The potential this story had in the very beginning was high. With the character designs and premise. But then the actual plot and writing of characters went downhill. It’s like every author that had a nicer romance work with no love triangle, decided to make a new story with a dramatic af toxic love triangle plot. (Author of fools, heesu in class 2, this author, etc). They all wanna follow some drama plot trend and it always turns out so ass. You can’t tell they suck ass at writing such tropes. Like pls leave it to the authors that started out with that trope and know what they’re doing instead of jumping into a trope you don’t even know how to write well.
I still don’t even get the purpose of throwing the creepy professor in there. Like what even is his purpose? To stir the pot?? There doesn’t have to be an entire character that does that to get some conflict into a story. The professor feels so useless and like the author just wanted to copy paste the appearance of their fave ML from the previous work. The professor just feels like some old dude that has nothing better to do with his life than mingle in his student’s business.
The characters are ass in general too. The ML is self explanatory. But the red head is just plain stupid. Like of all people to go to, you go to your professor?? What about your parents?? Do you have any other friends? What went on in his mind for him to think it’s normal to stay at a professors place for comfort.
It’s unbelievable that the sob story works on gullible readers but at the same time it’s not cause there’s always gonna be those types of people that sob stories will always work on.
Anyways spoilers for those that do have hope for gunner, thinking he’s “safe” for being familiar or deserves a second chance for their mid ass “happy memories:

This gotta be one of the most delusional BL fandoms I’ve ever seen. Just came back from multiple TikTok posts of people crying about seunghyun being with yuta and not with jaeil.
My issue is, a TON of people are babying tf outta seunghyun and thinking he’s some perfect angel. As if he isn’t apart of a damn gang doing all the dirty work and dismembering some dude in the first chapter cause he was mad about the wedding.
They’re mad that jaeil and seunghyun aren’t together (mainly cause they’re suckers for one-sided loves and want it to come true even when the other party doesn’t like the person), ignoring the father/son dynamic where jaeil picked him up when seunghyun was a child. But also are disgusted with the twins. So pseudo-incest is great but actual incest is not, for them.
They’re mad cause yuta SA seunghyun but stay ignoring when dooshik SA jooha and the gang rape situation. I swear this fandom picks and chooses based off their faves. Their logic is “if my fave did it, it’s okay, they must have had a good reason for it!! But any other character is bad for doing it!”

So props to the people that DO acknowledge whenever any character does a bad thing regardless if the character is a simp for the person they like.
I like the story, however there’s one thing that bothers me. It’s how they end each arc. So far I’ve seen 3 arc endings and each one ended in a way where it’s kind of an open ending. They don’t show you even a little bit of what happens after the end. It’s really unsatisfying.

So the first arc ends where the ML sacrifices himself for MC but says he disappears and is wanted by the system. That’s it. Then they move onto the next world.
Second arc has MC get killed as ML shouts out for him, distraught. Moves onto the next world.
Third arc MC leaves ML and 2nd ML and there’s no confrontation between them before even leaves. Just saying words of what will happen and then MC moves onto the next world.
It’s unfortunate cause other system stories usually give you some info or closure to each arc. But this one makes it so you know nothing after each arc. I wished we got actual scenes showing the two leads faces
So Yuta is definitely a strong character. He’s rich, has strong physical strength, and possibly from a yakuza family.
Though if y’all came to this story hoping for no SA, don’t forget to consider how the author wrote the main story. Doesn’t look like that will be any different here. Now the roles are reversed.

Anyways I get that the dad is also really hot. But I’m curious, does anyone even remember the info given about him? Did no one remember the fact that ML and taehee are half brothers and the half brother implied the dad had an affair? Also how BOTH the dad’s kids ended up growing up with issues. I didn’t notice before but I realized the art changed as I was reading. In later chapters, the art became more simple than before. Like it has a cuter style choice compared to the beginning chapters where it was more detailed and mature looking. Not to say that the newer art is bad. It was a smooth transition cause it took me a while to even realize something was different. I kinda hope the detailed and mature look returns as the group gets older
Finally the season finale was translated lol. Honestly I understood everything brett said, and I kinda lean onto his side more here. I do get Hayden’s frustrations of course, since he genuinely cares for Brett and wants to be the one Brett opens up to. But Hayden obviously couldn’t control himself. In a way, I think brett’s way of seeking comfort from Hayden was precisely wanting to continue going on those dates with him. That’s likely what he thought he needed and wanted during all this chaos. He saw Hayden as the one that could make him feel happy and comforted. But Hayden took that the wrong way, thinking Brett was just saying that to avoid the topic.
Brett WAS on point that he knew Hayden was not gonna be happy hearing all the answers, yet Hayden still pushed for them and got upset. Brett’s also correct that Hayden can’t actually do anything for him in this case. Hayden has no power, no influence, not enough wealth, and no connections. Brett has everything handled already. All Brett wanted Hayden to do was be his safe place that stuck by his side during this time.
It is pretty sad with the bird scene showing the symbolism of what happened with his brother and how it’s connected here. How Brett gives what he thinks would make the other happy but the other is just terrified at his affectionate gesture. Brett knows and reaffirms that he can’t match what Hayden wants in a relationship.
What was this author’s lesson here. The omega got no consequences whatsoever. He gets forgiven and cared about by the two people he hurt. Both MC and ML got no backbone. Just imagine the roles reversed “alright bro! I’m gonna rape your crush, impregnate them, and leave the child behind. So you should take care of my mess! I’m such a good matchmaker right?”

I’m not surprised tbh. He was always sus from the start. It was always weird to me that he had the potion to cure ppl but only gave it to the top students. What exactly is the point of giving it to the top students only? I also don’t remember seeing a single person who has been cured by the potion, just that they mentioned previous top students got cured.
Also the fact that he always sends out his students to do all the dirty work instead of the older experienced adults. And the how such adults/staff at nest always are late to rescuing their people at nest.
Whoever made the summary was incorrect lmao. I looked to check and that ain’t no loli at all. If that’s a loli, then nearly every shoujo FL is one. I think they got confused as to what a loli is and looks like. They think to be a loli you only need a small face and huge eyes. A loli appearance is usually based on physical body appearance. So the height would normally always be shorter than every other girl in the story.
A part of me is relieved that he’s already dead and that they don’t have to deal with him anymore. I just wanna see seoin looking at him with a smug expression on the dude’s death bed.
And the other part of me isn’t too happy that he’s dead because that means he got away without punishment. Seoin didn’t get to find out what he did to yeongwoon, and since jaewon is already gone- no revenge is able to happen.
