don’t think most shared the details of the fact that it’s implied the uncle raped jingi. Before the flashbacks, I think the it showed that mc found some video(s) of child pornography in jingi’s possesion. He immediately was disgusted and angry, thinking that was jingi who did that to a kid. But jingi revealed that the kid in the video is him. Mc asked why he’s keeping that, and jingi is like “for revenge.” And then the flashback sequence starts and the recent chapter with the uncle separating the brothers by putting heonjae in another house and taking in jingi. Then he takes the two boys (someone shared the other boy was a delinquent child), into a room shutting it.
Newest chapter has mc catching them in the act with the gangster dude on top of injured ML. MC tries to reason with gangster dude to stop. And gangster dude is thinking, “this is part of your plan all along! To make me do all this so mc could see!” (He still isn’t taking any accountability that he made his own choices to end up in this situation and keeps blaming it only on the ML tbh). ML is of course acting out the part like “run away MC!” While whispering to gangster dude something like, “you had to chance to just silently go.” And as mc is helping ml walk away, gangster dude gets up and once again tries to kill ML. It shows blood but doesn’t show who gangster dude stabbed.
Like I said before, both guys are red flags. One is aware of how bad they actually are (ML) and the other is the delusional type (gangster). Even when the gangster had several moments to be better and be more mature as the older party, he just kept going. Even when he was let go by ML, even when he was stopped from his first and second attempt at murdering the ML, he STILL kept choosing the wrong choice by going to kill the ML again.
So mc has the choice of going for a ML who he already knows is a bad person, or the gangster dude who won’t listen to anyone but his own wishes. (That includes mc,,he doesn’t give af that mc rejected him, he’s still delulu thinking they’ll end up together if ML is dead).

The only reason I’m going this hard on the gangster guy is because there’s too many people who are naive here that think he’s an angel. While ML is already self-explanatory, and everyone knows about how he is. Although I still think the author could’ve written a better path by making the gangster dude couple up with the brother- they might have just made another toxic couple in that case if this is how gangster dude was gonna be anyways.
Ngl valid villain origin story. Of course mc doesn’t deserve to be the one he takes his revenge out on. But it makes sense why it’s mc, seeing as that’s how both the uncle and ML treat everyone else. The uncle and ML treated everyone as disposable, so why can’t mc be the same (is likely the doctor’s thought process).
Honestly would’ve been interesting had this been the doctors revenge story with him as the main character rather than some Stockholm syndrome romance between Mc and ml.
Ngl the dirty talk makes me cringe. I would get it if it was just a few single liners here and there, but the man is the type that talks way too much during sex LMAO. The dialogue is exactly how smut novels are written to describe every little thing to fill out the space
Okay so I found a tolerable site to read the novel. And jeez, the twin brothers are the worst characters in the story. It’s crazy how her own biological brothers are the ones that actually tormented her the most. First they made FL bow to Yuriana 100 times. You would think they only acted that way as kids, but since the time skip FL is 19, meaning the brothers are older and still acting so immature. They still don’t know her identity from the part in reading at, but even so, they’re just genuine horrible human beings. They’re rude af to ANYONE. When FL had to dress as a man, they were mad that FL embarrassed yuriana by not wanting her and literally set her up to get beat up. They made the new empress distract FL’s friends while calling FL out and telling her she had to duel one dude and them. They GANGED UP on her (both twins). One even punched her. Though she was in her man disguise, they still were just horrible in general all for yuriana. One of them was also mad that FL stole the attention of his fiancée.
The biological dad is not great either, since he had that time where he got angry at her for simply being in his dead wife’s space and the fact that she’s simply known as being the daughter of princess iris. But he’s only not as bad because he’s an adult and gave SOME leniency by giving her rations of food during her time in the tower. The most he did was negligence which isn’t as bad as the brothers. I really hope she doesn’t forgive the brothers at least.
Okay so ngl this story has me hooked. At first it started out like any other normal historical transmigration story. But then there’s so many interesting backstories to the side characters. Like Princess iris, Elizabeth, the grandpa, etc.
I will say the game addition to the story is my least favorite part (which everyone else also has said the same lol), but other than that this story made me read it in one go and immediately went in search for the novel. I looked on the usual site where most novels are and the links didn’t work- so I had to search for alternatives. Can anyone recommend a good site to find this novel on? I found nyx’s translations but those only go up to a certain point before a paywall. Novelbin has terrible grammar too and is confusing along with all the pop up ads.

Sure he’s cute, but his character set up with being a playboy + loving someone else and thinking of that person while crying about them, isn’t what stands out to me as a ML. True, FL is doing something similar but she likely won’t be the one to chase after the blonde. So there wouldn’t be any regretting on her part
Alright usually I don’t really care for comments who hate on the FL, as I don’t make any comments about that or press the like button/reply to them. But it’s getting real now. Fr got the ick this chapter. Like wtf is the FL doing?? I get she’s anxious but that’s still no excuse. She initiated that shit more than once. Even if Alphonso got the letters and got the full picture of why she’s being forced to marry Cesare, her initiating kisses and all that crap crosses the line. Alphonso literally is right to be anxious as FL is proving her unfaithfulness. Even when Alphonso was going through that arranged engagement with that other chick, he never fell for such advances from her.
I just know if the roles were reversed and FL witnessed Alphonso do the exact same actions she did, she would feel betrayed and the readers would flip out even if they knew there was no feelings involved.
When Alphonso gets back, I hope he would express how awful he felt about what FL did.
The author is rushing things. Idk if it’s the last chapter but chapter 40 they suddenly talk about mc being pregnant. Even the Korean comments were confused asking, “when did he get pregnant??” They didn’t even talk about it until that chapter. Then the next chapter there’s a time skip and the child is walking around.
