So I read some of the novel. And at first it’s a slow build up where there’s no smut, but as soon as they do it for the first time, it flips a switch and it becomes more smut than plot imo. BUT don’t take my word for it because I put it on pause specifically because of that. I think their first time together is good, but after that in novel format, it becomes really repetitive. The author uses the same words like “ferociously” ‘multiple times and I can’t take it serious. Though im sure it’ll be way better in manhwa form because there won’t be repeat description and it’ll all be images lol.
But I guess my only thing is, I enjoy a nice balance of plot/relationship and smut. I mostly dislike it when the smut feels like a mandatory schedule. That’s basically what happened (at least for the short part I read it). It’s one of those things where the ML experiences how good it feels to have sex with the one he likes, and he basically needs to have sex every week. And mc accommodates him by doing a scheduled day a week for sex. I really dislike that feeling where it feels required rather than naturally leading up to when they’re both feeling it. (Reminds me of Lucia tbh) (BUT note that it’s not forced or anything, MC also enjoys it and indulges the ML,,it just bothered me that it focused more on smut back to back from there)
Yknow i don’t really care much about the ML, but i really don’t want anything to happen between the gangster dude and MC. It feels icky that all these years he’s been professing how much he loves MC’s older brother to both mc and the brother, and then switches up immediately and is like “I actually like you!!” And the confronting of the brother and gangster dude, brother says “you liked mc” and he’s like “no wayy! I don’t like minors!” But blushes and realizes. Like cool, confirmed you had feelings for him since he was a wee boy and you have no shame about pursuing him now. Bro doesn’t give af about how he convinced mc all these years about liking his brother.
Even MC finds it ridiculous and doesn’t give af. I just hope that mc doesn’t change his mind for the nearest other dick around. And gangster dude also doesn’t give af about mc’s feelings either even when mc straight up rejected him. He’s going into delusion territory thinking he can get mc to love him by messing with the red string too. It’s sad because when he was first introduced he had a cool older brother air. But now that he admitted he liked mc all this time, he just gives me the ick, and he seems to be looking more unattractive lately. If I were in mc’s shoes I’d be like “wtf?? You were convinced you like my brother and now me??”
Just came across this and got up to chapter 7. I know the spoilers but was wondering if I would feel bad. Seeing chapter 7+ he proves he’s got this savior complex, typical “I can’t leave her alone” bs. Then is a damn horndog immediately giving in to her seducing him.
HELL NAHHH. GTFO outta here. That’s what he gets LMAOO. Regret what you lost over a hoe, forever prick.

On another note the one thing I like about this FL is how she is so aware and can put proper boundaries. She doesn’t blush at everything another guy does, is smart about how the closeness with another dude can be off, and can reject the guys advances, and also tell her bf right away about a guy confessing to her. It’s sad that that’s become a rare thing for FL’s.
Same with the ML, he doesn’t let a girl help pick out a present for his gf, and doesn’t tell the girl about his relationship worries.

It’s true both FL and ML have flaws and their bad moments and both are pretty jealous ppl, they manage to work it out. This author does a good job of doing that balance. This is how you write conflict without constantly including miscommunication and misunderstandings.
I will say though people hating on the ML are annoying. I would get it if they were mad at him for the arc before they dated. But ML DID put in the effort into their relationship and DID communicate. People’s reading comprehension is low. They say “he knows his acting career is in the way! He should quit!” Which btw he already knew that and straight up talked to FL about it saying he wants to quit because he only did it for her. People forget that FL responded saying she doesn’t want him to quit and pushes him to continue. Even when ML brought up the coworker date situation he felt uncomfortable and was adamant about refusing it but it was FL that pushed him to go on the date.
Bruh this just gets more irritating. So besides the other spoilers already shared below, now they’re at the hospital. And minwoo yet again is annoying as hell. Just before the incident bro was like “I’m gonna be a normal friend!” And even talks to the ML about MC missing. ML is the one that saved MC and beat up the Blondie. Then takes him to the hospital. And of course the sister is there and upset, understandable, that’s her brother. Minwoo, is upset, sure I get it in the moment. But then minwoo is basically trying to prevent them from seeing each other even when he knows MC is pregnant with ML’s baby. ML is pretty chill, he keeps his distance in a way, just watching over MC from afar and waiting until MC lets him be near. MC lets him see the sonogram of the baby and ML is happy at seeing it. But of course minwoo tries to swoop in yet again.
I get the sister not wanting ML around because she has limited info about the situation. But it’s irritating that ML is getting all the blame for this specific incident. Minwoo already knows who’s actually responsible yet he goes on with his belief about “everything is bad since you came into his life!!” I seriously can’t stand possessive/nosy friends who can’t just back off. Just let the damn pair handle their shit bro. It should really only be between the ppl involved in the relationship and family members. Friends are outsiders to this.
This is one of the rare stories where I love the slow burn. But it’s pretty annoying that all people want is to see them fuck. Like pls, if you want smut, go to the hundreds on the main page. This focuses on the relationship development.
And let me just say, as someone who finished the novel, the main mystery arc is over and we are finally moving onto the romance arc. This is the part where they give the sweetness after the long slow burn. People complaining about the backstory and wanting smut scenes need to go goon elsewhere. This backstory is giving insight into their relationship and how it’s really fated in a way. It shows how their actions towards each other from back in high school where they hardly interacted, made a big choice in their future (current life). It also gives context to things that will happen later on. Like heechan’s past with his dad coming back later.
Oh and to give context of what’s happening now, I don’t think ML was in love or liked MC back in high school. I saw some people say “ML liked him all along.” That basically defeated the purpose of slow burn and ML showing he fell for MC in the entire mystery arc. This backstory shows that they both were aware of each other. ML was intrigued and entertained by MC, but that was as far as it went. He didn’t fall for MC until they reunited years later.

