This is further emphasized that the commoner characters in both Western and Asian Storytelling worship the rich + powerful but the difference is I personally notice is:
In K-Dramas we see often how many characters fear and subservient they are to the elites.
In American shows/movies we have been shown protagonists or supporting/side characters who can hate, resent, harm, scheme, gamble, risk their lives, kill or do anything to take down their opponents regardless how powerful or influential they are...
In the story about western (rich asshole) characters we can see how very bold, mercilessly and disrespectful they can be against the patriarch of the family unlike in Korean mainstream media.
Maybe this is why some beloved unusual reincarnated Villainesses are more allowed allowed to fight, humiliate and destroy their toxic shitty parents because these modern Korean Women are transmigrated as white western characters.
Nevertheless they are still plenty FLs in fantasy Medieval Victorian Regency settings or very stupid Harlequin Romance Novels getting saved by the usually tsundere Alphaholes/MLs.

The thing is, I am an Asian and if wasn't born in Germany and grew up instead in a more conservative patriarchal country like China, South Korea or Japan I wouldn't even think or dare going against my parents/elders. Living in a more progressive European country (that also has its dark racist colonial history) allowed me easier to question and rebel against the bad negative aspects of Asian traditions/social rules.

When I started to read the first chapter of this story, I didn't mind and ignored the huge problematic aspect of this story because I liked how the thin Uke with self-low esteem gets a hot faithful twisted fuckboy.
Now that I am older, more experienced and have been visiting therapy +a good supporting group, I can say for certainty:
These two are really bad and toxic for each other!
The Uke needs more self-love-respect/therapy and the Seme needs to leave him for good.
They are just in a very unhealthy volatile messed up relationship.
