They’re so adorable, I love the office romance trope. I just love adult romances and their dynamic is so adorable cuz it’s like their brain shuts off lmao.
It was pretty good for a short story. Not too deep which I mean makes sense considering it’s less than 30 chapters. It was cute too, they’re both incredibly dumb but in an adorable way.
However, the second hand embarrassment was making me want kneel over and die.
I loved how much Kieth genuinely wanted First. It was my favorite to see the unrequited love become slowly requited.
I clench my fist and curse any higher being out there, whenever I see a fine ass man in a suit who’s a hard worker that’s muscular or cute. It’s a dying genre and it’s not being persevered and this just reminded me of that cruel reality.
Aside from the jokes - they’re so cute! I love how realistic and healthy they felt. The little semi fight they had in the beginning, if you can even call it that, was dealt with so healthily. It was nice seeing the chief take into account his own personality and his past experiences/mistakes. I liked that despite it also being his first relationship, the bottom didn’t come in completely unprepared either. It was really sweet the way their relationship progressed. Adult romances r the best,,,, specifically office romances too.
I love angst. Love love love it. And the is plays soooooooo well into it. Has its fair share of traumas OF COURSE IT DOES. It’s so crafty.
Every once in a while throughout reading multiple BL manhwas you’ll get the gems.
ILL SAY THIS NOW - they love each other so much. I am so so fucking soft. I’ve never seen so much softened in a relationship.
To start off, the plot is instantly engaging. You do not get bored within the beginning, middle, or end. The mystery with the chief is enthralling as it is confusing as you go along with the ML as to what is going on, and then when you get to the WHAT, it’s still so good.
The characters are so good too, not one person left a bad taste in my mouth (besides maybe the second chief and even he somewhat was helpful at the end). No toxicity and nothing to really complain about. They were well fleshed out and executed nicely.
AND THE LOVEE GOD I WAS CRYING, they loved each other so much it was so sweet. Everything they did for each was just so adorable. I loved it sm.

The story was the cutest fucking thing, somehow one of them grew into a giant by the end of it and the fox stayed a fox and somehow almost fucking died??? Idk I’m too tired to even make a proper review on this but - Crazy ride that was too adorable.

And then I saw the chapter count and I was like, damn we still got either a lot of a side story or a 2nd couple…
Well I was not expecting dickwad to be the ML of the 2nd couple, but I should’ve and tbh, his in depth approach was done really well. He evidently had way more going on than the 1st couple so it made sense that the 2nd couple’s story was longer. 1st couple just had miscommunication issues.
2nd couple had big money issues with a bitch brother and a short ugly fucker father. Add that with all that he did and his issues dealing with his emotions, it makes for a really good story.
Now something PERSONAL and v lil gripe, all my own feelings entirely baseless and not taking away from the story and how good it was - GOOODD I KNOW HE DID THEM DIRTY, but if ur gonna have a second couple at least make them friends?
I was so disappointed when I read the author notes to know the 1st couple cut him off after the TV thing with seems slightly out of character for them considering they literally had a whole communication thing going on.
And also, he should’ve at least apologized.
I just like when the side couples r like… relevant to the entire story. It’s just sad to cut off one couple for the other, I’ve always liked when they’re all friends so we can see them like a cameo.
Sincerely so used to the toxic MLs that I was waiting for Jones to be some messed up alpha or like not when messed up, just mean in some sense, but I was so pleasantly surprised he’s just a chill dude.
Glad to see him sharpen up a bit too for Lyle’s sake.
Overall the story was great too, entirely pleasant and I like the stake being the miscommunication cuz it makes sense that two emotionally inept people (chill dude X closed off dude) would be incapable of communicating until some internal realization takes place.
They’re relationship progressed so nicely afterwards it’s so cuteeeee.

Ok I’ll start by saying I did finish to where we are story wise and I did like it to some extend but - Their personalities aren’t upped to like 10, and not in a good way.
The professor is just straight up unbearable. He cannot for the life of him hold a conversation about what he wants, it’s like they slapped the 35 years on him without holding any conviction of him actually being an adult. He constantly lashes out, constantly retracts, and is just overall breaking up with the puppy top over stupid shit again and again and again. Like he’s giving ME whiplash from the amount of times he does it in the fucking 90+ chapters there is.
Every damn second, “let’s break up” “let’s stop seeing each other” INSTEAD OF CONVERSING LIKE AN ADULT??? Nah take 15 years off RN.
Secondly the puppy top. He’s too fucking pushy. He’s like begging so much at some point it’s just sad. Not only that but he pushes the professor too much into doing things he doesn’t wanna do. NO MEANS NO. Aside from that idk his age but he behaves his age at the v least. A fucking idiot too.
These two should not be in a relationship, as entertaining as it is.
When they’re not breaking up every ten seconds the story is p solid ig.
Im disappointed, and it has such a good premise. This story is choppy and has a horrible story writing pace that makes it jump all over the place.
It truly felt unorganized and uncoordinated, which was SUCH A SHAME since it was really cute if you could read past it. Some moments are better told than others and u get a clearer picture, but this just wasn’t it. It felt like a story being told by AI if I’m being frank.
If anyone knows of another story with a similar premise and better narrative telling I’d appreciate the recommendations.

