it seems like Dan and how she feels for him for no apparent reason, is like super "convenient". Like as if the author wanted him to be the Male Lead from the beginning, started the story where they went so deep with the feels with the other three guys, especially Eugene and then suddenly remembered Dan´s role and purpose and inserted him like a photoshopped person next to Megan Fox or something....I hope we are going to be convinced properly about why it has to be Dan and not just us...I mean her, too....cause right now, it really seems to be like it is a forced development....

you cannot really compare original stories and interpretations of them. I barely ever saw any artist properly try and one for one recreate every detail the original story had. This artist seems to have had a lot of fun and see the story different than you, thus they draw it all in this way. They also seem to not yet have a real understanding and relationship of Daniel, thus we all feel awkward about him....it is not that hard to interpretative a story if you wish to do so...you just gotta look at the cues from a more objective and omniscient point of view....so it does not matter if you believe that in the original novel it was all platonic and Daniel was properly the real ML for a reason. Because in this artists version of that story it seems different....

after sooo long. But I have to say....Taesungs mother is really unforgivable for how she was to him ALL the time before haebom became more close to them in his teens and built a relationship between her and her son. For real. She took so many years, to realise she has a son, that he is lovable, that she should show him her love and cherish him openly etc. The dad at least visited him sometimes, but was not really any better as well. Work is just an excuse. The child was a burden, the grandmother was a convenient place to leave that burden, while they thought it was all ok cause they got him tutors and send him money. So the child's love and obedience was bought. All this "are you trying to embarrass me" crap to a kid to him you are only his mother, because his grandmother who was his everything, told him that you are his mother. Technically you were nothing more than a stranger that suddenly demanded shit of a stranger child as if it was a professionally trained dog that failed to listen to their cues. Wtf. Anyway....my grandparents did this to my oldest aunt, their first child. So this is not as "ok" as it looks. He is luckily someone who experienced some motherly love and family love as his child self thanks to his grandma, haebom and his mom. As an adult then he learned love thanks to heobom and then his parents belatedly followed with being a bit more like parents/people who care for him openly....anyway..i am just amazed at his awesome character :)

This may be a fictive story, but it is true that in asian countries, even though they have "laws" of human rights, the husband still is always forgiven for any shit he does.
