Honestly, what made the Prince that way? What made him hate Tia so much that he would rape her, kill the child, mentally abuse her and kill her father? It baffles me that these two are the same person, and it's confusing how it would drive this little boy in the future to do these things.
There were some hints about the past, like something happened when Tia was small and she can't remember it. Also the Prince was thinking at some point something about how Tia took everything he had etc. Interesting to see how that unfolds.
My hypothesis is that he loved Tia and then misinterpreted his feelings, cause he was an idiotic brat, and thought of her as his weakness. Which makes me hate him even more.
