This actually felt like it was too easy. It needed more depth and struggle to the characters, mainly because the seme's reason for saying they didn’t love the uke anymore was so they wouldn’t suffer when the seme left to study in Tokyo.

I expected to see Minami's sobbing face thats full of tears. throughout the story he's projected as a strong character but that bus stop scene would be so much better when that strong facade snapped with tears flowing from years of unrequited love.

again, the seme did some a horrible thing but of course happy ending even though the redemption isn't enough, the uke's kind and weak heart couldn't be leave the seme.

also theres a lot of panels where they be looking like they have some kind of body disorders (except for the sister)

i mean he got yelled at and ignored for half the story + i don’t think what he did was deserving of a punishment anyways? he was a kid who made a dumb decision so that he could protect his own heart.
what he did isn't deserving of jail time, yes.
But the pain his childish dumb decision caused which affected the uke's mentality and a good chunk of his youth? Certainly he needs to feel some remorse on that part.
and when the uke finally confronted him about that, what he did was to basically guilt trip the uke about the whole situation by ignoring the uke and that scene at the library, that's worse than getting yelled at; the uke basically saying what is wrong but that look on his face certainly isn't showing regret.

the story itself is not that dramatic but when we really think it was made 17 years ago somehow it became sad-ish.

the love triangle plot is so interesting or should i say love square but anyway if this was a more dramatic manga it would be perfect.

The thing is I personally don’t like love triangles, but I feel like if this was done properly this could’ve been good. I feel like if he had ended up with his friend instead, and the other guy would’ve actually ended up being straight and he got his heartbroken, but from that he kind of like you know more stuff happened in between you know I think this would’ve been a better story. I think this would’ve actually worked out better.