And when I say that it is horribly written, I’m saying PERSONAL opinion.
“Horribly” is a strong word, but sincerely it is jumpy - as in the story is at one point and then a completely different point - and choppy - as in you missed an entire plot line. They’re trying to rush to get to their favorite points but miss so much critical info while at it.
Art, story, narrative, direction, all was really well doneee. I loved all of it. It sometimes didn’t even feel like a BL due to the plot, but it was just that good.
And when the romance in there was so subtle at first, but he’s so interesting.
I think my one complaint was that though, it’s like whoa bro where did you even start to fall for him or vice versa? But tbh after they added the romance it wasn’t to its detriment either way.
And it made me cry with the friends :( genuine tears, felt so bad for the ML.
Well, idk what to say honestly, sometimes finishing stories to give an honest opinion comes at a detriment.
He was a jerk the entire time, but like… what a particular way to teach him why what he was saying was ignorant.
Was a lil confused at first with the two black haired guys, but then it became clearer who the ML was.
NGL, big fan of the crazy BUT CARING guys, like the distinct difference between the abusive vs the obsessive towards the end was nice. So sad it was cut off that way though, left me feeling like it needed an epilogue AT THE V LEAST.
Another thing: I did not care about the side couple. I was SO glad that they did not go into depth with it, though I do sort of wish they would’ve wrapped it up tho.
The beginning was a lil rough ngl, but once you get past a certain point it was good. I think the major thing was that it wasn’t as “high” stake as some other stories are, but that is actually ok.
To some it might ruin the story since I didn’t think the uncle wouldn’t not leave the thrown the the nephew not once, cus he had no on else to leave it to. However, it’s nice if you’re not looking for something to stress over too much. Their romance was also nice, nothing too high strung either, they’re v superficial characters.
If they say they’re in love then they’re in love. The dragon was easily swayed by the prince but the prince was a good guy becuz he was a good guy. There was no hidden motives nor nothing. No secret villains, no extra stakes, just them moving with their relationship as a prince and a dragon with a slight power struggle (if we’re being honest the uncle just being a dick until his death).
It was ok.
This was kind of hard to get through, ngl I had to speed this. It was just badly written, it didn’t lack anything per se but the writing lacked so much.
No death felt meaningful even with the characters having been there for longer.
Each character felt 2 dimensional.
The glazing got each emotion killed me.
The plot (again it was there) just jumped so fast.
And then the characters. Lil devil dude was probably the most bearable, but every other character was just… no. And that’s cuz I’m trying to find anything to redeem here.
You could say he was arrogant to protect himself for a while and then he fell in love which seems in character for him.
But every other character just jumped ship from what their personality was. I COULD NOT stand it.
The moms switch up fucking pissed me off, don’t get me wrong she can love her son, but she should’ve stuck to her fucked up warped love and the fact she just “op my son loves, might as well tone it down” and then dies.
It’s ranty sorry, I can’t even give it a proper thought tbh.
Yo I see some hate for my boy, sodam, not cool.
Yes he’s irrational in some turns but cmon he’s literally conditioned to be like that by the top.
He literally has no one to fall back on in the story at the time it takes place. He has no friends and no family. Sodam literally states himself many times that H is literally the only one he has, and he lacks so much confidence in himself becuz he thinks the other is literally leagues above him. He also made himself to accept the S&M play becuz he’s AFRAID at first of being left.
Aside from that his kindness is not of detriment to his character; his fear of rejection and loneliness is how he manages to stay kind and smiling in spite of his situations.
If anything the biggest flag is the top in this story who need some SERIOUS fucking therapy, there’s no way we just breeze past every fucked up thing he did and thought. He holds himself back to an EXTENT but even then the grooming of Sodam is insane. There’s so many things he did to get sodam where he wanted, and yet by the end of the story we r all just chill with it.
Sodam deserved better.
