i don't think kuze has malicious intent. i think that kuze genuinely is smart enough to realize how bs the whole caste system is, and he i think in his own way he wants to show kusakabe that having the jack card (or even the king card) does not always mean that you get your way, even people at the top of the chain may be hurt. this whole system only works because people allow it to, but if the new target isn't going to allow himself be targeted, or if the opposite, if the king is going to allow himself to be targeted, then that's when human beings can find an opening to take advantage. That's why karino found an opening to take advantage and become the king. that's what kuze wants to prove to kusakabe. that the system only functions because people allow it to. i think kuze is smart, super smart. kusakabe is probably just a bookworm but that's about it.

Ain't avery system like that? :))

yeah def. most systems are like that, but sometimes some systems are beyond people's control (not this one in particular, but think of military dictatorships such as north korea). But I can see your point that in general we have to mutually as a society agree that a system should be a certain way. but in this case people are being stupid and not realizing that this should not be the case, because wtf?? i think the only person who doesn't trust it is kuze. i think that kusakabe and azusa might join him very soon, but not sure lol.

Let's just hope you're right. :/

I have a feeling that ichigo is going to like amato, and then nonoyama will figure out she likes amato too and she will feel bad and she will try to hide it and support ichigo because she's her first friend, but then ichigo will be understanding and so goes the story and then nonoyama will end up with amato lol. Even though it's pretty cliche, I really like the story, and I really like the characters, I can relate a lot with nonoyama so I'll keep reading!

I was super disappointed that it ended this early. I would've liked to have seen more, usually with stories like these you see the author delve into both sides of the story. For example one chapter could've been told from the pov of hidaka, how he developed feelings and how he felt during the times he was bullied/after he moved away. One more chapter could have been about how Aizawa grows in his feelings for Hidaka. I just think this story has so much potential, and it's pretty unique in plot, but because it's not explored to the fullest it left me wanting more (and not in a good way).
I like the one about Oikawa and Satomi more, I can't wait for that one to develop more, especially since Satomi is young enough to be his son's age (which he actually is) there could be a lot to play with in terms of plot, hopefully the development goes right and doesn't fall short, love this author tho~ always writes daring and unique plots. Can't wait (it says it's a one shot I hope there will be more to it perhaps in a different volume or something)
i doesnt understand the second story, oikawa and satomi.. so what he mean show his true self? is he his own son? how about his son? where is he at the time?
That's actually a debatable topic, I read this on myreadingmanga first, and many people were guessing what you guessed. Certain elements in the story wouldn't add up if this is his son (the one we saw on the couch), because Satomi was surprised about a few things...if this was his father he would've known. Also Oikawa states "they're really different," which makes me realize even more that this is not the same person. However, someone had a theory that Oikawa had two sons, one who was given birth to 9 months after Oikawa's son, and so the mother died leaving him with one of the son's for 20 years. I personally believe he was referring to Satomi acting meek/polite/lazy, and not being honest with him about his "true self." Also if that is his son, why does he have a different last name? I honestly don't think a son can just change his hairstyle and fool his dad lol, and i don't think a dad wouldn't notice for that long. Plus Satomi says "since i joined the company" "since i first saw you," these are all clues to me that he really isn't his son. Also they parted ways in the first scene, yet Oikawa's son was at home, how did he get there before his dad? lol i really don't think it's his son, but honestly we will never know unless this gets a continuation :(.
We really need the continuation of this story... btw your opinion is great
