BUT because they are high schoolers, that's be where they'd possibly be confused and questioning their sexuality. And I do agree that Mikuni was probably questioning if he did like Kogawa / a male partner, and it would've hurt Kogawa down the road if Mikuni realized he was straight. (But he blushed and almost kissed Kogawa so I think he liked him at least more than friends.)

In chapter 2 when Mikuni and Kogawa were talking on the roof at school Kogawa said "how would you feel if I said I liked you" and Mikuni replied "I would be happy". Then Kogawa said "What about kissing me?" Then Mikuni leaned in ready to kiss him. To break it down when Mikuni said he only like the girl as a friend not really romantically so he wasn't really happy when she confessed but the thought of Kogawa confessing made him feel happy.
In retrospect Mikuni liked Kogawa more then a friend at that moment but I'm sure with Kogawas rejection he took it as though he didn't feel the same.

I guess "overlooked" is a good wording, yes. Though it isn't because he's hot, it's because the manhwa has kind of set rough sex up as their thing. I acknowledge what it is, but "overlook" it because i know it isn't even going to be a pebble in their relationship. Bum is obsessed with Sangwoo, to the point that he's happy just being fucked by Sangwoo, it has shown this. Remember when the manhwa teased us into thinking Sangwoo was fucking Bum, but then Bum turned around and it was a dildo? He was hurting there, but was happy because he thought Sangwoo was actually fucking him. Same with how his ass was bleeding recently and he wouldn't sit, he hides it because he's happy just being fucked by Sangwoo. Sangwoo doesn't even know what he's done to Bum yet, Bum was his 1st guy so he has no experience and Bum hasn't been complaining. This was just more of the same and it really only happened because Sangwoo got horny, which means Bum won here.

this story was AMAZING in the beginning. i was really invested in kyon/lucaon’s relationship but now i feel like it’s been pushed to the side and forgotten. i really wish i was able to see more of their development.

Yes, I loved Lucaon and Kyon, their love story was brilliantly done, it was dark, painful, a lot of suspense, loved it.
After they moved out to the other estate I lost track and don´t really feel like reading the rest.
