So there were two points that stuck out to me from my own personal translations and a friend of mine who actually speaks it.
“Then you’ll spend more time with me and you’ll come to love me.” Is actually more nuanced and is actually something like, “if you knew how much I loved you, then one day you will fall in love with me.”
And “doyuun is a better person than I thought” is actually “I’m a better person than you think.” Which makes more sense.
Are there any mangas like this where the two guys are in love with the same girl and compete with each other till they fall in love with each other?
I actually read one years ago but it was 1 girl and 3 guys and it was dark and not fluffy like this one. Like one of the guys is her bf and then 4some happen bc they all “love” her they’re willing to share then she died in the end and then 2 of the boys we’re like “ok, let’s fuck guy 3 to remember her” then rape happen and then the end

They may have a time skip. If I was writing this, I'd do one of two things.
1. Time skip to another mission when they are more experience and that is near another character development event
2. Time skip to the end of their growth and exposition dump, then continue with the next arc.
Binge read this and I realized that For the first... 20+ chapters you could replace Meili with a sexy lamp and nothing would change. The boy has the personality of a rock. He finally gains expressions when he realizes that he’s in love and that expression is ‘teary eyes’.
Also: even though his father died before Meili could remember, what kind of mother wouldn’t show him pictures of his dad or even tell him his name?

It may or may not. I think the boy's purpose was to make Caitel clearly understand that he would not love just any child that was his, but it has to be her and her alone.
Yeah we all know it’s not his son, but he never chased them out of the palace which means they’re still there. If his purpose was just that then that’s a super weak side plot/character reveal since we all knew that. I was hoping there’d be some political intrigue because he never officially said it wasn’t his son so I thought there would be people wanting a boy to take over the empire as the heir.

It’s sad that no matter where you are, as a woman, we all relate to this.
Just a few days ago, a female college student was murdered by a guy she knew (he probably raped her and then killed her. he’d been accused of it in the past but the charges were dropped because the other girl probably didn’t want to get dragged through the mud) and he chopped up her body and burned it in his backyard to try and get rid of her.
my mom is terrified for my safety because I’m moving into the city where it happened for work. I’m an adult now with my first real job trying to be independent but with that independence comes a fear that I am never truly safe. Not in my city. Not in my home because another fear my mother has is if I get a male housemate I might be in danger. Or even if men that I don’t know visit my other roommates. The sad thing is, I can’t argue with that with everything that happens.
I’ll have to be cautious but I will not be oppressed by the possibility of danger. I refuse to be afraid because this is my life to live.
