its a mix, depending on the area you live in America. Down south and in the mid-west, they explicitly ban LGBT from stores and churches and all these other rights aka fuckshit. but theyre tht way about everything. In the east, such as New England, people more tolerant and no one bothers them but are praised and welcomed with open arms in areas li......   2 reply

I've been playing since I was 8 (I'm 19 right now) and it's not as difficult as some people say it is, so dont worry about it. In the beginning it might be difficult to put the fingers in the correct places, but just do what most beginners do and put stickers on it so that you get used to put the fingers where it is, and eventually you'll be able t......   1 reply

Of course! Violin is a very beautiful and fun instrument to learn and really isn't that hard. I've played for 4 years now and it isn't too hard of an instrument to learn. Start with the basics of learning the treble clef and how to position the violin and bow correctly. You can find a lot of tutorial videos on that on youtube.   reply

I am chubby and a girl. I'm in Europe, and here too, the society don't accept easily someone who is chubby. But it's more like: - The nice persons: "You are chubby? Try to lose some weight. You can't? Man, it's not a big problem, but try to lose, for your health!" - The assholes : "You pig" The critters of beauty of the Europe are rude! But I don'......   1 reply

While being chubby is acceptable in America, it's not quite so in Asia. First off, it takes less to categorize us in the obesity section, and obesity also kills us off faster than it would kill someone from the west. It is also viewed as irresponsible or non-caring, appearance wise. People get the impression that you're not trying hard enough to lo......   1 reply

What you say is true. As some of the other answerers pointed out, I feel that American and European comics represent heavier characters more often. Might I suggest the comic series "Jem and the Holograms" Published by IDW comics. It's a rehash of the old TV cartoon from the 80s of the same name. It has the most diverse cast of body types out of an......   reply

The problem is, you're seeking something that would be very hard to find in general. The Japanese scorn excess fat and obesity, it is seen as unhealthy and the body is treated like a temple. This is shown in the great lengths they go through in order to maximize their potential as a human being; physically and mentally. Koreans are the same in this......   reply

It's not surprising as being chubby or overweight is less common in Japan than in western countries. Also, even in the west, the most desirable bodies are slimmer. It's only recently that countries like America have started to appreciate different body types and feature them more in media.   reply

Usually the chubby characters are the ones that want to lose weigh or change their appearance. Because they were bullied and lack confidence in themselves. So when someone who they consider is way out of their league wants to date them. They starting doubting them and questioning why. They feel the need to change and get better. You see cute chara......   reply
