man this was a good chapter!!! great ending!! hope next week we will see who won!!

since this is a sports manga, i think if we follow the pattern of any sports manga/anime they always lose the first time, and win the second time and go to nationals. I'm almost 100% positive they will win. Unless the author wants to take this manga in a different direction, which i highly doubt because that would just be stalling to make money out of it because it's successful.

ueda's bad feeling is true, and ueda saves aki, but then he gets so angry that aki did something so dangerous and breaks up with aki because he can't handle it or something, and then aki proves that he's not a little kid and if he wants to be a yakuza he will be one which means doing dangerous things and ueda accepts him and his choice and they kiss and make up and get back together~
because tbh they need a big fight, they haven't had one. they need a fight to show that their differences won't split them up or something.

that we're all kind of agreeing that soudai isn't the better choice here. I was hoping this would go differently, and become a story of forgetting and moving on. iwata>soudai. soudai was so sly playing with haru and iwata's feelings, and just pulling and pushing selfishly. haru deserves better. he didn't do anything wrong tbh, he just liked someone and wanted to impress them and be with them. if soudai has turned down haru (and in such a cruel way), and he's finally starting to move on, it's so annoying that soudai just wants to change his mind and keep on abusing haru's feelings for him :/.

HE WON'T!!! MUUUUAAAAHHHHHH SPOILED YOUR END!

I wouldn't want to be in that kind of situation honestly. I mean idc if he's straight/gay/asexual/etc., but not being told things, having group dates, stuff like that I would seriously feel bad about myself. It honestly bothered me how little they included him, even though he was so accepting and supportive of sasano. I just wish they would include their friend. imo just because you get yourselves a partner doesn't mean you leave behind your friends, and not tell them things, but oh well :(. overall it was cute and sweet, just this little detail bothered me.

i want more of kurata, he's so adorable. i wish he had a side story, too. i hate how he's kinda a fifth wheel right now ╥﹏╥ i really want him to have someone too~ i don't want him to feel left out. tbh when the story first started out, i thought kurata and sugiyama would be together. but i'm not complaining about sugiyamaxhibiya cause that exchange at the park was super cute hahaha~ but i really like kurata, he's scuh a sweetheart and such a moodmaker i really want to see him all shy, cute, and embarrassed because of the person he likes hehehehhe
is about imperialism and the allies of Nazis, japan's worst days imo, which in a way took away from the story for me. but when onizuka acknowledged they were losing/not in the right, that kind of made me feel a little better. i understand all sides are still human in the end, with love/family/etc., but to me this kind of romanticized what being in the army was like back in those days. especially in the army of the enemy, because they were not going around spreading love....they were going around doing much more atrocious things....especially the empire of japan...and the nazis...it's a little upsetting but if i ignore all of that i actually enjoyed this story. idk something just doesn't sit right with me
