FL is also gonna be passed around yet again by 3 men. The author is seriously fucking up their own story probably to milk whatever success they had before. It’s like Peach Girl getting a sequel to only have the same general plot so the author could make more money off of it.
I’m telling yall, if anyone else who finished the original story sees this, DO NOT READ THIS. This is pure garbage and throws EVERYTHING to shit. And this is coming from someone who never says to “don’t read,” because I usually believe ppl should make their own opinions. But this actually ruins everything both about how you see author, the characters, and the plot. I don’t consider this trash canon. Anyways I’m always confused why people go for enemies to lovers plot and like a ship that’s not that. It’s like choosing to read a story about dogs when you only like cats. There’s already hundreds of childhood friend stories everywhere. Their dynamic is so basic. And also the pseudo-incest scenario exists in other stories like in historical manhwas. Like dang I thought ppl knew what they signed up for, I wish the comments were filled with people that actually like good enemies to lovers stories rather than childhood sap tropes.
It’s rare to get a good equal enemies to lovers story. It also feels odd cause she sees him like a brother figure all her life AND has an inferiority complex against him. I personally don’t see any chemistry, especially when she doesn’t have any interest in him that way. She’s not conscious of him at all, and hardly thinks of him like a man.

Anyways a lot of the suffering is caused by both FL and ML. FL at first was threatened and ended up making ML go blind. She took care of him out of guilt. Then when she hid from him, she was stubborn af about not telling him her true identity. She thought “I’ll repent and not tell him so I could get punished.” (Which honestly helped no one and it just made further trauma and guilt for both her and the ML..) She even drank poison which I assume she intended to kill herself, which caused damage and a miscarriage. ML hit her stomach so she didn’t get to fully drink all of the poison. So she was able to survive, but with the cost of the baby. So I don’t wanna hear anyone blaming the ML for “killing their child.” It was actually FL that made that choice by poisoning herself. Though it’s true ML did cause FL to suffer more due to the punishments cause he didnt know her identity.
Now I think ML would have more blame if FL told him the truth and he chose not to believe it. But FL was adamant of not admitting she was rose, so she just made bigger problems for everyone tbh.

Anyways why’s everyone being such a prude and holding one standard for minyoung while not holding that same standard to mc? They’re complaining that he slept with someone else when they’re both single people. They forget about the fact that mc also went and tried to sleep with a stranger too even after reuniting with minyoung (even though it turned out to be minyoung he slept with, his intent was to sleep with someone else too).
Minyoung also let mc go and live his married life for over a decade while still loving him. Yet these virgin/pure addicts want him to be all faithful preserving his body for mc who is set on rejecting him and being with others for years too. People who think single ppl should be faithful and reserved for their crush genuinely make me think they’re the types that love leading others on, just enjoying the feeling of a person adoring them but not giving a shit about dating them. Or like those readers that want 2nd MLs to love MCs forever and never want them to move on.
It’s wild to think the brother has his own story. Especially knowing the info that he wouldn’t mind doing it with a dog and his sibling. Most of the novel spoilers talking about the brother usually just say he’s a fckboy but they never mentioned this part of his mindset going far past morals.
There’s also a story for the parents of chase, and I haven’t heard much about them. But it’s also crazy to think that they had these kids and so many of them turned out to have issues. I genuinely think it would be sad, imagine if you read a story of a couple with a happy ending, and they have kids. And then those kid’s own stories turned out to be messed up.
I feel so bad for haeil, he’s got psycho chicks all around him. He really can’t catch a break. It’s no wonder he turned into a yandere/unstable type when these girls are also insanely pushing their feelings onto him all his life.
And it’s no wonder haeil thinks it’s the blonde dude since blondie clearly didn’t care about pursing the FL even when he thought she’s taken/having a situationship with haeil. So I saw spoilers on social media about the latest chapter. And that trainer dude is talking to blue dude about some more rumors about ML. Something like MLs past with that one rich girl and his ex wife, making their friendship be broken, etc. And blue haired dude of course immediately believes it. He’s like “if that’s the case, I thought I’d stay away since the feeling between ML and Mac are mutual, but now that it seems like ML is just playing with MC, I don’t have any reason to hold back.”
BITCH GTFO. He is such a nuisance and doesn’t give a shit about MC’s feelings at all. MC already rejected him and now he wants to keep pushing. They just came to an agreement to go back to being normal friends, and now blue dude wants to mess it up again with his selfishness. His character is so unappealing. I’m convinced he’s the antagonist by how he doesn’t do anything good and just bothers everyone around him.
So I read some of the novel. And at first it’s a slow build up where there’s no smut, but as soon as they do it for the first time, it flips a switch and it becomes more smut than plot imo. BUT don’t take my word for it because I put it on pause specifically because of that. I think their first time together is good, but after that in novel format, it becomes really repetitive. The author uses the same words like “ferociously” ‘multiple times and I can’t take it serious. Though im sure it’ll be way better in manhwa form because there won’t be repeat description and it’ll all be images lol.
But I guess my only thing is, I enjoy a nice balance of plot/relationship and smut. I mostly dislike it when the smut feels like a mandatory schedule. That’s basically what happened (at least for the short part I read it). It’s one of those things where the ML experiences how good it feels to have sex with the one he likes, and he basically needs to have sex every week. And mc accommodates him by doing a scheduled day a week for sex. I really dislike that feeling where it feels required rather than naturally leading up to when they’re both feeling it. (Reminds me of Lucia tbh) (BUT note that it’s not forced or anything, MC also enjoys it and indulges the ML,,it just bothered me that it focused more on smut back to back from there)
Yknow i don’t really care much about the ML, but i really don’t want anything to happen between the gangster dude and MC. It feels icky that all these years he’s been professing how much he loves MC’s older brother to both mc and the brother, and then switches up immediately and is like “I actually like you!!” And the confronting of the brother and gangster dude, brother says “you liked mc” and he’s like “no wayy! I don’t like minors!” But blushes and realizes. Like cool, confirmed you had feelings for him since he was a wee boy and you have no shame about pursuing him now.
