After the first 6 chapter I am confronted with the same old cliches:

Clumsy lucky (innocent) hardworking FL with a troublesome sibling
Talented Elite Manchild is the ML and Boss who saves FL by giving her the job due to their history together
Mature helpful 2nd ML appears in front of so clumsy lovely FL

If there is a jealous bitch and an evil mother/father to come in the next following chapters,
we have completed the K Drama Formular!

I come from an Asian/Chinese family and I witness personally enough that troublesome blood relatives can destroy your life!
Trope: The Good responsible daughter has to clean up the messes of others... WHY?!

This is why I prefer Western/European individualism who can cut off any family for good or determined leave them to their demise, if they are too toxic, troublesome and dangerous.
I am proud of myself to able to distance myself from any too bothersome people even my own family.

After discovering Melissa and Yona from "BEWARE OF THE VILLAINESS" + Sasha and Rebecca from "The Pet Of The Villainess" I can't help but wonder why in this villainess story the FL/MC Viara is so helpless and weak.

Even when Melissa had no power, she still was bold and fierce enough to stand up against assholes. Rebecca also grew stronger and fearless when she realized that her prince is a total loser who is beneath her.
In Melissa's mind: "I don't care if I suffer the consequences at least I punched/humilated/destroy that asshole for my satisfaction!" It's my interpretation ;)

Now matter how strong and smart the MC/Uke is, he "always" has to suffer in BL stories no matter what. Assaulted, Ostracized, Kidnapped, (Gang) Raped, Blackmailed etc...
I mean just in chapter 23 he gets caught again because he just gotten suddenly too reckless, naive and stupid...! And out of nowhere his sister is on life support due to a car chase accident(⊙…⊙ )
It's like the author doesn't want the sassy Uke/MC to succeed or outsmart the Alphahole.

And the ML/Seme can be as cruel, childish, sadistic and shitty as he wants towards the Uke as long he "saves" the Uke and falls for him...
A very predictable not so spoiler is that the Alphahole is risking his life and is almost mortally wounded because his Uke is in danger again. And because of his big spectacular heroic gesture Uke has to confess his love for him(〜￣△￣)〜

I am pretty sure the author put these two in these absurd k drama action hostage situation to force a romantic love bond between them （￣へ￣）
Guys, that plot has been used many times before!

Funny thing is, the cause of Uke's suffering has always sth to do with the dominant arrogant inhumane Seme/Alphahole... Just ask Why is the MC in danger in the first place?
Let's not forget that there is the SECOND MALE LEAD SYNDROME guy AGAIN!

When I started to read the first chapters I was very interested because the Uke was very untypical and bold... But then I noticed that he is trapped in the same toxic Yaoi cliches...
It is not fun for me anymore. I can't ignore these obvious tropes anymore.
There is fun harmless romance smut trash to enjoy and there is too toxic shit trash you can't ignore or digest...

You can enjoy sth but still stay critical. This time the cruel cold Alphahole type starting to put me off and I got reminded that the Uke does not choose the 2nd ML who has been very supportive, helpful and nice! He should be the HERO! He just get sidelined and disappears from most of the storyline.

I really hope that the ML Theve isn't revealved as the hidden lost prince ┗( T﹏T )┛

The trope that the ML has to be a secret/hidden prince who has a spy assassin...

It would have been enough/better, if he was just an independent knight with lots of influence and connections....
So why?

I am starting to ask why authors like her wants to see the FL suffer so much by sending them in a trash novel world that is literally hell. （￣へ￣）

You have a halfbrother (same mother) who has a younger or older halfbrother (same father) with whom you don't share blood relation... And the writer/author makes you fall in love with HIM the ML!
But doesn't make it the ML/bizarre loveinterest in a way your relative?????
Can you imagine IRL to be in a love relationship with a person who is blood related with your brother/sister) but not with youΣ( ￣□￣||)

It is quite refreshing to see a CHRISTIAN coded holy knight and his comrades + mercenaries getting killed for following blindly an ideology instead of using logic/rationality. Atou is a real badass savage.

Lornias is a flesh out pathetic character who deserves to die since he wants to commit genocide in the name of his church religion. It doesn't matter that he has family who loves him because there is no excuse for executing marginalized groups no matter what.

Sir Vendel was probably a very reasonable decent human being. Too bad he had to die due too Lornias's fanatic beliefs.
