Did any of you see the "what if" story that that author created? I've seen bits and pieces and Chiwoo and Jihyun end up together with a kid. I know this will get downvoted but Idc because that makes me sick to my stomach. If Jihyun was still the "my daddy didn't love me so I rape ppl I love and almost kill others to get what I want" asshole then he doesn't deserve the happy ending. The author only made this "what if" story to appease the weird ass young fans who dont know what psychological damage is. All they know is he cries and says sorry so that must mean hes changed... Sorry I got carried away, but you get what I mean.

They didn't end up with the kid.... The family with kid are completely different characters from author's other AU.
And "what if" chapters are not cannon. They are fanservice for Jihyun's fans. What if he never RAPED him and hurt him. Nothing less, nothing more.
So please stop spreading misinformation.

"I've seen bits and pieces and Chiwoo and Jihyun end up together with a kid" - no, they DIDN'T end up with the KID in "what if". It's a different couple from different AU.
And what if is alternative universe where he didn't hurt or raped him so situation is a little bit different than you described.
And as I said it's pure fanservice.

And to be clear before there will be assumptions.
No, I'm not fan of Jihyun. I'm the first person to point harmful and useless from rape to love trope and speak for victims of abuse and sexual harassment so no I'm not some crazy fan.
I just don't like misinformation which can paint author in a bad light.

The way the chapter ended freaks me out. It looks like its going in the direction where it will explain a terrible past for the ex and that's why he treated the uke that way. Or, Minato will keep popping up and declaring his love for Nanase, saying only he knows all his good spots and no one will accept him because he's damaged..I dont want either of those to happen. Indecent, raping mfs dont deserve redemption or second chances in my opinion.

Saddens me so much because his life isnt his own to live and that breaks my heart. Everyone deserves happiness and the people who make you feel bad for wanting a happiness that's different from theirs, are actual trash. I'm so glad Yang backed off and gave him his space and didnt try to pressure him. This is such a well rounded story!!!

Refreshing because we got to see the characters work through their emotions. Usually in yaoi, theres a misunderstanding and its usually for a stupid reason. In this manga, our seme was young and made what he thought was the decision at the time and all that matters is he ended up correcting it head on. I enjoyed this manga from beginning to end.

I don’t really think they “worked” through it, it felt like the uke just accepted everything from the seme after he “explained” why he said that to him 7 years ago and the uke didn’t even say how he felt after that and just went with whatever the seme did. I don’t know how the uke accepted everything so easily without fearing the same thing would happen like 7 years ago, I also think it was very unfair to the uke how the seme just showed up out of nowhere and even before apologizing or addressing anything he just went head on and had sex with the uke. I just think that the seme is just selfish and did what he wanted and didn’t really think abt the uke’s feeling, like 7 years ago I get it (not really) he did it for the uke but he really could’ve talked to him and found a solution and they wouldn’t end up like that.
I'm happy for Hana that they ended up together because its what he wanted... I just wish Renjaku would have fell for Hana a little more romantically? He told him he stinks all the time and always a shitty omega and then one day he proposes? I guess I wish his character was a little more developed. We knew where it was headed, I just wish we had a little more emotion from our alpha.
Same. I’m happy they ended up together, but it felt kind of sudden(?) to me, I guess. I felt like Renjaku CARED about Hana, but I didn’t feel like I saw a definitive moment where he LOVED Hana. Let alone a moment that made me understand why he re-evaluated his “no pair” policy, and decided to put his childhood trauma aside for the sake of Hana and their future.