To give a tiny bit more info on what I was saying above, ML does help MC out but then he just moves on with his life and is ready to move out of the country. He actually gets mad at something MC said (it was something that influenced him). And then didn’t see MC again, basically forgetting about him over the years. And of course he returns with the cold personality we all know in the beginning. It’s interesting to see how he was more smiley and chill as a kid, but got all cold as an adult. It was likely due to the incident with his injury and pink hair.
Anyways they do have a relationship where they’re down BADDD for each other. I will warn some readers though: ML is not a green forest. That SHOULD have been expected given his suspicious background being all rich and powerful, pulling the strings and making others back down so easily the entire plot. He knows how to plots stuff. (Not psycho territory though, since I saw someone spoil incomplete/inaccurate novel spoilers). Overall he does treat heechan well and heechan is pretty head over heels for him.
Saw a post on tik T0k spreading misinformation again and people are throwing hate towards wooden and seoan. The caption basically said “woowon took off his ring.” And no other context.
The CONTEXT of chapter 91, is that he has a talk with the kid, saying he’ll have to go home and that he can visit them again. He then takes off his socks, wallet, ring, etc. TO SHOWER. And he leaves the room, while the kid looks at the items he left on the table temporarily. Meanwhile Korean comments are worried the kid is gonna touch the ring. Woowon is planning to go back to seoan, and he didn’t take off his ring for any deep meaning. He just went to take a shower lmfao.
People saying go for the bro are weird. They want mc to be passed around in the family or what? That’s a different kind of low. Hope these aren’t the same kinda people that hate on bottoms that sleep around lmfao. And ngl it’s showing what kinda mindsets people have towards their own lovers irl here. That kind of thinking of abandoning your lover at your inconvenience, shows yall will never have a long relationship.
Of course the MC is suffering now, and of course the ML’s personality is an asshole. But yall are so EASY. Whenever minor inconvenience happens to the mc, you want them to sleep around with the next human being with a dick around. I like mc’s personality. Yall can call him a pushover but he’s doing what he wants and chasing his love. It was the ML that chased him first and sought his love in the beginning, while MC accepted it. Now it’s MC chasing. Yall are forgetting the entire reason he got amnesia is because the ML sacrificed himself to protect the MC. Why do you think MC wants ML back so bad? Because ML showed enough love to him that MC believes that he’s worth it. Like I said before, imagine if it wasn’t amnesia and ML got disabled for life or stuck in a coma. Y’all’s choice of wanting MC to immediately leave for his brother would be disgusting fr. Or if the roles were reversed and MC was the one with amnesia, Yall wouldn’t be too happy if ML moved on right away and went for the most convenient booty call.
To leave immediately and go for the brother is gross. Sure let the ML regret when he gets his memories back, cause the damage will be done. But on MC’s part, I hope he never stoops to that low point to go for a family member. MC can be the one that will always have a clear conscience then. Everyone else would have flaws if they went that love triangle route (ML’s brother going for his brothers lover once the opportunity arised, ML regretting because of his amnesia arc, MC getting with ML’s brother)

