I get that in dramatic soapy stories there is either the creepy false nice guy or very hateful psycho antagonists that have the function to make the toxic ML look good and more heroic for the MC and the audience.
But why does the great perfect endearing Second Lead appears at all when at the end the stupid MC only choose the ML who is usually the cause of their sufferings???

Yes it is cute but also very dumb. No offense but Yona and Elma seem to be more superior unusual maid characters.

Oh him... He did kidnapped the MC against her will but I can see how desperate and fed up he is being the unfortunate villain of her story. I also find it personally weird that he develops feelings for his creator.

I like the ML in Lady Beast because he has a lot of self-awareness. I think of him as the primary MC.
But the ML in Beast with Flowers is actually a bored entitled blood thirsty psycho who is only good to the innocent oblivious FL he is obessed with.
The ML in As you wish my prince is pitiful/ok, don't like the premise/logic of this story.

I know they are not ML with red hair but still : the felix in Who Made Me a Princess, the second brother in The Duchess and the Contract Princess, the Tyrex in Chitra, Carsein in The Abandoned Empress,

The father and the second brother/son are quite lovable in "The Duchess and the Contract Princess". They are like a cute bear and fox.
Felix... I am blaming him for allowing Claude to be an asshole towards the MC. He is so loyal, lenient and subservient to Claude that he often turns a blind eye.
Tyrex is just a masochistic exhibitionist.
Carsein was quite hostile and condenscending towards Aristia at the beginning... To be frank, many characters are overdramatic dummies in this story.

It occured to me that many fantasy novels, manwahs and manhuas use the sometimes sick white lotus jealous petty spoiled evil step-half-sister type harming the once innocent FL...
These stories say literally trust no women in your life. Except those who are trusty supporting sidekicks (the only female best friend) who have almost no life on their own and agency.
