This was so ass bro. It’s a complete waste of time. Spending 60 chapters of the ML continuously chasing after his first love (his teacher/ex) and then throwing in him accepting the FL’s confession at the very end. It hardly showed him liking the FL. He showed more emotions for his damn teacher. The author did so bad with shoving their relationship to the very end. Development was only ML and FL getting closer and it honestly felt like ML didn’t see her romantically, only as a friend too- until last minute where SHE had to confess to him. There was no scene of realization of feelings he had for her. He just went with the flow, “you like me? Okay sure let’s date.” The end.
And the friend who mutually liked the FL, moving on so quick to a new chick as soon as FL confesses. His reasoning being “I can’t leave this new girl alone.” Put me in a rage fr.
FL was dumb af too supporting the love of the ML and the teacher. I have only pity that she always ended up being second to another girl. With her first crush and with the last, she got left by the first and got the leftovers of affection from the second. FL is the queen of doormats and unrequited love. She’s just stuck chasing after guys who don’t like her as much as she does them.

Man I remember when this was ongoing and everyone hated ray simply caught they liked kile and thought every other character was issuing kile as a replacement. (Basically readers were jealous on kile’s behalf).
But I also remember being like the only one who genuinely loved ray the most and wanted to see his story. Ngl I do like ray better than mc. As well as liking Asher more than Lou. Which basically means I think this would’ve been way more interesting had the main couple been Asher and ray. Ray was just so cool, and ngl Kile reminded me of Bella from twilight. I cringed a lot. It was to the point that I got sick of seeing kile and lou’s lovey dovey scenes.
The reader was spot on saying that readers didn’t like ray’s ending. It just feels off to me. Like ray was such a big part of the story and these characters had such a huge attachment to him but at the very end they were like “okay cool, you’re alive, anyways-!” After Lou and Asher were trying so hard to find ray and save him, ray and Lou didn’t even have a scene speaking to each other after he woke up. It was so lackluster. I didn’t enjoy the casual, “back to normal” time skip, right away.
My only guess as to why it’s written that way is probably cause the author wanted to focus on the main two’s romance in the end.
#-.-)
And also there a part of me that understands wanting ray to be free to do what he likes, but the other part doesn’t understand why he needs to leave everyone solo. It’s no different from how he left them before. I think a more satisfying ending for ray would’ve been for him to finally settle down in a home and meet with friends and stay with family (kile). After running around all over the place and being alone, being hurt, the conclusion is for him to end up alone again?? Plus why bother including the Asher and ray relationship in the first place if you were just gonna have them separate??? I really wish ray would’ve gotten his side story. But from how the author wanted him dead originally, I guess the author doesn’t care as much about ray’s story.
I also feel like Asher should’ve had a bigger part too. With him being on the cover, creates a misunderstanding that he’d be a huge influence in the story. But a lot of times it felt like he was just a side character and wouldn’t even have much screen time.
(I only saw the previews of the future chapter and not the full chapters + used machine translate- so don’t quote me on this)
So looks like arahata (hair over eyes/mole dude) explained that the bj incident was because he drunkenly mistook kiyo (older bro) as Fumi (younger bro). Meaning he thought he was sucking off fumi during the event. What’s wild is not only glasses guy saw that happen but Fumi did too (they both peaked through the door and saw what happened at the same time).
The thing is both brothers seem to say “my brother stole the person I liked.” No kidding that BOTH said it about each other. The funny thing is that both were incorrect about that. So Fumi asked glasses dude to go out with him back then, and Kiyo liked glasses dude. Glasses dude is kiyo’s first love. Kiyo mistakenly believed they went out and gave up and distanced himself. So Kiyo was thinking “my brother stole my first love.” Then that bj event and Fumi says the same “my brother stole my first love.”
-
My honest opinion is I think mole guy and fumi were kinda more in the wrong? Fumi always seemed to blame his brother for being more popular while Kiyo doted on his brother. I just think Fumi doesn’t give af and does what he wants and will confess to whoever he likes regardless of whether he thinks his brother likes the same person. And the mole dude also is odd for not clearing things up about what happened with Kiyo right away. Why didn’t he talk to him as to why he sucked his dick?? I also don’t think being involved with one brother after you gave a bj to the other, is a good idea, no matter if he had feelings for fumi in the first place.
So saw the raws on b&TO. And it was chill for 4 volumes, nothing big happened. It was pretty smooth sailing with their relationship development and the teacher wasn’t an actual obstacle to them getting together. Then came the fifth and final volume. It’s like the author wanted to ruin their manga for the sake of cramming in drama in the final arc and then resolving it like crap.
