The characters seem underwhelming. I hate how the uke pines for the seme despite that he shows little to no interest. The seme’s emotionless vibe gets annoying considering it’s be 60+ chapters with no character development. I know that he’ll eventually start chasing the uke but I wish the uke would have some more back bone instead of blind chasing after a man that just is using him for his own means.
I pretty much just skip over the sex scenes at this point since I don’t find them enticing and most of it is seme forcing/ using uke and uke crying for him to stop. I can’t feel the love or attachment to these characters so far. I’ll only continue reading it since it reminded me of payback with the whole sponsor stuff and the fact that I’m in far too deep. I wish we get some character development soon cuz it’s pretty lazy plot writing ( ̄へ ̄)

Is anyone else super happy about the newest Mikhail and feilong chapters? I’ve been waiting for more development between them since I could sense their chemistry from the beginning of the series (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I really hope they do more chapters on this pairing and hopefully end up Together ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ They are slowly becoming my favourites <3

Okay this is probably toxic but am i the only one who wanted to see a plot twist and him end up with Chang in hope of some character development.

I just dont it happening, while i'm all in for underground/ mafia love affair. Ed only looks to Chang as a brother, but w/ Chang's rape, even that relationship is gone btw them. I wouldn't be surprised if Ed feels repulsive toward Chang, but cuz he valued their past, he is likely to only feel unpleasant during future interactions.
I’m sorry but I just want Ian and Jo to end up together. Even tho tj and Ian have history, their relationship is too messy and if their relationship was that strong they would’ve been together sooner rather than later. Yet decades past and they’re still stuck in the same place. Sometimes it’s better to move on and let things go instead of clinging to the past where you both drown. I genuinely believe Ian can find happiness with Jo. You don’t both have to experience trauma to be with one another. That’s pretty messed up thinking (from tj’s perspective). Sometimes people like Jo are people who can help you heal from a bad past and can be a light in the dark. I think if tj and Ian end up together they could go back to their old unhealthy cycles and just drown in the darkness. It would be too pitiful.
