I wonder if this will develop into real BL one day because at first it definitely had a real BL vibe to it with the addition of action, but the universe seemed more 'unrealistic' if that makes sense. Now the story/universe overall is more on the realistic side but very concentrated on blurred lines bromance/shipping. So I wonder how this will turn out in the long run? Will it continue like this, or will they get together in an unrealistic very oldschool BL way with no question of sexuality, or will there be a realistic coming out moment or hint to it? I'm excited but it's gonna be 300 more episodes till we're going to find out

Eh sorry but you can be homosexual and real. We are real lol
I know it’s not what you mean but the way you phrase it just bugs me. The world in this manhua hasn’t changed one bit. Remember how Jian Yi struggled with his feelings for his best friend? Because he knows the world is a cruel place. (I know it’s not the main reason but his world view unconsciously shaped his actions, similar to what ours do to us). On top of that, no gay person is “gay” all the time on the surface. We are just humans.

Uuuuuh have you forgotten the whole arc with Jian Yi struggling with his sexuality and feelings towards Xixi ? Him crying his eyes out because of it ? Him confessing ? Xixi thinking about it and answering it with a forehead kiss ?
(or Xixi drawing them under an "ai ai gasa" which is something where you draw yourself and your lover/crush, them hugging while promising to stay together ? ....)
Anyone actually looking at them can tell they're (unofficially?) together, not everyone needs to scream "I'm gay and dating him" to be gay, and especially in china it's not something they can be proud or loud about.

To whoever is uploading this atm: The mature version is on tapas now, it's right under the mature section at the top. Thank you so much for uploading!

Here on mangago it is the mature version till chapter 32! The previous uploader decensored it using the raws. But the new uploader is uploading the censored tapas version I think because it's not as graphic as it used to be, no lightsabers etc. I can't check because the raw link doesn't work for me anymore ;; But tapas launched the mature version a week ago so maybe we will get to see some smut scenes again.

This whole story is definitely weird and "spooky cringy" but the plot is pretty predictable and i don't think it's gonna be super tragic. I bet everything on Hanbit paying Wooyeon to move in with Junwoo and play his boyfriend so Junwoo can forget about Hanbit and Hanbit can live alone in peace. And then Junwoo is gonna find out and it's probably gonna take him back to his past or something like that but Wooyeon is gonna tell him he really loves him now and found him cute from the beginning on and they gonna reconcile yada yada yada
Also, the sex scenes are hot... but I can't get into it at all because the situation and characters are so weird and there is nothing really between them. And probably also because of the first chapter when Junwoo still was a full-on shut-in and would jerk off in his dirty room all day long while wearing the same outfit all day everyday (which he still does) so I still kinda associate him with bad hygiene

Wooow we didn't get no development for such a long time and now everything's happening so fast in like 2 chapters... YuYang's introspection is kinda missing here (even tho we know he of course is regretting it, duh). I thought the comment section would point that out but everyone just seems excited about LiHuan and YuYang finally being in the same place at the same time again The new chapters are still a bit "clumsy" but I feel like DJUN got that spark back that made the story so fascinating in the beginning and I am so happy about it!
Also does anyone read DJUN's weibo? I kinda tried to google translate it and to me it looked like she was stuck with the script and that's why the red-head/uncle hiatus happened? Idk this time google translate was a mess so I am not sure but it looked like she wanted to re-write LiHuan's coming-out and then didn't know how to continue or/and struggled with the script in general? This could be totally off tho. If anyone of you knows chinese and keeps up to date with her weibo let me know!
I definitely feel sorry for DJUN... I think a loooong (like months) hiatus (if affordable) is the best option when you are stuck.. but who knows if that would have been even possible

I have to disagree - but i do understand where you're coming from. In my opinion, the way the author builds up the characters maybe slow to most - however, how the characters are starting to connect and influence one another is starting to make sense. If DJun made this into a light novel the development would not be deemed so slow. In a manga/manhwa, each scene takes longer to create, first planned in a storyboard and such (sorry, I've only been an observer, not an actual creator).
In the beginning the relations between the characters where not made obvious - but as the story progressed it clicked in. Yuyang needed something to jar him from his stubborn principle and perspective in life. If Red just blurted it out of the blue, because they fought, that itself, in my opinion would be a weak plot. Uncle was a good friend of Yuyang, of course he'd be upset when he saw the situation with Red and his ex. It was very Yuyang, considering his past and all. Uncle (Pan) was someone who was like a big brother, a very close friend that he could rely on when ever life was too much and stress just builds up.
Also, because Red's interaction with the ex, he starts to realize the empty relationships he's had, not just gf's, but friends - and most people in his life, because of how he handled those relationships himself. Red and Uncle's interaction is also different than most yaoi in such a way that their story isn't rushed - like wham. bam, thank you (ma'am or in this case, sir). Yes, yes - this is shounen ai - so i don't expect them smexy scenes (but we do all hope - and we got some pretty hot imaginations when the other starts suggesting stuff in the scenes).
If the relationship between Yuyang and Lihuan is going to be something that involves a lifetime with one another, Yuyang has to let go of his past pain - else he won't be able to fully appreciate and savory his time with Lihuan. I greatly admire Lihuan for realizing this early on - that he had to let Yuyang find himself (and discover the misconceptions he had created due to his past) and the path that would lead to him (Lihuan).
You know how in formal dinners you go thru several courses before the main course? This story is so much like that. Oooh, I can't wait what dessert will be too.

