This is an interesting idea, but I don't get what's the stakes for the students. If their score is low then they'll get expelled? And people bully them if their scores are low?
This just seems like stuff that happens on its own without the phone app at all. If I were them I would just go to another school. All this artificial tension with no real stakes is making the whole phone app idea seem out of place.
That or I'm too used to very high and horrible stakes like extreme debt or death . Each to their own I guess.
it's not really out of place. it is mentioned that it was an experimental school, and students found it really easy to enjoy school life thanks to troia. they found it fun to have their school life to be 'gamified' so they really have no real reasons to transfer to another school. there are of course those who are abusing the app, but perhaps their mindset is that as long as they're not involved, it's fine?
...and high school is also the age of students where social status matters the most, that's probably why bullying is still prevalent, but even worse now that an app has ranked them all down. as a result, i guess the students were encouraged to do missions for ranking up to avoid the worst case scenario.
at least, that's what i can gather from these past four chapters. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

This may seem stupid, but I'm a bit confused about Kadota, Kazuomu and Tendou's relationship.
From what I can gather, Kadota loves Kazuomu, Tendou loves Kazuomu and Kazuomu loves Tendou. But what I don't understand is why Kazuomu remaining in the baseball club would prevent Tendou from being able to be with Kadota. (or confess to him)
Kadota only has sex with Kazuomi because Kazuomi can't take the heat pills due to baseball. So if he leaves baseball, he doesn't have sex with Kadota. This means that Kadota can stop thinking about Kazuomi and maybe focus more on Tendou, I think

When the mind reading guy said that Togata was a man in a woman's body, does that suggest that she/he is transexual? Or does that just mean that by some doo-hickey blessing magic made him enter a woman's body?

togata was born a male, but she identifies as a female. there's not much magic to how one identifies oneself in terms of gender.
however, togata's regen blessing does nullify all sex operations, hence her disgust toward her body. not that her body alone would explain her anguish; a lot of things could happen over 300 years.
I meant the circumstances behind that description, hence why I suggested transexuality at first, then magic: because I wasn't sure. Now that it's explained in the chapter after then yes I now understand it wasn't the work of any blessings.

The Yakuza guy deserves his own story! I think it would be interesting learning more about him, how he got into the business and more about his past (about his shitty parents and how they treated him and Shiori) but last but not least, he deserves some of that love too. :^ (

I don't have a specific chapter to give you, but it's definitely in there. It was when Goong Hwa first invited Sun Hwa into the bakery to try his goods, and in the flashback, there was a kid that might've been Sun Hwa, and he was bullying a blond foreign kid in the canteen: asking if him he liked bread since he was a foreigner, then the blond kid vomits. And then it flashes back to reality and Goong Hwa is asking if anything is wrong with the garlic bread he gave him because he was disturbed by the flashback.
