HAHAHAAHAH!
The gall on this man. I mean, I guess he did have a genuine crush at one before. But hey… this is what happens when you’re a horny asshat who doesn’t balance their sex life. Get objectified. I like that he’s slowly realising she really only thinks of sex when she sees him and nothing else and he’s only slightly uncomfortable with that.
Though I doubt it’ll lead to anything deep. He only gathered these girls for stat points after all.

Initially, I was a little iffy about how everyone’s gratitude for our FL is just… not touching her at all. Like other than giving that little girl more food than she needed without being asked, she really is just being puppet master and using everyone around her, in admittedly very beneficial transactional relationships for everyone involved.
I just had to let that gripe go and realise I am not here to see the thawing of our Villainess’ heart because she technically already had that while she was locked inside her own body with Emi at the helm. That’s not the story’s priority. It’s priority is its revenge and its process and it’s pretty good so far

I have to say, maybe I’m misremembering the series and I need a reread. But Aileen’s mod/admin powers are REALLY SHIT. Like, I know she is super sick with a heart condition so I can’t really expect much and she’s slowly recovering. But I feel like all she does is eat and pop tower management on autopilot. The most she did was pop that projection to protect our dude one time.
It’s been over 60 chapters and I’m trying to remember if she’s recovered enough to do anything else…

I think it has something to do with how something is blocking the other dragons from entering the tower. I have a suspicion that something or someone is blocking Aileen from complete control. Like a hacker trying to take control of the admin's power and spreading a bug(the locusts) into the server(tower). Well, that's just my theory right now.

Girl has started becoming so mentally isolated to just thinking of Alistea that she froze in the face of saving someone’s life. Not because she was too late or it was hopeless to maybe pull him out of the way and there was nothing that could’ve been done. But because any sort of harm that comes to her would’ve made Alistea sad. She really did chose Alistea’s happiness over someone’s life. She says it was too late but it sounds like she’s trying to rationalise it to herself.
She’s unfrozen and stepping up now to save the town, but it’s not because of her former kind and selfless nature. That’s secondary now. It’s because it is the town that ALISTEA worked hard to make for her. It’s because it’s ALISTEA’S town. It’s because of ALISTEA

Who’d have thought? Ignoring the system that is helping you get all this pussy actually has consequences and even sometimes leaves you not getting any. You fucked around, got cocky in more ways than one, then found out.
Story is still shit, don’t get me wrong. But i do sometimes like a protagonist that gets carried away with the new power they get then think they are independent from it way too early. Listen to fucking StudHub, bastard. Remember you are NOTHING without it.

Popping out at chapter 52 to say I’m getting slightly irritated at how often Hestia just babies and fusses over Caelus. Like yes, he is depressed as heck and was suicidal. But like… even when HE initiates certain actions, she’s always so quick to jump in and try to talk him down and just… seems to want to keep him locked in his room the entire time and doing nothing.
Maybe I’m just uneducated and this is just how you’re meant to look after a suicidal depressed person but I’m just like ‘girl, can you let him have SOME agency in his life? Yes, he’s still mentally recovering but he’s also a fully grown man. If he says he wants to go to the Palace or go somewhere that may have some sore memories, it’s his prerogative and you should support him, not hinder him.” The level of kids safety gloves she’s treating this man with.

I agree with you so much and as a person who has experienced both being suicidal and helping someone else before, comforting is not the same thing as babying. It makes them feel worse, in reality—as if they’re worthless, a burden, and useless alone. This is what made me feel a bit uncomfortable reading this story because she keeps on infantilizing him while encouraging him at times and it swings back and forth so badly I get frustrated.
I believe the issue is that she doesn’t view him as his own person but a character in a book, hence why she is always thinking “oh no I have to do everything to protect this sweet cinnamon roll sunshine,” just like how we readers love to say “protect at all costs” about some of our fav characters. If this were real life, her actions would be overstepping as if she were his mom and tbh it’s a little unsettling. Hopefully, she realizes soon that this is reality, not some alternate dreamland fantasy of a novel.

I understand her point of view but her concern has been borderlining obsession and it is absolutely not helping him at all. She’s actively sabotaging and hindering him from having agency under the pretense of care and it pains me to say this but I know she has good intentions. Still, she’s projecting her image of the ML as a weak suicidal victim. She cannot view him as a victim that needs protection forever. He needs to stand up for himself but instead of feeling proud that he eventually moves on, she’s the one dictating what is ‘right’ for him when she hasn’t even taken into consideration anything the ML has been trying to tell her. He doesn’t want revenge; SHE is the one who wants it FOR him despite him saying he DOESN’T want it.
You cannot tell me this is healthy because unconsciously, she’s acting as if she knows better what is good for the ML. The ML has been hinting many times that he no longer feels anything for the OGFL and simply wishes to be happy but she refuses to trust him. She thinks he CANNOT be happy unless she takes revenge for him, which is ridiculous when the man said himself he doesn’t want that.
He WAS suicidal but he’s HEALING and she has been doing wonders for him already. It’s high time she realize now that he’s in a much better place mentally than before. She doesn’t have to baby him this much. He’s fully capable of making his stand now and it’s so frustrating that she refuses to properly acknowledge this. I get that she’s worried and concerned, rightfully so, but you have to learn to trust in the process and see that your ‘patient’ is truly recovered.
Popping out at chapter 24. I know she was stuck in a hospital since she was 6(?) and therefore probably didn’t socialise, but the FL seems a bit… stupid. For a girl who has apparently read alot of webnovels probably to compensate for her lack of social interaction, she is surprisingly prone to asking stupid questions, completely missing the implications of such questions and how her behaviour can appear to people.
Of course asking if priests can have romantic relationships can look like you wanna dare one because why else would would a normal person ask? For a girl that is so ecstatic about finally having a healthy body, she sure is fast to try and ruin it by over-exercising and not eating (thankfully she has plot armour and a system so she miraculously did not get any repercussions for it). And I know she needs to hurry because she has a year to basically live-or-die, but running off into town on your first night out when you got lost in your own damn house looking for the back gate is just… a recipe for disaster. Especially when you yourself admitted that the consequences for getting caught fall more on your friend than you. The friend you need to also raise the affection of.
I’m aware I’m probably being harsh but I feel like she has alot of plot armour right now.