Basically ML and FL are at a festival and are having fun, then run into the teacher. The ML immediately just wants to leave and the teacher tries talking to him but falls down the stairs and gets injured/knocked out. He immediately lets go of the FL’s hand, calls out “eri!” (Her name) and runs to her. Then proceeds to go with her in the ambulance and leave FL behind. He also doesn’t answer any of the FL’s calls afterwards and then finally his first text is “teacher is safe.” Then he shows up at school to talk to FL, and of course the typical “I gotta take responsibility” bullshit. Saying that the teacher is really injured and even has amnesia, and that she has no one else to take care of her cause her parents are gone too. FLs like “how long will you take care of her? Forever if she doesn’t get her memory back?” He apologizes a lot and leaves (basically a break up).
He basically takes care of the teacher and thinks of his past of how they met and even got together. Which btw if you didn’t think it was bad enough that she’s a highschool teacher who dated her student, she met him when he was in middle school and she was his tutor. (I believe she was a college student at that time). He thinks of how during that time she was a comfort to him cause his mom died and he was going through a dark time in his life. So now he feels like he has to be the one to comfort her during her hard time. Anyways as this is all happening there’s a rival and of course ML is upset seeing the rival and FL being close. He’s sad, etc. Then the teacher gets back her memories after like a month, and you know the first thing she does? She confesses that she still loves ML. So if it wasn’t bad enough that she knows it ain’t right she still wanted to continue the relationship. Anyways ML rejects her saying that he used to like her and she accepts it telling him she knows he likes someone else now and to go to her.
The issue gets resolved when he runs to FL and sees the rival almost kiss FL but stops him. Then ML confesses his feelings for FL, talking about how he promises to do this and that. Rival easily backs off and leaves them to talk. And she cries and takes the ML back. Then there goes the scenes of them smiling and graduating. So the issue and resolution all happens in 5 chapters. No groveling from the ML other than being sad when he was apart from FL seeing her hang out with the rival. FL didn’t give him a hard time either and easily accepted him. But yknow what else can you expect from the textbook cliche shoujo manga. This reminds me of that one manga that got uploaded to w3bto0n with a similar premise (ML exes with teacher), and it spent like 100 chapters of ML still loving the teacher to the end, while the FL catches feelings for him at one point and she’s just supporting his love. Then at the very end when ML and the teacher finally get closure, FL confesses and ML just smiles, open ending. So no progress and a waste of time.
So I saw the raws and surprisingly the mc isn’t really upset over what happens in the next chapter. It more-so seems like he’s basically discovered that he enjoys the treatment (has actual heart eyes and all).
So I started this story cause I was bored and thought it’d be a simple read to pass the time. What I didn’t expect was to be so entertained the entire story that I read it all in one sitting, just clicking next chapter each time. The FL is entertaining and the FL and ML’s relationship is fun. I do think after the first season, the pacing got a bit fast. And even faster in the final chapters leading up to the ending.
Mention of spoilers (some of this contains parts talking about the second season, so if you haven’t caught up to the translated parts and don’t wanna know, don’t read):

So the rushed parts id see is when it came to FL and ML’s confession scenes. It was a rollercoaster cause one moment FL would be like “no I won’t show my feelings” then the next moment she suddenly confesses, then the next moment she is hesitating and avoiding him to accept his confession due to thinking about handling dating a celeb, and then accepts his confession right after. And then the ML also doing the same. I think the ML’s confession was sudden and came out of nowhere, it happened so casually when he was struggling to accept it before. I would’ve liked it if there was a scene where he was thinking about his feelings before the confession, that way it’d connect and the readers could tell it would lead up to him wanting to confess. Not like how he listened to FL reject him and then the next chapter he confesses right away without any reader seeing into his thoughts thinking he’d do that. These were just some of the things I wish were paced better, but overall it wasn’t bad to read and still light hearted since they resolved things quickly.
Now onto future untranslated chapters:

A lot happens in just 8 chapters up to the ending, and I honestly think this is the most rushed part. It’s like all the issues came to a resolution one after another right up to the ending. It all was resolved so easily while also adding all the most dramatic parts at the end. Like there were 3 big issues and they all were resolved at once. I think it would’ve been better had the problems been solved over time throughout the story. Cause shoving all the resolutions at the end makes it feel rushed. Like the conclusion of the FL’s ex finished in like 2 chapters, all on its own. The issue with FL’s mom was resolved in a single chapter, which was kinda lacking since it was supposed to be a final reuniting/confrontation with her mom but it ended so quick with FL just saying she didn’t want to see her and the mom was like “ok bye!” Though I do like how it added in info about the dad in that part and the reveal.
