The real victim in all this is dohyeok and the true villain is the author. I will be a doheyok defender till I die. At the end, dohyeok was raped, traumatised and abandoned with no support system or anyone to help, because the author felt that’s what he deserved. He has no real friends, family, lover or anyone to trust and help him overcome the ptsd, loneliness and trauma he’s endured. Truly a sad case, and it’s worse that everyone else had a happier ending than he did. I’m really worried for his mental health, and if this was real life I’d be concerned about possible suicide/ self harm for a character like doheyok. Luckily this is fiction but doesn’t excuse the horrible writing and torture porn it was to make doheyok miserable

YES. Literally this feels like the side story of CBAW all over again. If you choose to give the spot light to a "villan" it should be to see how their life progresses and change for the better, but this trend of "let's make him suffer as karma" it's so stupid. I was hoping after this he would change and it would start a back and forth of them healing and growing but seeing how the story ended it just made it seem pointless.
He did bad things, he gets hurt and ends up experiencing the same things he did to others, just to learn nothing but be left with scars???? It would've been better if the author didn't give him a story if it was just to pull this bullshit

Fr the author made us attached to the characters, dangled us with the hope of a redemption arc and left the readers with nothing at the end. I’d rather not have a side story if there’s going to be no progress or development and just suffering for the characters. Atleast this way we wont be attached. We did a full circle and came out with nothing I heard the author is getting criticism for the horrible ending and honestly it’s deserved.
If there are 100 Ian haters. I’m one of them.
If there is 1 Ian hater. It’s me.
If there are no Ian haters. I’m dead.
season 2 just basically dumped all the character development down the drain and started off exactly where season 1 did. Did anything change? Nope. Ian still running back to TJ despite saying he wanted to leave. TJ and Ian sex scenes shoved into every chapter as usual. Jo hardly getting any screen time/relevancy and being neglected with no explanation. What was the point of reading this again?
