Im portuguese (portugal), which means i also speak brazilian. I can also speak lots of spanish but i understand it better that i talk. As a Belgian, we usually either are native Dutch speaking or French speaking; and depending on that, our second language is obviously the other one. Ohh contrary to what people think of my country’s stereotype, we actually speak english fluently ^^ I take Mandarin as a compulsory 2nd language but I’m horrible at it OTL I plan to learn Korean, Japanese, Icelandic and a bit Tagalog if possible aha. Because I live in a touristic caribbean island I was raised speaking 4 languages:
Papiamentu (local language)
Spanish (My mother is latin and the local tv station airs lots of novelas)
Dutch (mandatory in school. Everything's in Dutch)
English (local tv stations airs american cartoons/ movies and most tourists communicate in English)
