They really forgave that guy WAY too fast. I feel like they took him attempting to assault Natsuki way to lightly. Ok, yeah you can say it didn't happen, but what if Natsuki couldn't fight back? Him being underage is already something to side-eye but he literally acts like a bratty kid which takes all of the interest out of it for me. I feel like a time-skip or some SUPER rapid character development for the seme is the only thing that will save this story for me~
This manhua has some great character designs! But Leto and Kalifa just took my breath away with how gorgeous they both were! Alone they're dazzling but when they had scenes together, my bisexual heart just couldn't take it o///o

I'm REALLY grateful for their work but I noticed since Angy took over from Chili Tangerine Scans, they have dropped and replaced all the honorifics. I think it's better to revert back to the initial translations where Sunbae, Hyung, Hoobae etc. were being used. Anyone know how to contact them to make this suggestion?
I think that is because the latest chapters are from the official English translations on the app Manta. So the uploader is not the translator.
This is NOT dropped! The scan group who did the translation up to ch 19 said that they would stop doing the translation because it would be licensed in English! Lol! From chapter 19 it’s the official translation!
I saw on one post that people weren't aware of this, but these guys are in their THIRD YEAR of middle school (all 15). This is why in chapter 247 the girl asks Ji Yian which high school he plans on going to. People are confused bc the earlier chapters (up until CH. 50 I think) shows us glimpses of the FUTURE when Zhang is in COLLEGE and Jian Yi has reappeared after being gone for 3 years. However, after this, the majority of this story (outside of the special chapters and Side Art) is a FLASHBACK to the time when they were all together in middle school...Hope that cleared up any confusion :)

No worries, they still seem to be together. Like the Christmas Special chapter 224 takes place in the future (When Jian Yi comes back after 3 years). And both couples are together there :)

Hi all! They are NOT in highschool (Yes I'm surprised too ^^). They're in their THIRD YEAR of middle school (Age 15). It's confirmed in chapter 247 where the classmates asks Jian Yi what high school he's going to. Also [SPOILERS!!!] there was a flash -forward in one chapter where we learn that Jian Yi drops out of high school his SECOND DAY there and doesn't appear until 3 years later (when Zheng xi is already in COLLEGE) so all of these experiences are FLASHBACKS before that time. Only the SIDE ART and some of the SPECIALS are happening in the FUTURE. Everything else is showing the boys while they were in MIDDLE SCHOOL. Feel free to look this info up if you need more proof :)
I remember a while back many of us were confused cuz some times it would mention high school and another time college. So I guess cuz if that I discarded what grade they are in and going with "they are in school" thanks tho!
Yeah, it's convoluted because the first 50 chapter focus on Jian Yi and Zhang, after Yi has been gone for 3 years (dropped out of high school and suddenly left china). Now Zhang is in his first year of college and Yi has to repeat high school after missing it. After chapter 50, we are given a flashback to when the four of them were together their third year of middle school. This time period is where the bulk of the chapters take place. This manga is great don't get me wrong...but after seeing the NEXT chapter between Hiiragi and Shizu I'm so uncomfortable. [Obviously spoilers is you haven't seen that chapter]

I don't see why sexual assault has to be such a common theme in BL. Passion/Desire shouldn't equate to ignoring consent. I was already on edge when it happened with Haruki and Akihiko. But the fact that that gross trope was then done again with Hiiragi and Shizu just leaves such a horrible taste in my mouth. To me it taints the bond that they've developed over the years and normalizes abusive and toxic relationships between guys. If Hiiragi was a girl NO ONE would think that scene was ok or that those two should still be together.
I was ready to see the build up to them both getting over their past traumas, accepting their feelings for one another, and then slowly getting comfortable with transitioning from friendship to something more. Instead we just go straight into cringeworthy sex scene filled with dubious consent. And of course I'm sure, like with Akihiko, we're going to get some redemption for Shizu and they'll just slap a bandaid on it and pretend that scene never even happen.
Those dumb and toxic tropes are fine for throw away yaoi that's only there to fulfill a kink. But I felt like this story was so much more than that. It really gets you invested in the characters and their lives. And the anime just brings the characters even more to life. I honestly so disappointed with the direction it's taking, and I'm wondering if the mangaka is going to do the same with Mafuyu and Ue...
So let's say hiiragi was a girl that's been friends with someone for so long and she went to that friend and confessed and kissed that friends and hinted she'll give all of herself to that friend but chickened out when things were about to go down , can we still say she was sexually assault without her saying the words "i was sexually assault" No we can't ..like we can't also just judge a few scenes from a manga and make hiiragi a victim and point the finger at chizu without knowing what was going on in his head in that moment was he in chock , did he want to leave and was paralysed by fear and panicked or was he just scared from something he never experienced before and was afraid that's all who can say for sure so let's think it through before making the author another rape advocate author

Literally the only snips of Hiiragi we get are him looking terrified and saying he's scared. Shizu going forward anyway just shows that he was totally fine with disregarding Hiiragi's comfort. That shit isn't normal in ANY relationship, and there will never be a situation where it's considered a consensual sex scene, outside of Yaoi/Hentai-land fantasies.
Even if it comes back to Hiiragi saying he was ok with the situation, it will just further feed into the narrative that the romanticization of toxic and abusive relationships are fine as long as it's between guys.
Sh*t like this is so common in these kink-filled mangas that it has oblivious fujoshis like you making excuses for it and normalizing it. I'm not here to kink-shame. If you're down with dub-con just say that. But if you REALLY think a situation like that is any way consensual then you're a loss cause.

I can understand not everything needs to be extremely wholesome but there's more ways to create tension or express drama than just throwing in some edgy and uncomfortable sex scenes. did we need a rehashing of what just went down with haru and aki?? No, we didn't. But i'm not too surprised bc even in a few of her djs she has the seme going through some type of emotional issue and then taking it out on the uke in a sexual way. so apparently this is her go to plot device. if she does the same with mafuyu and uenoyama i'll be pissed.
everything about that chapter feels kinda unnecessary :/ yeah we got some cute scenes from when they were in kindergarten(?) but other than that there was just an uncomfortable atmosphere in every scene. im also afraid the author is gonna take the same route with ritsuka and mafuyu and if she does then im bidding this manga goodbye.
it's a shame 'cause the buildup to that chapter was really good but now i cannot even try to bring myself to care about the childhood friends (including yuki) like im only reading this for a (hopefully) ritsuka centered arc.
