I get why you prefer the vp. I do (even tho I don't ship them myself). However, I personally have a bit of a problem with the mentality I see in the comments that the vp "deserves" eunwoo.
The truth is, neither the vp or taeho are entitled to a relationship based on how they treat him. Obviously, it would be nice if taeho was less of a dick and redeemed himself, but that doesnt mean the vp "deserves" a relationship bc he's nice. Unfortunately you cant choose who you love, and no one is entitled to it just bc they treat you well (tho that should be a must in a relationship, dont date an asshole)
In my opinion, the best thing this comic could do is have eunwoo and taeho separate from each other, and show us some personal growth and development on both sides

Exactly. But sadly we all know how it'll end. I really wanna read a BL....or just any manga in general where the MC focuses more on personal growth and development more than love. Would be even better if he ends up with a man other than the ML, a man who knows about consent and respects his boundaries.

I see a lot of hate for Taeho and a lot of love for the VP in the comments... all I can say if hold your horses cause things might take an unexpected turn...

Ok, so spoiler!!

The vp is actually also connected to the mc's curse (I think he's a descendant of the first mermaids lover tho I'm not sure). From what I can tell, I think he's been a bit of an ass the last few updates in the raw in regards to this, but we'll see. The story hasn't ended yet, so nothing is confirmed, but all 3 parties are tied together

Honestly I thought this was a little rushed at first, but I really love how their relationship was depicted in the end! Honestly it was refreshing to have a story where both parties come together, admit their mistakes, and move forward in a healthy relationship. I could also really identify with the uke, because I have the bad habit of over idealizing people/relationships in my head. It's good to have standards, but it's also important to be aware when you have unrealistic expectations so that you're fair to both your partner and yourself :)
Anyways I thought it was great how they both growled and improved/matured in their time apart

I feel conflicted reading this. On one hand the art is beautiful and the characters are well thought out. But I'm not sure if a relationship is the best way to end the manga (tho at this point I dont know how it'll end)
The reason I feel this way is bc of the black haired boy's trauma. I think that given how well-fleshed out it is, it would be too superficial to have him turn to gay relationships. At this point, I think he may be gay, but he clearly has a lot of baggage when it comes to sex. I hope that the author will have him work through that rather ignore it for the sake of him dating his friend.
To be clear, I actually really like the two together. I just dont want all of the dark background and trauma to be ignored, especially since the plot seems pretty realistic so far.

I feel so bad for that woman. I don't have my own kids yet (I'm single and still in school lol), but I personally want to have children really badly. It must feel terrible to not be able to have kids of your own, and then to lose your adopted child.
Of course this doesn't justify kidnapping someone else's kid, but from what I've heard, its more common than you'd think. I love the fact that this manga addresses serious problems and doesn't make light of them, even though they aren't the main focus.
This includes the seme's insecurity about becoming a dad, the uke's postpartum issues, etc. While they were all only dealt with on a surface level and everything ended ok, I appreciate the more realistic depiction of life shown by this story.
Omg, I just realized that the light hair guy in ch. 5 might be the doctor in the earlier story. Plot weaknesses of ch.5 aside, I think it's super cute to have a flashback to a different couple who is in the first story!
