Why does the female MC in Chinese Novels/Manhuas always/often gets abducted or kidnapped??? And it always happens because of the jealousy and stupidity of evil bitches...
Have you ever seen a male MC going through the same ordeal as a female character?
Some of them have even less guts and gumption than this girl does. Actually, I'm pretty impressed with how much resourcefulness and ingenuity this woman shows apart from this generic-male Gu character right now, because we are so obviously not meant to care about him, but somehow that makes it worse. A strong character always looks after those weaker than themselves, especially those who aren't attackers, and Gu is weaker than Ning. Plus, he had the good taste and sensibility to fall in love with her, right? Because she's awesome, and smart men fall in love with awesome babes. So why punish him for that?
Well its was obvious that she will end up with that other guy so it was needed to remove that guy...lol that poor soul and because Its would be boring to just kill him or make him feel in love with someone else so author decide that I would be fun to destroy him and I'm hundred prosent sure that that guy will du something stupid ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Is it possible these are actually the next main characters as a throuple?
It is the typical premise where the MC/Fl will keep suffering alot until the ML is reformed because that sad garbage is obsessed with her and keeps testing her patience by bullying her...
What is it with that novel trope "Womens suffering will bring salvation for the flawed Men".
If you read "Trash of the Count’s Family" you see that this MC doesn't need to suffer so much or endure pain to get sympathies or reform other characters for his own survival.
The MC probably won't stay in a throuple relationship. It is very likely that he will be in a loving relationship with the Seme/ML1 and ML2 will end up with the silent cameraman with cap (RAW chapter 18: Capman knows about the whole secret sex thing + the MLs are also aware of him). Pretty predictable, if you ask me... Only one pair of Seme+Uke/Top+Bottom at the end.
Still hoping a little that this won't be the outcome but...
"From Points of Three and Private Lessons" also started with a threesome but at the end of the story the MCs choose to be in a convential monogamous relationship. The third person/wheel always gets sidelined when the story is starting to focus more on the classic two MCs (Dominant > Naive Subservient) becoming a couple.
You know, I kinda wish to see a functional polyamorous threeway for once in a webtoon manwah.
That author has done a very bad job about the treatment of mental illness and ignorant portrayal of colorism/racist stereotypes...
I still think about the pitiful origHost and how much I dislike most of the male characters in this story!
At least Melissa from "Beware of the Villainess" and Alicia/MC from "When The Villainess Loves" still thinks about the misunderstood mistreated host!
I hope you don't mind spoilers! If you mind, just don't read my comment.

According to some spoilers, I think they did! Penelope's body was still alive (but in a coma) and in the hospital and I think at one point later, Penelope visits her OG world and sees her family and they asked for her forgiveness, realizing she was the their OG daughter. I don't know what happened how they realize their abuse but she didn't forgive them and she personally cut the oxygen(?) machine leaving the body dead. Then she left to penelope's world again with the ML.
It is probably not a real typical time travel/reborn story.

The logic of the two male leads...
The prince suddenly develops feelings for his blackmailer who lost interests in him and the wolfman slave who refuses to be free and is emotionally attached to his slave owner...
I am sorry but these trope is very very toxic problematic!
Romanticied Stockholm Syndrome and Never accept NO as a final answer...
Is there actually a slave character in any mangas/manwahs/webtoons/novels who doesn't fall in love with his former white slave owner or pledge his/her eternal loyalty to that person???

I STILL don't understand quite the logic and conversation between the MC/Uke and ML/Seme...
I can't comprehend why the ML has become so suddenly so rapey AND obsessive... Was it really THAT necessary? This Yaoi trope could have been easily avoided.
