Most of these MCs are so weak-willed. In the latest chapter they're basically deciding on who can have him like he's some kind of property to pass around. And he just goes along with them as if he doesn't have any choice in the matter, even though he's probably powerful enough to take on a small army by himself. Same for so many other isekai stories. Luckily there are a few MCs that don't take shit like that from others, but I wish there were more of them...

Saving 80,000 Gold Coins in the Different World for My Old Age - No op powers, just being able to travel between worlds. Uses modern tech and her wits to take no shit from others.
Potion Tanomi de Ikinobimasu! - Same author as above. Not physically strong, still an op power, but mostly uses words, manipulating others and quick thinking to get out of things she doesn't want to do. Even to the point of hurting herself (not permanently but still) at one point.
Arafoo Shachiku no Golem Master - MC is willing to concede up to a reasonable point, but at the end of ch5 and in ch6 he decides enough is enough and basically threatens the noble trying to take advantage of him with war if the noble continues.
Isekai de Skill wo Kaitai shitara Cheat na Yome ga Zoushoku Shimashita: Gainen Kousa no Structure - MC is OP as hell because of one single thing he can do. And he knows it. Gives me slight one punch man vibes the way battles go. :P
Versatile mage and Rebirth of the urban immortal Cultivator - Chinese wuxia web toons, but still pretty good. And they both really take no shit from anyone. :P
Kujibiki Tokushou Musou Harem-ken - Actually just does what he wants to do so far, rather than following what others tell him to do.

Isekai de Skill wo Kaitai shitara Cheat na Yome ga Zoushoku Shimashita: Gainen Kousa no Structure
the dude is steadily becoming the type to get lead around and doesnt stick with any rebellious attitude
Konjiki no Word Master...
is a better example
Arifureta shokugyou de sekai saikyou

Solo Leveling

Hero? I Quit That a Long Time Ago

Class ga isekai shoukan sareta naka ore dake nokotta n desu ga

The Reincarnation Magician of the Inferior Eyes
still pretty new but so far he seems to fulfill your preferences
Maou-sama Retry
Badass OP awesomeness
Player Reborn
so far so good
Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha
about as OP as it gets

The war ended 100 years ago in his normal timeline. Yet his friends are alive and of the same age as before. And I doubt they're 100+ years old. So he's not in the past. He's in an alternate timeline. So it's far more likely that someone changed the past to erase Sid from it and created an alternate "current time" where the four races weren't sealed.
What's interesting is this "code holder" thing. It might be something that Sid also possessed to become the hero of humanity. And now he has the sword as well. So my theory is that he will indeed be taking on the role of Sid, but only to fix the timeline and return it to how it once was.
Unless he later on travels back in time to actually become Sid of course, but there's nothing indicating that so far.

I'm wondering what the title of state master actually entails. I mean, apparently his standing is higher than even the emperor. I thought the emperor was the highest position.

His standing is not higher than the emperor. He serves the emperor. BUT...the emperor clearly fears him. So, either it's because the State Master is so powerful or has something on the emperor. I don't know what the deal is, but socially, the Emperor comes first. I'd like to know the back story on that one.

None of them seem to be connected directly, but they're all clearly in the same universe. Well, only legend of Yao Lao and the original could be seen as connected. Since Yao Lao seems to be a prequel. I wonder if this series is really that popular in the east, for there to be so many manhua in one universe.

The first prince showed blatant disregard for his position by ignoring proper etiquette and deciding on his own who the saintess was based on his own feelings, ignoring the other woman completely. So what if his image is worsened by separating him and the other girl? It's his own fault for thinking with his private parts rather than with his head. And because of that he possibly angered the real saintess and is causing trouble for everyone around him. If anything, he deserves his standing to be lowered.
Not that Sei will do anything because she's angry of course, if she's still angry at all. I've read enough of these stories to know by now that she'll just be all like "it's fine" and "it's not your fault" and all that. I wish she did get angry though... They deserve it for how they treated her right after the summoning.

I wonder if the second prince even wants to be the king? Cuz if so that solves the current kings problem. Just knock the first prince down a peg for being an idiot and let the more responsible second prince lead.
But if not it could lead to the second prince being forced into a situation that they would rather not be in.

I know I should have come to expect this kind of fan service and harem from isekai manga, but I felt annoyed by it this latest chapter... A bunch of YOUNG kids, all fawning over another young kid like that, right after such a serious incident. Even going as far as basically fighting over who can sleep with him first. (even the male beastkin) I mean, enough with the blatant harem and fan service already, can't we just get some more isekai without this crap? =/
I'm not saying I don't like the manga any more. It's still better than a lot of them as it's not JUST harem and fan service. (like in another world with my smartphone for instance) But I still wanted to rant a bit...

It would have been a nice ending to the story for Melodias and Elizabeth to go and live in the demon world. This new part feels like the story is getting stretched out for the sake of it. Like, as if the mangaka was forced to write a few more chapters by contract or something.
Guess I'll have to wait and see...

I'm actually happy it moved on, since there were way too many plotholes and rush in the original "ending." Had it ended like that, it would've left a bunch of questions unanswered and it wouldn't have made any sense. For instance, Baltra looking for a successor, that clearly needs to be Arthur but Arthur is dead so far (?), and Zeldris just pretty much disappeared, even though they made an effor to build him as a character, which made no sense whatsoever. I'm a bit bothered by the trolling of the "Epilogue" crap, but I'm happy we are going to have a propper ending that ties everything the way it should.
Didn't expect this fairly light-hearted manga to suddenly get to serious. People actually dying huh. I mean, there's no doubt in my mind that they'll get revived but still.
If I were Rimuru I'd go to war with that human country over this. They attacked the monster nation without provocation and killed indiscriminately after all. Not to mention how they declared war themselves. This would also be a good time to call on the Dwarven nation to aid them in the war. If only to counter the barrier that weakens only monsters.
But if Rimuru declared war, wouldn't there be more monsters from the monster nation killed? No?
So you think it's better to just let another nation walk all over his nation, killing his people without repercussions? Plus this was a surprise attack that the enemy planned beforehand. I doubt they'd have that much success when suddenly a large army of super powerful (the monsters Rimuru evolved are all super strong by that world's standards) monsters stands in front of their gates ready to lay siege on their city.
Yeah they sorta remind of solo levelling where his summons and him defeat their enemies....and rimuru with his entire nation and allies....but I think they really won't go to war tho...somehow this will be solved without that much bloodshed...
Cause...SPOILER!!!
Hinata was with rimuru, veldora, shion and the others in the other manga where it contains side stories.... And they were friends......
Yea but that's a side story. I mean, there's a high chance you're right considering the overall theme of this manga. But I wouldn't base what might happen in the main manga on what you can see in the side stories. :P
Rimuru only annihilated the 15k strong army of Farmas..so yeah not much bloodshed coz..leaving only the king to inflict his mind with a hellmarish state.
Oh! Well there isn't that much bloodshed...but there is still bloodshed.. well I wouldn't be satisfied without it though....haha
That's true, since they don't really show how the two characters get on good terms in the side stories
Aya rimuru wouldn't stand it he will find a better way than a full out war
