There is a webtoon called "The Youngest Princess" and it came after "Charlotte".
I suspect it kinda ripped of "Charlotte" or borrowed certain elements from it.
Personally I think "Youngest Princess" is inferior than "Charlotte Has Five Disciples".
Enisha/MC was originally an Archmage who has only two disciples (They are so obssessed with her and missing her so much that they are willing to sacrifices any lives) until she got for unknown reasons reincarnated by a magic circle as a baby in the most powerful and richest patriarchal royal emperor family in the world. Turns out she is the long awaited third child/star princess. Her hottie father and two brothers are devoted and doting on her but they are also too overprotective and crazy about her. The male family members are also arrogant murderous psychos who would look down on anyone or anyone they just don't like especially when they are too close to the princess. The ML is a sad brooding simp. Many other characters are at the mercy of the tyrannical family.
For me this story is so glamorized and pretentious because everything in the plot revolve around Enisha being super shiny cute, being envied by anyone, getting superspoiled, being targeted, chased + desired by many men and how bloodthirsty talented superior the Emperor and his sons are.
That character has it too good. The elitist Princess has already everything.
The story about Charlotte has more interesting side-supporting characters who are not subservient or only focusing on a royal family. I think the disciples/other main characters are more endearing and complex. There are much more stronger girls and women. The power balance is more diversivied instead of being concentrated on an imperial family. I like MC Charlotte because she is a no-nonsense mature empathetic calm witty kickassing independent badass/weirdo who struggles to live her second life and find+experience love.
How would you describe Charlotte :)
Lol they are two completely different mangas Charlotte only aged backwards to her younger body enisha was put into a completely different body Charlotte and enisha have completely different personalities and they look nothing alike and enisha gets a whole new (blood related family) while charlotte just gets "adopted" for a few years and especially how charlotte lost alot of her powers while enisha keeps hers and will probably be even stronger in the future. I dont see how you are comparing these to in the first place and they both have their own charms and I personally enjoy reading the youngest princess just as much as I enjoy Charlotte's 5 disciples.
I agree with the reply above me. The two stories are completely different. Enisha/the archmage didn't even want to get turned into a baby. She went to sleep and some magic circle came out of nowhere and forced the event. Also the youngest princess focuses heavily on enisha and her new life. Heck even the most recent chapters are about her trying to find out more about some dude that proposed to her. Charlotte's 5 disciples seems to focus more heavily on how the mc can't get rid of her past so easily cause of how much her disciples seem to need her. They're both great stories and sure might share a similar element or two such as magic and both mc's having disciples but the stories themselves are completely different
Charlotte was literally trying to die lol. Then she goes on to live life and her new childhood is barely shown. The main story revolves around her as an adult again trying to stop her disciples from doing bad things to find her/fix whatever bs they got into while she was gone. Enisha's story (so far) revolves around her childhood and her life as a princess. Although we're repeatedly reminded she's actually an archmage, her power isn't being thrown in our faces. ALSO, charlotte isn't being taken care of by some rich, handsome dudes, she's literally out trying to ger her 5 kids to behave. Enisha was also found, might i add, by her two disciples and they don't bother her now since she decided to stay as the kingdom's princess. BASICALLY the two stories are different, completely unique to one another. Other than both being amazing and great reads
Yes the two stories are different but they started with a similar concept. Just like how many stories already overused the idea of reincarnated as a Villainess or being reborn as baby in royal (tyrant) family.
By the way, when Charlotte was a child again she was taken care of by Archduke Jeffrey Lewister.
What exactly do you like personally about the story of Enisha? As I mentioned she is now a princess who is basically on top and having many priveledges given to her. Her life is basically perfect. I like that the alphaholes treats Enisha very well but I don't feel comfortable how they are to other subjects especially the pitiful ML.
Of course her life isn't less easy. She still has to figure out why she was turn into the star princess baby, deal with assassins and political situations.
I still get the impression that she is quite well off with her current position and high social status + access to her Archmage's power, knowlege + resources.
You do realize that there are a shit ton of stories/books/novels etc. that start the same, have the same basic premise, have similarities, etc. and not be a knockoff of each other? How many anime/manga/manhwa/manhua start by someone getting into an accident and then die by that accident, then reincarnating into either a baby or taking over someone else's body, then for some odd reason the baby is overpowered/royal or the overtaken body is noble/royalty but then guess what. All those stories go on to their own little paths and be completely different of each other and without being a ripoff of each other? 6 of my favorite novel series have so much similarities because they share the same basic concept and none of them are knockoffs of each other. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Yes, I do know and I don't disagree with you. The idea of Age progression isn't knew.
I believe Charlotte was the first one which started the idea of an archmage that unexpectedly turned radically younger into an infant/child and has to cope with it.
Just like how Sailor Moon was influential to other Magical Girls Stories or how My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! started the whole unwilling reborn as the villainess trend in many storytellings in Novels, Mangas, Manwahs and Mahuas.
If you like this story, you might as well read "Charlotte Has Five Disciples".
There are some similarities. Personally, I prefer Charlotte.
The Artstyle of "The Youngest Princess" is great but for some reasons I can't really like the world building and the characters especially the males... I mean compared to other stories about MC reincarnated in a powerful royal patriarchal family the FL has it the easiest because the male family members already are devoted to and spoiling her without almost killing, abusing or toying with her. Well she did deliberatly charmed them.
The father and brothers may be hotties but they are still arrogant primitive murderous alphaholes/assholes who look down at anyone and would kill anyone they just don't like. The former students of the Archmage/MC also are not that much better.