Then the issue with the ML’s ex and brother. The ex situation escalated to a point I didn’t expect and also got resolved on its own with ML not even talking to her. The last time he actually saw her was the time she brought him food (never got that thermos back), which was a shame cause I really wanted him to have a final confrontation with her. She was a lot crazier than I thought. And the brother situation was resolved on its own too without ML actually doing much.
This all happens in the last chapters:
-scandal about mc
-car accident/murder plot
So two of those scheming girls used these opportunities to ruin FL. The idol chick FL’s ex is seeing tried to expose the history of FL dating the ex. And the ML’s ex also did the same thing and tried to make the scandal about ML and FL, that failed so she participated in scheming murdering FL. This all was resolved within 2 chapters each (maybe less than that). I think it would’ve better had it been written to lead up to that. Like adding in hints of how crazy the ML’s ex is or that she was plotting to do something. It’s like the plans or hints happened off screen and the results occurred on screen. It came outta nowhere. But despite what looks like way too many complaints, I still enjoyed the characters and story. It’s a light read and funny.
I think the art changed a bit
╥﹏╥
It’s especially apparent when the ML is front facing and his face is so much smaller, eyes bigger, and his chin is so pointy while his neck looks thin. If you compare how he looked in season 1 he looks way better then. Like chapter 31 for example. His neck at least fit where the jaw is- a neck thinner than where the jaw connects looks odd. The art became more simple. I believe the art started changing around chapter 54. His head started shrinking around that time. It isn’t bad when there’s close ups though
I’m seeing a theme here that’s funny and so different from how it used to be. It’s all the same MC’s bf/ex turned bad when he used to be sweet before. Readers who read, “10 years where I loved you the most” all hated the bf/ex to the end and acknowledged he was a bad guy, never believing he could change or wished he went back to how he used to be. Now newer stories come out with a similar situation and readers have hopeful thinking the bf/ex could change or wished he’d stayed the same based on those good memories. Take this story for example and the straight story, “tears on a withered flower.” It is pretty crazy how different the readers thoughts are in comparison to those who read 10 years where I loved you the most.” The funny thing is, the ex/bf does WORSE in this story and TOAWF compared to the other story, but people love them more.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I’m convinced that people also are like those MC’s who are in denial and get swept off their feet only on the good memories in the past, rather than care more about all the bad things they’ve down and how the character is now.
I honestly think the concept and the two main characters are cute. But I can see why people complain about the lack of chemistry. I honestly think it comes down to the art. Apparently those who read the novel said the chemistry was better there. I think the artist has a pretty art style but I can see where their strength and weakness is. Their strength is making beautiful faces and their weakness is anatomy/body posing. Now props to the artist because in general anatomy is like one of the top hardest things to work on. But it’s true that it’s hard to ignore in this manhwa. When looking at close up art on their faces, it looks perfectly fine. But when there’s a panel showing the torso and arms, it looks awkward and their bodies look smaller. It’s very apparent when the ML and FL stand next to each other and you’re looking at their side profiles.
Along with the intimate skinship such as hugging, the art of the bodies look stiff and comes off as awkward which many believe is the source of it looking like there’s no chemistry and looks unnatural. Like chapter 88 when ML is holding her cheek and has a hand on her waist, there’s so much space and his right arm is non-existent. Chapter 90, when they’re hugging each other you can see their bodies look off. And when he has her hand on her shoulder in another panel, FL’s body shrinks and her arms look so much tinier. Anyways I’m not trying to bash the artist, I’m just pointing out details as to why the art may giving off stiffness and that can rub off onto the feel of the character’s relationships. I still give props to the artist since making a comic is hard work and exhausting, I don’t expect superior art and consistency in every single panel. It’s the reason why so many smaller authors/artists on w3 b to0ns discontinue their work, it’s a draining and stressful job lol.
Just started reading this (only on chapter 2 rn) and ngl I’m pretty tired of the dumb af mom trope. Her logic is so stupid. She’s crying over the fact that she chose to leave him in order not to hurt him knowing she doesn’t have long to live- but she also proceeds to directly hurt him anyways by leaving??? He’s hurt both ways no matter what. She also doesn’t think about the awful situation she put her child in by leaving and knowing damn well, dragons don’t accept humans/getting together with humans. She KNEW she didn’t have long to live but chose to go to a dangerous environment shunned by her kind for her kid. So she basically was ready to leave her kid there. She made the situation way worse by making that bad impression on the father, and thus already making a rift between father and child both in bad understandings and no relationship for years. She basically created an even bigger problem for everyone just to die and leave the problem for everyone else to solve. I honestly think an interesting plot would to have those “run away mother” survive and actually face the consequences of how dumb their decisions are. Also be lectured by their own kid for their stupidity. Like GIRL you are part of the issue for your failure in relationship.
