It's creepy to me how much the yaoi audience has normalized rape, and accepted it as an ok trope. So much so, that when we got stories like these trying to denounce rape, we get ppl feeling bad for the abusive manipulative rapist.

Same, I don't get why some people are on the little brother's side.. they blame the older brother for being weak. And it's like what.. you can't blame someone for being weak and the attacker the victim. Older brother's clearly being taken advantage of and trying to escape from it so desperately :( I feel no sympathy 4 the litte bro.. >.>

I'd slip something in his drink and destroy his phone or search any other evidence that he might have that he can use against me, cause fam we are crafty

exactly :( people may think it's easy to stand up for yourself in situations like this or even bullying but honestly in real life, it's really difficult. It takes a lot of courage and even support from others, which the older brother currently lacks and also it doesn't help that the little brother has blackmail material :( so the older brother knows that it'll be leaked and destroy his reputation with his family and friends:(

lol wish they could happen in the manga, i'm up for the younger brother being devastated and realizing he can't hold back his older bro ^o^

Seriously? THIS shit I can't handle. So often I run into shit like people blaming the victim on this forum but now that we actually have a victimizer who had been equally devastated by the people around him, INCLUDING the one who is the victim in ALL of this (yes, I DO know that that person is NONE OTHER than the older brother so don't try to 'splain' something to me that I *already know*), people are all of a sudden ganging up on the younger brother. It may be more subtle but if it's happening it STILL ends up being 100% victim blaming of the older brother. Here's why (although I shouldn't have to explain this): It kinda makes one wonder if people think a person who victimizes someone else precludes that person from being a victim themselves, or, alternatively, if they think one can only be a victim if the person doing the victimizing wasn't a victim themselves? That's victim blaming and, yes, of the older brother, folks.
So, don't even TRY to pretend I'm referring to the younger brother being victim blamed (after all, you CAN'T victim blame someone for their victimizing. Or, sorry, maybe I *did* just surprise everyone, here.), I'm referring to, and *only* to, the OLDER brother, OBVIOUSLY. It's just that people are going on and on about how the younger brother is an irredeemable rapist, except that NOT ONE person has seemed to have read the parts where he, himself, is feeling EXACTLY the same as the older brother. And, unfortunately and quite frankly, that's the only other answer, other than victim blaming, that would make sense. But that could also mean that people are equating compassion for one with victim blaming of the other. And that would just be SAD. Because, guess what, you just called someone a victim blamer for something they probably HAVE. NO. CONTROL. OVER. That should only be reserved for people who victim blame, intentionally. Mmkay?

As for my comment about victimizers being devastated by their victims even if their victims intended otherwise, it happens so often in real life I'm amazed others here haven't seen it for themselves. Someone is feeling abandoned by everyone around them, then the person they think is their sole support turns around and seemingly abandons them whether that be a mentally ill person who abuses their caregiver but their caregiver puts them into a home not because of the abuse but because they think the person who is mentally ill might feel better by getting professional support from medical staff or it is someone else entirely. Thanks.

just wanted to say that not everyone who sympathizes with the older brother wish death and destruction on the younger brother
yes, he's also suffered at the hands of others and obviously has some mental health issues, but that in no way justifies his treatment of his older brother. I can feel bad for him as a victim and also condemn his actions as a victimizer; they don't have to be mutually exclusive
However, many people are blaming the older brother for "not fighting back" against the younger brother, which is what this post was originally about
strangely enough, people aren't saying the same for the younger brother for "not fighting back" against his abusers; just thought that was interesting

Normalize? To be honest, we kinda have and it's sad that in some manga, we can't even identify it. But to say that this manga denounces rapeq? I see it as a protrait of how dangerous serial rapists are and how they manipulate their victims to the point of insanity. Realize we are looking through the older brother's eyes (considering that he is doing all the narration), and thus we see how the younger brother constantly gets his way around things, and why the older brother can't say no. (Completely my opinion. Feel free to disagree)

people literally bringing this entire manga down to who he ended up with. like who cares??? There's SO MUCH MORE to take away from this manga than who ended up with who. It's your opinion of course I respect it and the fact that you wanted him to end up with someone else. But why are you saying the manga would've been better if he ended up with someone else?? Like this manga isn't about who he ends up with...????? It has so much more, about his strong connection with his mom, his strong sense of friendship and sense of goals (in terms of justice, saving people, helping people, loving people), the friendships that brought the serial killer to justice, the love his mother gave him and the power she had to not give up on him, etc. etc. This manga is SO MUCH MORE than a ship I'm just so done with people belittling works for the sake of a ship -_-.
But he might be related to the baker maybe his brother or cousin because 1. They don't have the same name 2. They don't have the same colour hair/eyes 3. Baker told us he was mixed, so it's possible that if he's related to sunbae, sunbae is mixed and inherited the black hair instead of blond and the hazel eyes, while baker inheritors the blond and blue eyes.
you think sunbae is related to the baker?? I don't think so at all! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Oh ok what do you think?
I think he's just a normal person ,not related to sunbae at all
but why do you think sunbae is related to the baker? Is it cause of their physical features?
Ohhhhhh I see like just a different person!! That's a pretty good idea TBH!
I explained it in my post^!
oh soooooooorry! i didn't read your post completely,haha(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