The famous Archmage who for some unknown reasons gets forcibly reincarnated as the prophesied cute star princess of the most powerful Emperor family and many boys/men are after her/obssessed with her/overprotective of her...
To be frank, it has a very pretentious snobby undertone like Dynasty, Downtown Abby and Gossip Girl.
I feel more sympathetic, excited and can relate more to the characters of "Charlotte Has Five Disciples". If you read it, you might understand my reasons.
What are the significant differences between Enisha and Charlotte?
Like to hear your opinions.
Kinda wish the Fire Magician Chef would have dealt better with his rotten half-brother and closure with neglectful father...
Or do you think it was enough?
Hmm, honestly yes. I think it was enough. The Chef just straight up cancelled them; there's no point to going back on that and crying over spilled milk. It would be interesting if the author expanded more on that since they basically teased us with information like that. In addition to that, I'm pretty sure the half-brother had some type of f-up infatuation with the Chef since Tipin mentioned how the half-brother irritated him and reminded him of someone (aka the Magician back when he was a normal human being). Honestly, a whole sequel could be made expanding on the Chef's life and his boo afterwards and the haters. But, it is what it is.
The only reason why I still reading this because I enjoy seeing the indecisive ML suffer(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
The ML is annoying and stupidly childish but he is not one the worst impulsive arrogant MLs in mangas, manhuas and manwahs.
Correct me, if I am wrong but he never treated the MC that bad. No abuse, rape, cheating (not that they were really together) or anything that includes violence. He is just a whishy washy coward who suffers the consequences.
Don't get me wrong, I love to see the MC with another better mature man.
Still the ML is struggling so hard that is so sad and pathetic. Schadenfreude.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
So the little psycho bitch boy is a reincarnator. Talking about over the top twist.
Manhuas or Chinese Novels always use convoluted conspiracy, melodramatic soapy and suddenly supernatural/fantasy elements to create overly edgy on going drama story.
Kinda reminds me when Soap Operas use possesion, ghosts, time travel or aliens in a plot that is set in a supposed realistic grounded world.
I mean we see a shitty playboy/fuckboy scum being punished for his philandering ways by becoming the victimized women. He needs to improve thir lives and taking revenge for them/bringing justice to them. Who is better with dealing scum men than a super scum itself?
And we get to see him becoming a better empathetic person while helping the hosts.
MC/FL gets abused/mistreated in the original timeline and due to rewinding time by magic she becomes a more stronger liberated emancipated version of herself or she dies tragically and gets possessed by someone else.
But for some absurd illogical reasons the father, brothers or MLs who (in)directly caused her misery and death are starting to get curious and interested in her because she act suddenly differently and thus becoming more lovable/attractive. And then all is forgiven... WTF!!??
It makes more sense that the family becomes threatened, humilated and defeated by the reborn MC and maybe apologetic for their unforgiving behaviours! Still at the end they are out of their her life. IRL there enough plenty daughters and sons who don't give a damn about their shitty family anymore and banished them for most or rest of their lives.
I like MCs who managed to get empowered on their own and are really done with their whole blood family ^^ Great Consistency

Beware of the Villainess! + The Pet Of The Villainess + Kingdom Of The Queen + The Duchess with an Empty Soul + The Villainess Lives Twice + Daisy - How to Become the Duke's Fiancée
If you read "The Young Lady is A Royal Chef" it will also piss you very much off!
The story tells basically you about a suicidal girl (daughter of a slave whose death was also caused by the family) with mental issues caused by the patriarchal family (grandfather, two half-brothers, father with several wives and abusing jealous bitch stepmother third wife) who looked down her for being so gloomy, throwing tantrums and several suicides attempts. She successfully commited suicide and gets replaced by a more stronger open-minded and functional girl who gets suddenly now the attention and care of these strict arrogant tactless assholes due to her new attitute, gentle smile and cooking talent... The pain of the original host is quickly forgotten... The hell?!
I so wanna kick those alphaholes their entitled asses (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

I think it was chapter 44 where everything went downhill.
I was really shocked and disappointed when the author had to use the toxic soapy yaoi tropes like deceit, blackmail, violence and sexual assault/rape.
The grey-haired and red-haired jerks didn't have to be that evil and sociopathic.
But I realized that the author wanted them to harm Suha and the ML so that these two become quickly more closer and inseparable. The Uke always has to suffer the most to make the ML stronger and better...
I don't mind conflicts and tensions that are really relatable and entertaining but suddenly drugging, harassment and sexual coercion are no fun at all!
Here are BL stories without the toxic yaoi tropes:
On or Off, Mr. 100% Perfect, Here U Are, BJ alex, BL Motel, The Devil’s Temptatio, Hosik's story, Following Namsoo To The Bathhouse, The Last Zombie and Thirty Years Old.
I would like recommend Room To Room and Body Complex because they are hot but...
Room To Room - Sexual Assault Trauma of the past led to sexsomnia, annoying scheming effeminate ex-boyfriend tries to take advantage of the ML while he is trunk in the car and later wanted to use an aphrodisiac drug on himself to seduce ML in a restaurant. Both of his plans failed. He was like a mosquito.
Then there is Body Complex - It is implied that the MC may have experienced gangpang before but just brushed it off. The psychotic professor/ML's coerse/force MC into hardcore kinky SM play and MC got accidently pushed by him in front of a driving car out of anger. At least the dominant bisexual wife only in name put that professor in his place.
