I'm Asian-American and here in America (or at the very least, in Texas) having a tattoo is normal. No one really shuns people for having tattoos. Well, if your parents are strict, then they'll shun you, depending on your age, but still. Texas really doesn't give a shit if you have a tattoo or not.
