Interesting to find out that ML is a virgin. He mainly just let those women touch/kiss him at most but never let them go farther. In a way he dislike their behavior as they treat him like some sort sex doll because of his commoner status, like they can use him whenever. I also realize that ML and FL are similar in the way they’re treated by their family. Both are treated badly by their own family. Though ML wasn’t aware of how FL’s family treated her.
A lot of the people who spoiled on the novel do not describe him as red flag and make it a point that they believe he isn’t one. He’s not exactly green but they compare him to be similar to carcel from that other manhwa. (Not the overall personality, just the beginning part). There was a bunch of info on the series of events in the story but there wasn’t that much detail when it came to the FL and ML getting together. It was a very short summary at that part specifically.
I genuinely think this story reached the wrong audience. There’s a bunch of manhwas where the mc is a bottom who is the same situation where he’s stuck in this toxic relationship and can’t get over his complicated feelings while the ml is pushing himself into his life. And everyone supports the mc on those manhwas. But no one can understand it here because they baby the mc and see every character in black and white.
Literally LOOK at Love or Hate fandom and it’s the same dynamic. Yet everyone loves the mc there, understands his struggle, while also gets upset at the love interest that’s aware of his feelings for someone else and still pushes for a relationship.
I honestly just want them to be happy together. I’d say the ending is bitter sweet. Still kinda an open ending and it basically looks like a cycle will be repeated. At the very least I’m glad they’re together even if it’s not the best happy ending it could’ve gotten.
Looks like the series is back for part two. Apparently part two of the story is shorter than part one. And it also looks like it’s finally the arc where it’s all wholesome and sweet family moments. The son is going to school now and their second child was born. A daughter named, ivy. Even the situation with Benjamin (the brother) is chill now.

Anyways on another note I saw the raws and my opinion is:
I have a feeling both ML and 2nd ML aren’t really “good guys.” ML is self-explanatory. Sure the 2nd lead gives off puppy-type nice guy vibes. But from the raws, personally the 2nd lead comes off as pushy. It’s like he’s also horny 24/7. It doesn’t help that mc seems EXTREMELY naive and easily gives into pleasure. MC literally is happy to have a sleepover with his first friend, laying on the bed on his phone, and 2nd lead over here is getting horny, helping himself to his own desires, and chose to hump him over his clothes reminding me of what a dog does. Then chapter ends with him starting to pull mc’s pants off.

I KNOW ppl are gonna be mad and be like “author ruined his character!” Or something but I honestly think that’s a black and white way of thinking. People assume 2nd lead is a purely nice guy, and don’t think that a character can have flaws and not be perfectly good. So they can’t accept it when their “angelic/favorite” is “changed” when in actuality, everything about character hasn’t been revealed yet. Anyways pairing an mc that’s both naive and easily succumbs to pleasure with two love interests who know of this fact and use it to their advantage, is bound to be a bad mix. Feels like this is about to be secret relationship or yours to claim pt 2 smh.
Alright so my suspicion has been heavily hinted/confirmed. They’re eventually gonna force MC to MATE with his ex mihee to create some ultra being. Typical fan service bull.

Like others said, I also hate it when a random side character all of a sudden gets op in a single chapter. They really made the ex OP instantly and threw her in there. Rather than having the ex as one of the op antagonist I would’ve rather kept the purple haired chick instead as a supporting villain. Not this nonsense new character. Villains are only intimidating when they’re built up throughout the story. Not when they’re just randomly thrown in later. Honestly if it were me, going by this logic- It’d be smarter to join breeder’s side, gain OP af powers and then run back to the good side, so you can get the benefits.
And ALSO what is it with this author making their female lead characters supposedly be important to the mc/plot but also a damsel in distress?? While also making every other girl the mc has relations with way more OP?? They did this in lilith’s cord and they did it again here. Can we not have an equally op FL to match or does she have to be weaker for the ML to show his heroism?

I’m actually sick of the prosecutor’s screen time. I’m just rereading and feeling comforted at mc and the white haired dude’s moments, cause him being gentle with mc is soo cute. I need more of THEM. Sadly we’re either getting more of the prosecutor or the side couple (I don’t hate the side couple btw, just not that interested. I actually am more interested in the other couple who has a baby)

Despite this being the sad moment where MC is at his lowest, not being trusted by someone he wanted to be protected by- this makes me happy that the story is finally progressing. Cause so far there’s been no actual development after 40+ chapters, whether that’s the ML’s personality or the situation with the brother. It feels like the brother’s plans were simply put on hold, during the fake relationship arc and was just waiting until it was unpaused so it could actually get anywhere.
With their relationship not actually getting any development, it was actually just holding mc back even further.
I think it was good until the jealousy part. It’s one thing to be secretly happy your partner got jealous over you, and it’s another thing to purposely make your partner jealous. Personally, that would be grounds for breaking up lmfao. I hate my feelings being played with like that and it just makes me feel embarrassed and awful. I don’t have any time for playing games like that, and would just find someone else who actually wouldn’t want to make me feel that way.

Usually when people get humbled, the person feels embarrassed and it hits home- but seoin gave no fcks lmfao. To me it felt like Taegu was trying to throw jabs at him that deflected and didn’t work at all. If anything, it felt like Taegu was the one that humbled himself, because he realized he’s a hypocrite for what he said “you don’t deserve to be around yeongwoon.”

This was definitely not the ending I was expecting. And now I’m just sad.

Like I know they both were definitely not the best people, it just went- both people kinda got their karma and then got worse. I think I would’ve been happy even if they never got together and went their separate ways. But not THIS. Just the whole “getting hope trope” finally, and then it being crushed in an instant is SO SAD. I definitely don’t think he deserved that. I honestly can’t tell which would be sadder, a character getting killed off screen or a character getting killed on screen and showing them just laying there seeing their last thoughts. I personally think it’d be less sad if we did get to see his last moments- cause then I’d feel some sort of closure. But since we saw it from her POV it really hits hard how unbelievable and sudden it is.
So I’m currently reading the novel and I honestly recommend reading the novel chapters while also reading the manhua side by side. The manhua cuts out details and sometimes changes things. It also helps you understand what’s going on better lol.
So far I’m starting from the beginning so Chapter 5 of the manhua is the same as Chapter 6 in the novel. And in the scene of Rimbaud eliminating the other team members, in the manhua is shortened and he just kills them by grabbing their necks. In the novel, it’s described he breaks the neck of one guy and the other he throws in the air and stabs him in the back with the blade they planned to use on him. So it seems like it’s more explicit in the novel lmaoo.
I’m only on chapter 5 rn but so far I like the little attention to detail in the art.
Examples:
When the blood got all over seongjae’s clothes, it was bright red at first but later on the color turned to a brown, showing actual dried blood. Most artists I see in comics keep the blood bright red even after time has passed.
The hair of mc flowing down the side of his face as he’s laying on his side on the hospital bed. Usually artists keep their hair in the exact same position.
The slight reddening at the end of mc’s eyes after crying
I honestly want to see more of Abel. It seems like it’s mainly focusing on the main couple’s daughter and their son is nearly nonexistent lmao.
Also is it just me, but even though it’s hinted that the wing with the healing powers is matched with the ML’s brother- idk I just don’t like the pairing that much. Maybe it’s cause I never really liked the girl cause out of all the wings, she saw the FL’s abuse and didn’t really give af, then when she’s taken in, she’s suddenly turned a new leaf.
