Look, Haru thought his feelings were unrequited, so he went looking for a new owner. He probably thought he would be able to forget Shimon if he got involved with another guy. ALSO REMEMBER THAT HARU IS A HUSTLER. He sleeps with guys in order to have a place to stay. So he can either have sex with some rando or he can sleep in the street.
I knew from the first page that it should be Mosato and not Chika. Mosato strokes Hotaka's hair and gazes at him with heartache all over his face. It was obviously supposed to be a story about Hotaka and Mosato... I actually got halfway through chapter one, got confused, and started reading again from the beginning. I thought I must have misunderstood something.
I was so shocked when I realized that yes, Mosato was married ... and Hotaka was gonna end up with Chika... But... But... But... OBVIOUSLY Hotaka and Mosato had feelings for one another???
I tried to warm up to Chika, but I couldn't... I just kept waiting for Hotaka to realize that he actually loved Mosato and not Chika. I felt bad for Chika. Obviously he realized that he was inserting himself between M & H, even if H didn't understand his own feelings yet. H also never seemed to really enjoy sex with Chika. It was like he tolerated Chika's advances... Maybe because he was lonely?
I also suspect that while Chika did truly love Hotaka, he started their relationship up to spur Mosato into action. He realized that M&H should be together and THAT'S why he flaunted his relationship with Hotaka in front of Mosato. Telling the group they were dating straightaway, molesting him in the hotel room when Mosato was sure to come back at any moment...
I believe that some part of him hoped that H would choose him instead, but he knew deep down that H's bond with M was stronger.
I see so many comments of "Imagase deserves better"... "Kyouichi is a cheater" but at the beginning of the manga, Imagase had a live in boyfriend. He was cheating too. Imagase also took money from Kyouichi's wife to do a private investigator job... seduced his client's husband... and lied about the results of his investigation. That's super shady.
This story doesn't have a good guy or a bad guy, just a lot of grey...
Imagase is blackmailing Kyouichi into sexual scenarios at the beginning of the manga. During their entire relationship before Natsuki came back around Kyouchi tells Imagase over and over again that he isn't gay and doesn't have feelings for Imagase. Imagase chose to stick around in that situation. AND he was going through Kyouichi's computer and email.
Imagase is creepy.
Kyouichi is spineless.
I think they make a great couple. :)
I check back on this title every month or two ... Still nothing...
I've had them For well over a year. I've even offered to clean and typeset them if someone will translate, but no one likes to step on the toes of another scan group.

Saying that I have to say I kinda also relate to them. I've never had a relationship and I'm on the closer side to 30 so I find myself thinking about how it'd be nice to have someone for a companion even if there's no passionate love happening or even sex. It just gets lonely not having someone to come home to.

What do you expect? drama? angst? you want them both being so passionate for each other that they need to explode and fight or what?

Just because they are adults that knows what they want and can comunicate it peacefully to each other doesn't mean they aren't passionate about the other.
Not really? I understand this is all fiction so even if there was more drama/angst then I would just take it as that being part of the story. I just wanted to experience more development. Sure we can tell they become fond of each other but it just felt like a huge jump from A to B and it's mostly because this is manga and there's a limit to how many words can be used to express thoughts/feelings.
What I was getting at was that you don't need to "fall in love" to have a relationship. In my opinion relationships can develop through mutual respect and trust and that can lead to affection and love. Just like that lady was saying that she had a successful marriage that started as an arranged marriage.
My initial comment was just to give my perspective on some of the themes of the story and yeah you might think I'm just over thinking it when it's just a fictional story but that's just what I took from it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
