This is such a good manhwa/webtoon, so well written, great art, I’m just so sad that the author and artist decided their next project is a shounen fantasy T-T

Yep, I’m especially and since one of their previous projects was magical 12th graders and omggg, that story is excellent, chef’s kiss, it dealt with tragedy, fantasy, romance, comedy, so so well written, that story is one of my favs along with ShimCheong, but apparently the shounen fantasy is good too, it is a dark comedy, since I liked the other projects aloooot I guess I’ll try it out, the author seems to like genre hopping and trying out different stories, let’s see how it is

Ok so I just started reading this, she got roofied and was going to get raped but then the guy who “saved,” her has sex with her but like, she can’t consent though??????? Because she was still roofied???????????? How was that consensual?????????????? Also how does she remember anything at all?? How are they going to spin this? That she hit on him so much he could do nothing but oblige?? What? How is this being glossed over?

Pls, is the whole premise that she doesn’t care how others see her, that every single woman who was into the male lead was superficial, that it basically culminates to she’s “not like the other girls,” ? That she’s different because she’s tomboyish???

how did you even manage to come to that conclusion, im genuinely curious? because ive been reading it and the way i see it, it's more about her working through her own anxieties around how she looks and how people see her, and being able to find joy in being able to have experiences that are EXACTLY like those of other girls her age.
she's different from the male lead's "usual type" (because they brought it up) because she's the first person he's ever had proper feelings for. her being "tomboyish" has nothing to do with anything - not that she's tomboyish at all????
you don't have to read or even like it, but can you at least not misinterpret it in bad faith?

Oooofff, my impression was based on the one chapter from his perspective. That was the only one I read. But I saw the majority in the comments absolutely loving it so I just wanted to know if my impression was correct or not (since I’m pretty sure it can’t be what I thought since so many love it), I did enjoy Lonely planet (though it was also rife with shoujo tropes, not to mention the horrendous age gap) so I didn’t think my impression was correct. Sorry if it came across as disrespectful, but if you do read that one chapter from the mmc’s perspective you will see how I got this impression.
Was the hyung’s DID caused by extreme trauma experienced before the age of 7??? Because that’s the only way DID can manifest?
I don't think so. It manifested when he was a teenager and mostly bc of his desires for the mc.
DID can develop before and after that age, and sometimes realization for that can take several years. So its not always clarified whether someone who has DID started early on or late, mostly due to OSDD. It also depends on the type of trauma and how long it took to process it.
Symptoms can develop later but the trauma has to have happened at a very young age
isn't it mostly bc of the stress he's experiencing bc of the mc? extreme stress and trauma are main factors i believe?
Nope, DID is very specific, it has to be intense excruciating trauma before the age of 7 when all children actually have unintegrated personalities, if you have a healthy childhood they integrate properly into one, if you don’t, they stay unintegrated to help you cope
