I was watching some anime vids on youtube when I clicked (randomly) on one of the Okane Ga Nai ova's.
I was shocked at first but secretly delighted. I was still fairly new to Anime and Manga and didn't know what Yaoi was. It didn't take long before my eyes were searching the Yaoi section manga websites. 4 reply
Yes i read yaoi manga now but when i saw it for the first time i was like wtf but as the time flew they picked up my curiosity and now i am a fan of yaoi mangas. My first yaoi manga was junjou romantica in anime. reply
Naruto, I mean I had seen Pokemon on to but never really followed it or anything, Naruto got me hooked, first on anime and then manga. Still love it, it's my first after all, firsts are hard to let go of. My first manga after Naruto was Fruits Basket. And then I found yaoi and became totally obsessed.

i've only been to two cons so far, but the most vivid memory i have was when i made my first cosplay for a future con.
it was enma ai's (jigoku shoujo) uniform so it was fairly easy, but i only knew the basics. i was pricked and burned many times from sewing and ironing down pleats, and my result was er... not bad. it was actually pretty good for ...... reply
I don't remember when i started to read yaoi, but i can say that yaoi manga is my safe place. I am just waiting to come home to read manga, i can never relate to 'love stories' but yaoi is just different for me, i can connect to the male characters.

I think becoming a comic artist is a bit harder in America as opposed to Japan (I don't know about other countries) but it's still do-able if it's your passion.٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I was 12 when i first saw yaoi...
One night while reading hentai manga, I accidentally read a yaoi manga. The seme thought that the uke was a girl(so did I), then when he tried to rape her, he realized that "she" was a "he". Then the manga ended/cut because it was just a trial version and i had to buy the rest.

I was kind of expecting it since in the previous pages they kind of hinted something was going to happen, but even still when you could see it like SEE IT I was so surprised. Not because it was 2 guys since its yaoi what else is there to see, but it was because it was my first time seeing it in a manga.