Oh i didn't mean the 2 weeks hiatus but the entire uncle/red-head side story interlude the past few weeks (months already). i read some of her weibo entries from before the recent hiatus and she has been complaining about the script for quite some time now and it had something to do with lihuan's car coming out scene. as i read it she wanted to change the coming out. it could also be that she just complained about her weekly schedule. but when you look at the story it seems apparent that she suddenly made a cut and totally got sidetracked with the second couple.
some time ago when yuyang rejected lihuan she said she knows readers are gonna be upset but she wanna do it her way, so i thought she wouldn't let herself be influenced by the readers but of course it could be that it still influenced her in some ways.
there were a lot of posts about readers comments and script changes... she seems to really struggle ;;
i think it's also super hard to stay motivated and passionate about a project when you have to deliver every week, no time for breaks and really developing the plot. i think she got bogged down along the way.

Did you reply to the wrong post by any chance? I didn't say it's slow, I said it's rushed lmao. I understand that red-head and uncle function as plot-devices but it was handled kinda clumsily, red-head making his assumptions about YuYang and screaming at him for example came kinda out of nowhere, same as YuYang regretting his decision to reject LiHuan. It both makes sense but for both situations we need a little more introspection or plot that leads up to this to really comprehend their thought-process. That's why I thought the last two chapters were rushed even though the main plot finally continues which I am happy about. And the uncle/read-head interlude definitely wasn't planned from the start as Djun was struggeling with the script, so it was more of a filler while she figured out how to continue with the main plot. The couple wasn't even planned from the start, same as the Huan-Wen side couple, since Huan-Wen was straight before. DJUN introduced both side couples after her Naver Webtoons Korea contract.
Still loooove the story, but the plot wasn't as smooth anymore for quite some time now bc Djun apparently struggled which is totally normal if you have to deliver every week, I couldn't do it.

I'm quite sure I am replying to the correct post. And, pardon my previous wording, most, not you personally, have complained of the slow development.
I find the pacing just right, but again, that's my opinion. Perhaps the author didn't plan to develop Uncle Pan's story at the beginning, however, the way that it was handled was perfect. Some side stories have readers clamor for a spin off after all. I prefer side couples to have a reason why they've encountered the protagonist rather than them just being fillers. So I look at the side couple as an element of the story more than just being fillers( but again that's my take on it). And imagine a story about a mature man who has for some reason shelved love, yet supports young (gay) men, but won't get into a relationship? The author has to be careful that the second story won't completely over shadow the main. Both have interesting plots.
Red's personality as an egotistical brat, in my opinion, was portrayed just fine. He does have a selfish streak that I think would not allow anyone to tell him off. He and Yuyang are both stubborn, but are polar opposites in personality. But both come off as not willing to back down from what they believe is right, specially if it's to defend/fight for an important friend/ person.
Writers have always struggled with their storytelling. Great writers even more so. They get hit with a gazillion possibilities, then they run into doubts. I won't speak about Djun being this or that - because I do not know the author personally. But I do give my support. The way this author brings out a reader's emotion, some probably screaming at times at their screen ( or that silent scream you do in your mind ), or the frustration and tears. The way Djun connects with the reader at times by inserting those funny pages. Or tease us with scenes of the future of our main couple. I've appreciated those.
As a reader, and again this is my opinion, I just like sitting back and reading as the writer weaves their stories. I think all good stories are a challenge to writers, even more so to a mangaka/webcomic writer - they have to illustrate it. And they are more prone to criticisms.