Anyways personally if it gets too hard the most I’d want MC to do is leave and be independent and have a happy time working on his own life. Not hooking up with the brother. I’m so sick of these baits where I think it’s a story about two characters and the author introduces a 2nd ML love triangle later. I signed up for the angst not another garbage love triangle.
No real spoiler but I’d say it’s a pretty good guess considering the foreshadowing. IM SICK with anxiety over the detective. PLEASE PLEASE tell me he just leaves the couple alone. He got the actual culprit already, why should his revenge continue.
Anyways the chapter where FL is bidding her goodbyes to everyone has her meeting the detective for a chat alone. She’s like “thank you for everything.” And he’s like, “I haven’t done anything. Thanks to you, my revenge, there is a sign it’ll end soon.” She leaves and visits her household to see her dad at the end of the chapter but he’s out.
Now one of the Korean comments pointed out the detective is LEFT HANDED in this chapter, cause he held a drink with his left hand. They previously mentioned the guy who killed her in her past life was left handed.

I BEG don’t ruin his character for meee. He was cool, but doing this would be overkill. This would be the worst betrayal cause he’s been helping them this whole time and NEITHER suspect him at all. It doesn’t help that FL gave her necklace to ML and ML just set it down on a table.
I’m surprised by how many people are in shock that the art has changed. The entire story, the art has been changing lmao.
Anyways it says the artist has been the same exact one since the very beginning. It’s likely that the artist just wanted to experiment with their style and try out things differently throughout the story. I think the current art is pretty. I will say though, my favorite art was the beginning. They had a really unique style back then, especially with drawing the FL’s eyes.
Dang the art is cute and actually makes the hair look good on the ML. I watched the kdrama years ago. I prefer the looks here more, but the plot is straight doo doo. I’ll just save some screenshots and not even bother lmaoo
Reminds me of the game “12 minutes.” Surprisingly the plot is interesting. And ngl his revenge is actually the best cruel revenge he could’ve thought of, taking the dad’s loved one.

It’s a shorter story. The ending is kinda open, there’s still questions yet to be answered. What I’m actually curious about is the dad’s pov, like why exactly he acted that way. And why did is he so cruel to one family while so loving to the other, what made that difference. I don’t even think they went into full detail of the “dangerous work” they do.
Now the ML is messed up. You can definitely see how he ended up that way. He was abused, tortured with several weapons, made to eat like a dog on the floor. Same with his sister. He grew into a version of the dad. So it’s clear that the dad was the source of all the problems. Even the sister was also traumatized like the ML. She don’t give af about ML getting with the FL, she even supported it, as long as the dad was dead. We also don’t get much closure seeing the dad. He just has some heart attack or something and gets pulled away to be hospitalized and that’s it. I would’ve wanted to see more discussion at least between the dad and the ML or the FL. The dad deeply traumatized those siblings and neither got a real good ending. Which ngl I do feel sad/bad about. Cause these siblings were put through suffering only to end up alone. (Obviously FL shouldn’t have had to go through that too).
As for the ending, I’m surprised the ML let her go more than once. But he did show up at the end, to give her a handkerchief, and then walked away. And even when she loved/missed him, she did choose to leave. But I’m still wondering why he’s even there. It feels off that he would just come all that way and hardly do anything. If this ending were really about both of them letting go, it would’ve made more sense for him to let go during that farewell scene, not have him go to the country she’s in and then imply that?
The spider brothers have a sad fate. I don’t know any novel spoilers, only the raws chapters of the falling merman. It said in one of the chapters that the older brother died. And the younger brother got captured and experimented on. Now having to work for a bad organization.

On another note about the art- the artist is always making everyone look so attractive. But I will say they mostly have their ML’s with dark hair. And a lot of the masculine characters look very similar with similar color schemes. It’s why it always confused me even in, In My Closet.

So I honestly thought this was just some quick unhinged stuff but surprisingly the development is very satisfying. Like there’s actual relationship development. The Uke really will do anything for the Seme. Seme is frustrated and hates his dad and wants him to just die- so Uke is like, “I’ll do it for you!!” And proceeds to send him away to a different country with no way of getting back cause they did some documents of changing his nationality. Uke surprisingly didn’t just immediately kill him just cause the dad shared the Seme’s looks. Though the Uke said if Seme really wanted him to go through with killing him, he’d do it. The Uke also encouraged him to act for a play. And also pulled some strings to give him the opportunity to audition even after the audition was over. Surprisingly the Uke is pretty supportive in other ways.
Seme and Uke’s sexual relationship continues obviously cause the Uke would let the Seme do anything to him. Along with how the Seme becomes more tolerant of the Uke. Seme notices how the Uke talks about how cool he is, how he gushes about his acting and acts like a fan, and how he said that he would still be on his side even if the world was against him. The Seme even gets jealous when the Uke gets hugged by the old highschool friend (that Seme bullied).