I couldn’t find anymore chapters on this but according to Baka updates, this is a complete 3 chapter volume? It was made back in 2017. Apparently it continues in another series under a different title named: Undergrand Hotel: Spell on You. Started in 2024. The status says there’s 6 volumes and that the focus is now on Sen’s POV of this situation. There’s no translation though.
I can already tell that the police won’t be called and the stalker won’t go to jail simply because mc tries to understand and be friends with the stalker after the stalker talks about their feelings and cries and supposedly turns over a new leaf.
(⌒▽⌒)
At this rate mc may be a shoujo FL that treats everyone with kindness lmao
It’s pretty funny how on tt there’s two groups that think differently about this manhwa. One group that hyped this story up by talking about it and making edits. And the other group that’s absolutely enraged at seeing the hype and proceeded to trash this story while comparing it to several regular romance manhwas. Literally saw a post rating manhwa and they put all historical romance manhwa highly, and added this single manhwa at the end rating it low. It’s no wonder since they keep trying to compare regular fluffy romance to a SMUT. They’re like “this story is trash! I read quality content like veil and other beautiful historical manhwa!!”
Looks like they’re changing and adding more conflict into the manhwa than what was originally in the novel. I can see why since it’s possible some novel readers may have thought the story is too light and has little actual conflict, but I’m also conflicted because I didn’t mind it having little conflict. It stood out that way compared to other stories that used drama as their main source to keep readers entertained.
The black haired saintess was NEVER a problem at all in the novel. She was hardly involved with the main characters and was more like a side character whose info of her ending was thrown in at the end. It was never relevant and never caused any problem for the FL. I don’t even remember the saintess having a thought about sabotaging anything going on between blondie and FL because FL was always finding ways to get away from him anyways. It feels like they’re adding more interactions between blondie and FL to make blondie worse than he already was in the novel. In the novel blondie was delusional and annoying asf but he was tame by simply being delulu and clingy until near the end where he got more pushy and stepped over boundaries. He’s getting pushier sooner in the manhwa. Also they added more scenes of Kylo and blondie fighting here with that watching play scene, and added the revised scene of FL going with blondie instead when she originally went with Kylo to the ball in the novel.
There’s really no point in hiding that she’s actually a girl. Her mother’s reasoning for lying about the MC’s gender was simply because she was afraid she’d attract danger for being favored by the emperor for being his only daughter. But that point literally is shown as the emperor favors the mc openly already yet nothing happened. Even the mom admitted that it should be time to reveal the truth soon.
It’s the fact that everyone excluding the mom knows the actual truth and everyone truly believes mc is a boy but just looks cute dressed as a girl and lets it be.
Dang B&TO readers are insufferable. I tried reading it over there and they somehow blamed the ML and bashing him for what happens in the first two chapters. They were mad he was upset at the thought of her being with many men before and thinking she’s like a slut. But she fr made him think that way by immediately initiating sexual stuff with him in the office and saying she has been with many dudes. He didn’t even think that way until after she purposefully acted like that. And they’re blaming him for thinking about it. Despite this literally being the role reversal of those other FLs who feel anxious when thinking about the playboy MLs past. They just hate the man at this point no matter what he does.
I might have missed something so correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t remember seeing a reason for why Dia is so adamant about believing her own father will kill her. It just doesn’t make sense to me? I don’t remember seeing any signs he had that intent. And logically it also doesn’t benefit him in any way, if anything it would be a loss for him. Because he doesn’t have any other child to take over, so losing his only heir/daughter would be a loss. And the fact that he believes his daughter is useful by marrying her off and connecting the families, so why would he give that up by killing her?
Anyways I don’t feel bad for dia. She made her own choices that way. She admitted it that she didn’t trust eiser enough. She physically couldn’t even TALK to him and see him when he struggled. So he was there for her when she was getting high on drugs through a rough time but the moment he goes through something she couldn’t do the same and was too focused on herself. My question is, if she had gotten her goal by marrying victor with her family situation and was successful would she be as unhappy and unsatisfied? I’m convinced she’s only acting like this now because she failed in decision making and it didn’t go well for her. I believe if she successfully reached her goal using victor she would be very satisfied and content with her decision (but still greedy for more once she sees eiser happy without her). I also wonder if eiser had not become successful and was still at at a low point in his life and was weaker than victor, would she even bother considering staying or going back to him? Or she only wants to be with him now BECAUSE of the addition that he’s successful?