Well this turned into a K-Drama real quick... And poor Muyeong is caught in the middle. Sadly, instead of being understanding and supportive Seonho is acting childish and selfish.
We know both sides, but Seonho doesn't know anything about Junseok and the situation between those two. Of course it's hard on Seonho but the last thing he should do is let that out on poor Muyeong. He isn't trying to be one bit empathetic or understanding. The only thing he is doing is assuming and acting childish while Muyeong is stressed out over his best friend's well-being. Imagine your significant other's best friend asked for your s/o after trying to commit suicide, of course you would let your s/o go and not give him an ultimatum like that just to pressure him into staying with you (especially when he is already so exhausted and emotionally drained). What an asshole move. Well, apart from the suicide thing it is realistic tho and I like that Seonho isn't a storybook puppy dog. Especially for a man in his early 20s being like this is normal way too often. Still, not a cool way to act in an adult relationship at all. This is such a Devil Wears Prada trope tho! Andy's boyfriend and friends act so unsupportive towards her while she is working her ass off and trying to make everyone happy. And you as the viewer should feel like her friends are the good people and Miranda, her boss, is the antagonist. When in reality Miranda is the true hero of the movie. But in this case Junseok is no Miranda.

This is proper realism. We as the audience know that the best friend is lying but Seonho doesn’t. So Seonho’s ultimatum ends up unbelievably selfish if taken out of context. And his tantrum should have been grounds for them to break up there and then because their relationship is so new not at the same level of a dying childhood friend. Seonho is valid to his feelings of not feeling appreciated by his boyfriend. But it’s also ridiculous to expect Myeoung to not care about his best friend being suicidal despite the readers knowing otherwise. The best friend is a total ass for taking advantage of the situation and putting Myeoung in such a position too. Really you can’t be on either side because it was just handled poorly by all involved. Myeoung should have called Seonho immediately after knowing the truth but his bad habit of not sharing his feelings is feeding Seonho’s insecurity and exacerbating the whole issue.

Nice reference with the Devil Wears Prada people always make the mistake that Miranda is the ultimate villain when it’s Andy’s boyfriend and friends lack of encouragement is really the cause of her “negative” spiral. She would have been able to juggle it all if she had just felt validated which funny enough it’s Miranda who provides this for her the most.

Good we are on the same page haha, I almost lost hope! Normally I am ok with the mess that the comment section usually is but in this case I am quite shocked. Well, of course it's just kids but if you were in Muyeong's shoes you wouldn't be ok with the way Seonho would treat you. This is comedy fiction so I'm mild with my judgement but if this was me irl I would have had a good talk with Seonho 4 months ago and if he still wouldn't have been understanding I would've called it quits and he'd be known as an asshole ex forever. With Junseok we have to keep in mind that we really do not know if he is that manipulative. Sure, he is to a degree but he probably also really needs Muyeong by his side. He is hiding it all behind his sly grin but deep-down he is very shattered and depressed and Muyeong knows him well so I think he is pretty aware of the situation. I don't think he lied about the walking thing. Also I don't think Muyeong should've told Seonho about Junseok's feelings because it isn't his place. He waited for Junseok to say it himself and that's the right thing to do. And he doesn't know about Seonho's insecurity, I mean he doesn't even know about all the assuming Seonho does. Imo Seonho is the bad guy here.
As his partner he should be supportive, understanding and selfless. That's what love is all about. Being selfish and egoistic and demanding from your partner to give him your time and love when he has it rough is the opposite of true love. So idk why everyone's on Seonho's side but I feel like it's a good portrayal of today's society and why relationships aren't lasting anymore. Selflessness isn't encouraged anymore. And we see protagonists like Seonho who act selfish towards their partners or end relationships for the most petty shit all of the time. And it's treated like it's a good thing to do and even encouraged. It's realistic, sadly, but it shouldn't be this way, irl at least.

Thank you so much for uploading, I missed these two so much omg!!! And I'm just noticing how tapas even censors the nipples.... dead. But I just saw that they have a mature section now!!! I hope everyone who bought there before can automatically access the uncensored version now without having to pay again

I don't want a music club AU I want the plot to progress before I die Remember that this is only the PAST ARC we still have to go back to the present time and continue where we left off when Jian Yi lived with Zhen Xi and Zhen Xi would constantly hit him lmao... this reminds me that 19 Days used to be full of violence and action but it's so soft now, Zhen Xi is a completely different character now.
Omggggg next week needs to be right now!!! And the chapter looks like a fricking movie, so beautiful!!!
I am curious as to what is to come after this... We had this huge break but now things get settled pretty quickly in only 3 chapters. My guess is DJUN had to go through some mind acrobatics on how to resolve this "arc" and now after all this trouble she just wants to wrap this matter up as quickly as possible. So I really hope that this isn't the end of it... I really really reaaaaally want the story to continue with the focus on Lihuan and Yuyang. No plot, no drama, just everyday cuteness... that would be the dream ;;
But with this arc ending and them getting together in the next chapter (or so) when this was supposed to end with 100 chapters... it smells like we are near the end. But the new couples took over for probably 30 chapters or more and we still need their stories to develop and resolve so.... I am just praying that DJUN changed her mind and this will continue.
